According to ovulation tests, I don't ovulate. Is it me or are they a load of rubbish?

I have two children and we are going for number 3. Technically I ovulate tomorrow. Yesterday I had EWCM today it's gone. Now it's tacky.
According to the Tesco ovulation tests I never ovulated.

Really it's neither here nor there since DP is away and we dtd Monday and not now until tomorrow.

But still, I bring to question the reliability of these tests. I have two children with him conceived straight away. I never got a positive with them either, although I only used them for one month with them two before giving up after having no positive.

I looked on another website that shows the tests. I've not seen one on there that's positive either. In fact all the answers are 'it's nearly positive!' and never actually positive.

Mine aren't even 'nearly' positive. Mine are totally negative.

Hi, I only use the cheapies off Amazon so can't comment on the Tesco ones. It's frustrating though isn't it? There have been months for me similar to what you've described. I know I'm not much help but didn't want to read n run.

I would go by your own symptoms like the EWCM I also notice the ovary discomfort too. You conceived #1 & #2 by not POAS so fingers crossed for you that you get your BFP soon.

The cheaper ones only pick up on one specific hormone and it can be high enough to test positive for just a couple of hours - very unlikely that you'll hit that time! According to those tests I didn't ovulate at all the month i conceived my DD.

I used the expensive ones (clear blue digital) that measures two different hormones when I was trying for DS. Apparently I ovulate on day 17 so I wouldn't have caught it anyway! But they give a much more reliable result.

It's far too complex for my liking.

I'm definitely just going to shag left right and centre and hope for the best.

Opks aren't meant to confirm ovulation though, only predict it might be on its way....and that's only if you catch the surge.....

I've definitely has no surge. It's been really light. It was darker the last day of AF.

I had a clearblue fertility monitor which never detected ovulation even though blood tests showed I had. So im with you OP!
