ChaCha, Hi ! Well I'm CD235, with no signs of anything occuring. Have spoken in length with DP and we have decided that we are going to go for a treatment once he has sorted out a personal issue. So that's something to look forward to!

2ticks · 08/06/2004 12:56

Not much to report here - CD11 today and a barely visible line on the OPK this morning, so maybe I will be ovulating in the not too distant future - fingers crossed!

rosies · 08/06/2004 13:05

When trying complementary therapies, i see futurity is trying reflexology, its an idea to maybe get your partner some sessions too... ttc can be stressful for both partners.

i am trained in maternity reflexology and yes, its a very balancing therapy. sometimes the endocrine system (hormones) needs a kick up the backside and reflexology can help to achieve this. apart from helping with the stress side of things, of course.

there have been quite a few positive articles written recently about sub fertility and reflexology. there are times during IVF treatment when it can be used to good effect also.

best wishes to those ttc.

ChaCha · 08/06/2004 14:13

Thanks bunny How are you and baby?

Reflexology sounds great, might have a look into that next month.

BeckiF - that's great news, give it your best shot...let us know when it all falls into place

Good luck bluestar, really hope this is your month!

Another chance lost for me AF arrived yesterday. I am getting rather tense about it now esp as I didn't want too big a gap between DS and his little brother or sister. I even started thinking about what I would do if we couldn't have another. I think it would be terrible for DS, as well as us. I think I might go buy a Persona - it worked first try for my SIL.

bluestar · 08/06/2004 16:16

AussieSim Sorry to hear af arrived.

bluestar · 08/06/2004 16:26

The February thread has been started - wonder if any of us will get to join them, the lucky bu**ers.

Azure · 08/06/2004 16:32

Hi everyone. ChaCha - sorry you are going through a down time. Reflexology seems like a great idea. Misdee, is there ever an ideal time to ttc? Sounds like a good idea to just take it easy for a bit. AussieSim, sorry it wasn't your month. I conceived the first month of using Persona last time, although have obviously failed to this time around. BeckiF - I'm so pleased you're going for the treatment! Bluestar - best of luck!! When do you think you might test again?

bluestar · 08/06/2004 17:10

Azure, did your dh make it home in time the other night??? Not sure when I will test again. My 2nd round of bding would mean that I could test this time next week, however, there is always a chance that I have had a very late ov and therefore af wuld not be due until mid June and I would definitely not be pg if this was the case as no bding at crucial time. Did try to stay awake for a late night bd, however, heard dh come home and the next thing I remember is waking up in the morning. Not conducive to ttc!!

Azure · 08/06/2004 17:17

LOL about falling asleep - when it is late at night, the 20 minutes bum-on-pillow wait seems forever. DH's business dinner was cancelled (hurrah!), so we did manage to do the necessary. Now for the two week wait. It's frustrating not knowing exactly when you ovulated - fingers crossed it was at the appropriate time.

ChaCha · 08/06/2004 23:43

LOL at bum-on-pillow wait! So true.
I actually started TTC at floor level so i could swing my legs straight up onto sofa or bed - such dignity!

Good luck to everyone - whose gonna be on the February thread then?!?

Hi ChaCha, thanks for asking, we're doing ok. I have had my fair share of problems but have got to 4 months and all is looking good.

Get that Feb thread started!
Good luck XXX

ermentrude · 09/06/2004 00:30

Dear me bunny2 - that has passed quickly!

I am still lurking and still getting BFN

Tania2 · 09/06/2004 07:18

Hi girls, have been busy and havent had the chance to chat. cd14 did ov tests and temp tests since day 9 and bugger all. is it possible that i may ov on a different day even if my cylce is a 28 day this month?? or maybe i havent ov at all this month?? sorry to hear about AF shouldknowbyfriday hopfully it will happen next month. well i suppose it will give you more time to bring DH around. we always have to look at the +ive each month this month i have 2 of my friends 30th that i want to have a wine or 10 at and my best friends wedding is in October so i suppose iam trying to stay +ive each month AF arrives by telling myself that "well now i can drink at the wedding and not feel fat in my bridesmaid dress!" anything to make me feel better!!!!! reading about how our DH or DP will be feeling it too made me really think but at this stage i feel that my DH is just loving the ttc part at the moment he doesnt really know what the rush is to have another yet. But if it happens he will be over the moon.

