What is implantation bleeding actually like?

Hi

I am due AF next week but last night when I wiped, there was a blood on the tissue (sorry if tmi). I'd say it was a bit bigger then a 50p. I thought I had just started AF early but today there is nothing.

Me and DP have dtd this month in my fertile period so I thought maybe it is implantation bleeding but from what I have read on the internet the amount I had was more then the usual spotting.

I am just a bit worried as a few months ago I had 2 periods in one month, the doctors said it can happen and not to worry but not I have abnormal bleeding again I am worried something might be wrong with me.

I had always thought implantation bleeding was a) a bit of a myth, probably happened much more rarely than it featured on Internet forums, and b) was a tiny speck of blood. I then had it with this pregnancy and it was loads. I thought my period had started, and then the bleeding stopped. I also thought that something might be seriously amiss.

Mine was one wipe of brown blood.
