Fred rules (copied and adapted from previous Fred)

 1. Thou shalt shag as much as humanly possible in order to get upduffed.
 2. Thou shalt not partake of OPKs, temping, or charting.
 3. Thou shalt keep symptom spotting to a minimum.
 4. Thou shalt share with your fredmates where needed.
 5. Thou shalt not be offended by the word vagina.

JSing lingo

ERTD = Evil Red Tide of Dooooooommmmmmm. Or AF to most others. Also known as 'the witch', 'bitch witch' and 'that one with the red shiny convertible'

Viroid = This is you, dear poster. This is from the first JS thread when someone tried to type 'ladies' and it autocorrected to 'Viroids' - so there you go!

Pant snot = Egg white cervical mucus.

Doing a Kitten = Getting upduffed soon after joining (warning: may induce envy in other posters).

POAS = Pee On A Stick (of the pregnancy detecting kind, not from a tree). Also known as PIAR (Pee In A Ramekin - cos we're posh birds innit), or PIATLH (Tea light holder), PIAWG (Wine glass) or anything else you care to pee in! PONF = Pee on Nigel Farage (Self explanatory)

ROC = Receptacle of Choice - what one chooses to use for the task of POAS. Optional decorations include photographs of controversial political leaders.

JIAC = Jizz in a Cup. Preferable to jizz on the carpet or jizz in the eye. This one's for the lucky men in our lives.

Jizz in a bra = how we transport the jizz to the Sperm Queen

Shagging like Something = JSing like a teenage nymphomaniac.

Giving a hooya = Giving a much needed slap to a fellow poster in danger of slipping into TTC obsession. Warning - this may happen to you if you start trying to POAS at 5dpo. PUT. THE. PISSY. STICK. DOWN. IT'S TOO EARLY!

Contraband (or Cuntraband) = Of COURSE none of us EVER partake of any silly OPKs or temp charting. They are Contraband.

Icing = ovulating. Another autocorrect development!

Getting your Cape on = planning some serious pouncing on DH/DP

SOTM = Shagger of the Month. Awarded with varying regularity to those viroids who go above and beyond EOD shagging in pursuit of that BFP

TWOT - Two Weeks of Torture. AKA Schroedingering!
TWPU - Two Week Piss Up!

Keeping your gingers = fingers crossed, yet another autocorrect development! Shortened to 'gx'

Doing A Lemon = Testing WAAAAAAAY to early!

Miroid - The male compadre of a viroid

Cat - Compulsory

Skittletits - Killer molten painful tits and nipples

Ghost jizz/goat jazz - When the amazing foof sucks up all the jizz - achieved when coming at the same time/nearly the same time.

ain I'll send some positive opks your way, I've got them coming out my ears for all the good they are doing me!

angelazul · 13/01/2016 22:19

Just that's so shit, but you're not imaging those lines, I'd do as the others have said & mention it to gp/fc.

Ain I'll try some chanting here for you, see if it'll help you to ice

LondonGirl83 · 13/01/2016 22:35

Just sorry that's weird, definitely discuss with GP.

Okay, so viroids tell me if this is normal. I got LH surge Monday morning. However, I still have egg white cervical mucus (quite a bit tonight). I also am still get ovulation bleeding (quite a lot) so I don't really know what's happening. I've never had it over multiple days. Any and all advice welcome. I'm going to shag in the morning just in case but I don't know what to make of it.

corgi88 · 13/01/2016 22:36

Oh just what a pisser. I'm sorry. Definitely mention to fc - I think these might count as chemical pregnancies? Because I can sure as heck see a line and you are not delusional! Good luck for Friday.

First day back at work today, no breakdowns phew. Did nearly faint in a section though, par for the course Grin

Nfmv: entering the fertile period now though can't really tell post-mc. Suppose should shag tonight though have a killer headache from this on-call....
Nfmp (parquet): bloody well going for it! Fear this may be end of my marriage...

justtheonethen · 13/01/2016 23:14

Well done corgi Thanks

london sorry I don't know, obviously I barely know what is going on with my own body! If in doubt shag!

Illiria · 13/01/2016 23:22

Hey Chat - iui again I think though they told us not to try for two months but we both want to have one go at it on our own, if my wtf cycle isn't too long. DH was back the UK for three weeks so has returned super horny, trouble is I am still on sex ban and my parents are visiting so he has to wait till next week Grin

Am already back in the high dose vit c and will prob continue till week 12 if we get bfp. Really felt like it was doing me good. Also might ask fc if we can do iui 24 after trigger as that is what worked.

Canters15 · 13/01/2016 23:39

Oh just. So sorry. Def faint positive and agree with corgi re chemical pregnancy- theres a world of difference between this and not getting preg so def mention it. Do your tests go back to normal between periods?

My imagined early preg symptoms are rapidly disappearing. Probably as well I'm not really considering the amount of booze I have sunk on this trip. Back to the UK tomorrow, boo.

Bloody hell sock lots of drs on here! Am a gp trainee (for now anyway) just finishing up 6/12 in gp and heading onto psych next month....

Kwick709 · 14/01/2016 07:36

Illiria why are you on high dose vit c? I thought that could bring on af?
I typically have iui next day after injecting ovitrelle. What has your clinic been doing?

LondonGirl83 · 14/01/2016 14:25

just I think you are right. I'll just keep shagging though I am 100% certain I've iced now-- was probably Wednesday or Tuesday or a very slow ovulation over both :)

What did fertility clinic say about you LH surges near AF? Perhaps its linked to that. I hope they'll be able to give you some answers and get you up the duff asap.

corgi88 · 14/01/2016 15:43

canters I'm a GP trainee too, just finishing obs and gynae and onto paeds next month!
so upset about Alan Rickman :(

corgi88 · 14/01/2016 15:46

Am now a real thyroidviroid, my GP has given me 25microg thyroxine. Whoohoo.

