Does ovulating make you horny?

Have recently come off the pill after 10 years and this was due to wanting to ttc soon plus it had killed my sex drive. I have been using an app to try and track my periods seeing as I have no idea what they are up to and on the day I would have supposidely ovulated I was in incredibly horny.
Has anyone else had this? Thanks

Yes, it's natures way of making sure we procreate! Not true for everyone I don't suppose and think we notice it more when we're ttc as we're keeping track of our cycle and generally more tuned in to our bodies but it's definitely true for me.

Yes very. I'm not on any contraception (not TTC, using condoms during peak time) but I get so frisky on days 12 to about 16

Well at least that explains it! We had a slight hiccup when it came to using condoms that day and then haven't bothered since so I suppose I can say we are now ttc. How exciting/scary!

Yes, I have not taken contraception long term, so as nature intended.

Oh yes - we were at it every day around ovulation and we are normally a once a week couple. Mad how much the Pill suppresses all of that. I was on it since 15 to regulate periods. Coming off it was like experiencing everything for the first time. So liberating.

Massively. I had been on the pill our entire relationship and DH didn't know what hit him when I came off when we started TTC It's fantastic and I love it. Makes the whole TTC thing much easier!
