When shall I test- please help!

Hi please help going out of my mind. Trying to become pregnant for months and as anxious as everyone else in the same boat. Period due in five days... Cramping, but that's all. When should I test and what brand? Thanks

First response and test the day your period is due.

As pp said, first response (FRER as they're usually called on here) are considered the most reliable.
I'd advise waiting until your period is due, but that makes me a hypocrite as I often test several a day or two early.