FuzzyOwl · 14/01/2016 16:41

Hello everyone . Sorry I haven't kept up well but I have read through all the posts and whilst not medial, fully support those of you who were striking yesterday.

I can't remember to reply to all the comments I read but sorry for those with AF and glad to hear from those whose pregnancies are going well. I am also envious of all this skiing talk. I started just as I fell pregnant with DD but am fully intending on a winter trip at the end of this year.

Yes I do have seven cats but a few are quite distinctive looking and I think I will out myself by uploading pictures. Will see whether I can get any of them to agree to a line up and sneak the off picture in. Wink

Just sorry to hear about your chickens and AF. I would speak to your doctor because, as said, there is a difference between chemical pregnancies and not getting pregnant.

London what OPKs do you use? I know that I get a positive with an IC three days before I ovulate and two days after my first static smile on Clearblue. So, it sounds like you might be similar and have ovulated last night or today.

Canters I hope you are having a lovely time on your honeymoon. It sounds great.

justtheonethen · 14/01/2016 18:36

Hi viroids.

I've got a test to take tomorrow and if it shows a faint line I'll go and wave it in the consultants face.

Got busy day tomorrow, got an interview in morning then fc at 3.

Feeling rather blah about it all Sad

Hope everyone well. I did read back but promptly forgot it all. Thanks for all being so kind though Smile

SockQueen · 14/01/2016 19:07

Wishing you loads of luck at the FC tomorrow!

CountryGal4 · 14/01/2016 19:33

You are a badass woman - wait no badass viroid. roar woman! FC is another step forward and interview pssssh you'll eat it for lunch!!

LondonGirl83 · 14/01/2016 19:34

fuzzy I'm using clear blue and got my static smily face on Monday morning. Shagged Tuesday morning first thing- late to work but hey ho- and think I iced Wednesday as I still had loads of EWCM and some ovulation bleeding that day. Anyhow, my temp has definitely spiked as of this morning so I am officially in the TWOT

justtheonethen · 14/01/2016 19:50

Happy twotting London Grin

Catscatsandmorecats · 14/01/2016 21:40

just it sounds like when I got that bfp then it got fainter then the witch came, definitely tell them at the fc, it might give them a clue. Good luck for that and the interview tomorrow.

London it does sound bizarre, have you called the Dr to we if they have any ideas?

I am in the torturous TWOT, still DTD loads for us so that is good bit I couldn't feel less pg if I tried! Had a bit of spotting today even though the witch isn't due for a week. If my body mucks me about again with one that sort of sticks then doesn't I will be very very cross Angry. If that does happen, I will be straight to my lovely dr for a referral as it would be the second chemical/v early mc and third mc in total. Stupid stupid body.

Illiria · 14/01/2016 21:51

Kwick as vit c is water soluble your body gets rid of what it doesn't use. I have been taking on my own to improve antioxidant levels which seem to help my progesterone levels, one of Lils many tips and tricks passed on through the viroids. My iui was normally after 36 hours but I take a hcg trigger after taking clomid in days 3-7. As they couldn't tell if I had surged naturally the night before my scan the last time they told me to inject anyway and iui the next day. Each clinic seems to do things differently and I am out in California so they do stuff differently here too.

Illiria · 14/01/2016 21:54

Corgi welcome to the club :-) I'm on 50mcg. Have to say I do feel better taking it even though I shouldn't need to if I wasn't ttc.

Feeling apprehensive about contacting fc to start back up, I keep flitting between wanting to get back to it straight away and wanting to give up so I don't risk mc again.

Canters15 · 14/01/2016 22:03

Good luck just! Here's hoping they can give you an answer.

Corgi whoop! Team gp. How much longer have you got to go? I'm st1. Got a&e next winter which I am DREADING and hoping I can avoid with some well timed maternity leave also yay for levothyoxine!

Cats gx gx gx. Spotting could be implantation bleed?

Skittle tits back with a vengeance this am. Never had this bad or long before but suspect my body is messing with me.

Flying back today!

FuzzyOwl · 15/01/2016 00:00

Safe flight back canters.

DTD last night and tonight. Will do so again tomorrow as I am sure I am icing today or tomorrow. Then onto the tedious and drawn out tww.

Catscatsandmorecats · 15/01/2016 11:34

Whoop whoop Fuzzy

Canters Thank you for the GX, I just can't shake the feeling that this spotting is going to carry on all the way til the witch arrives again and be another chemical/early mc. I will try and take on some of your optimism! I hope your flight back was OK and you are still enjoying the honeymoon glow :)

For all you medics, there was a great lady on question time taking JH apart this week, Also my Dad suggested yesterday that Jeremy Hunt should replace James Blunt for rhyming slang Grin

MyBlackCat · 15/01/2016 14:02

Hello everyone

Sorry just that your body has been fucking around with you again Thanks

canters hope you've had a great time, safe flying

fuzzy we are cycle twins this month. Had a positive opk today, must get my cape on tonight Gringx for us both.

I've been on jury service this week, doing my bit to send criminals to jail. It's interesting but does get you pissed off with how much of our taxes gets wasted on ridiculous cases.**

LondonGirl83 · 15/01/2016 14:07

Cats I haven't mentioned it to GP. From what I've read on Dr. Google, ovulation bleeding is normal (though uncommon). I've had it before, though this time it was much heavier (though still very light) and persisted for longer. My ovaries still kind of hurt too. Maybe I've released more than one egg Shock