ShouldKnowByFriday · 09/06/2004 12:23

Tania2, you were up at an ungodly hour posting on Mumsnet!! 4:18:16AM!!
Friend told me on Wednesday that my DH said to her last week that I can have as many children as I want (have 2, want 3-4) as long as I don't change, ie start screaming, shouting, try to control him like last wife. V.good news indeed. Roll on next weekend!!

Tinker · 09/06/2004 12:31

Just popping in here - don't normally look at the pregnancy and conception ones. Good luck everyone.

gold123 · 09/06/2004 12:48

shouldknowbyfriday - thats good news, are you going to reveal your identity to us now ?

Well I'm on cd25, my usual cycle length is 28-30, feeling a bit lousy, sore boobs and bad temper, not holding out much hope as I had these symptoms last month and got a BFN.

Going on holiday on 14th to Butlins and dd loves going down the flumes in a dingy, you can't go on if you are PG so there will be a +tive come from a possible -ative. Couldn't upset her could I ?

Azure · 09/06/2004 12:48

Hi Tania2 - it can be very frustrating waiting for an ov sign. Hang on in there. It's a good idea to look at the positive if & when AF comes - funny how it often revolves around going out / drinking! ShouldKnowbyFriday, I'm glad DH seems on board for having more. Of course, I think you're mad wanting 3 or 4 children

hana · 09/06/2004 12:54

just wanted to send everyone here lots of luck and that you get your good news very very soon

Tania2 · 09/06/2004 15:14

Shouldknowbyfriday - down under in the land of oz it is now 8.50pm when i posted the last one it was around lunch time when ds was asleep. i need to work out what a good time would be to have a chat when we are all awake. you also must be so releaved that DH has come around you wont have to stab your diaphram now!! thank you Azure for your encouragement it just really gets you down. and yeh it is funny about the drinking etc. its the things you cant do when you are pg that you really want to do. Iam really looking at the +ives now about having a gap between kids the good old saying "the first gets brought up and the second gets draged up" i look at friends that have a toddler and a new born or even pg and they seem to not be able to do much with their kids. My advantage is ds is 18mths we have playgroup on a monday morn, swimming on tues and gymbaroo on a wednesday some of these things would be hard to do with a baby aswell. so once ds/d comes along and is old enough to do these things than i can do them while ds is at kinder or school. so neither miss out on these activities and i get quality time with both (all this in my ideal dreamy world$$$. Thank you hana and tinker we need some baby dust our way. the time is now 9.10pm on friday night. if anyone is up late drop in.

bluestar · 09/06/2004 15:52

gold123, hang on in there, you never know!

ShouldKnowByFriday, great news about dh coming round to your way of thinking!

Temps still high for me yet not thinking about it all too much as probably turn out that I've had a late ov and therefore will have a long time before I can start bding again. Stomach feels weird though but after negaive test yesterday must just be one of those things sent to try me! Wishing everyone a good weekend!

2ticks · 09/06/2004 16:45

CD12 today and the OPK kit had two strong lines, so looks like it's DP's lucky night tonight (and probably tomorrow night too just for extra luck!). Will then start the 2 week wait. My cycle ranges from 24-28 days, so I will try and wait for the whole 28 days before testing - I know I will be very tempted to test before then though.

Have a good weekend everyone.

BeckiF · 09/06/2004 18:03

Hi - just an exceedingly very long shot, but does anyone know what an implantation pain feels like. Obviously I've got no AF still and dp and I have been getting busy recently (as we normally do!! ). I do the odd pg test and it's ALWAYS a BFN but I'd be interested to know if anyone can remember an implantation pain? Is it like a pain you sometimes feel on ovulation?? I've had these pinchypains before and I think I've asked the same question, but no harm in asking again is there!

Staceyk · 09/06/2004 18:31

Bluestar

Your comments have really interested me:
"I've had a late ov and therefore will have a long time before I can start bding again"

Am I missing something why do you have to wait to start bding again? is that where I'm going wrong? me & DH are bding every other day, unless AF. Is this wrong?

ChaCha · 09/06/2004 18:37

Hi BeckiF, you seem in good spirits today, wishing you all the best and a lovely weekend
