I am now 2 weeks overdue for my period and had positive test. My problem is, I had a lot of pain (like period pain) around the time my period was due and I'm worried something is wrong. I had a pregnancy before where 12 week scan showed no heartbeat but baby had died at 7 weeks, with no bleeding. I did another test last night and was only faint line. Shouldn't it be darker by now if all well? Sounds dilly but no time to get checked out before xmas and Know family will guess as not drinking but don't really want to tell people if not going anywhere.

sunrays- you must make time to go to the doctors- it may all be normal but you need to put your mind at rest. I too had a MC in October and I have lower abdominal pains, but I was told this is normal, I made the mistake of telling my close family and although they were very supportive, the sad smiles drove me insane- As long as the pain isn't unbearable you should be fine. I also had an ectopic and I was in absolute agony but from the sounds of it if it just feels like period pain and is central it will be fine- please go to the doctors

I would try and get yourself seen tbh. I was in a similar situation last September, my baby died at 7 weeks too and because of all the potential problems, I went and got checked over. Luckily everything was ok with me. Can you not go to the early pregnancy unit at your local hospital? Or maybe even an NHS Walk in centre, who may be able to refer you?

know you're right. Guess I don't really want to face up to it

Its the hardest thing to do hun but either way you can put yourself out of misery- but remeber the mind is a wonderful things and thinking positive will send happy vibes to the bean.
When I was preg I wasn't positive and worried none stop and I sometimes think I willed the situation to be negative- but on the positive I now know I can catch-
It's no much at the moment, but try and smile through the worry x
