Really want to get pregnant this month how often should we be doing it!

Trying to get pregnant for ages (18months) after eptopic pregnancy only have one tube had lap and dye in november all ok small adhesion but all sorted during op.
Any way want to start a fresh this month and really go for it so to speek. Maybe we just dont have sex enough or at the right time. My cycle is usually 28-30 day. will do ovulation test this month. On day 8 today. Is every other night ok or should we be doing it more. Any other tips or old wives tales to boost fertility I really want it to happen this month. It so frustrating got pregnant with my dd in 3 months.

Not sure if I do or not but what does it mean if the period after ovulation until yourperiod isnt very long.can you do anything to change this. sorry forgot to add this to inital message.

If you're having sex 2-3 times per week, throughout your cycle, you're doing enough.

If you're using OPK this month, you could try the "sperm meet egg" plan. Starting from day 8, have sex every other day. When you get your first +ve OPK have sex that day, and the day after, and the day after that. Then rest for a day, and have sex again the following day.

The period between your ovulation and your period arriving is called your luteal phase. Ideally this should be 12 days or more, although there's really only a cause for concern if it's less than 10 days. There are various things you can do to influence this, the thing I found most effective was to take a vitamin B6 supplement, 50mg daily throughout my cycle. But I recommend you use the OPKs this month and see what your luteal phase looks like before making any changes to your diet or supplements.

i would disagree with artoo on when to BD just to confuse things!
a +ve opk means you will ov within the next 36hours after you get the +ve. as eggs only last for 24 hours that means you will only remain fertile for 2.5 days after your +ve opk at the maximum! sperm can last for longer so i would say it is best to get as much BD in as possible before ovulation! ideally the day before and the day of ov is the best!

just reread artoo's post and i think we basically said the same thing actually! whoops! didn't mean to confuse things!
just have sex ALL day, EVERY day for 4 weeks and you cant go wrong!!!
