February bus - all aboard for bfps

There doesn't seem to be a February bus yet but that is where I need to be because of longish cycles.

Modest yeah Headspace is good! The guy's (Andy!) voice is very normal and it's all 'we're not really meditating, so just try this and see how it works'. Much better than whale music and 'soothing' voices, IMO. Been doing it in the morning as soon as I wake up though and it's hard to stay awake, so need to find another time of day to do it!

No advice for the unwining I'm afraid. I've been trying to think about dry January but I just can't bring myself to actually do it. There are much better women than me out there!

Had the mother of all period cramps this afternoon at work - just the one, but still.
No sign of AF yet though. I just need to bleed and be done with it so cycle 3 can commence! Bastard periods.

No Af here either. I've never been so keen for it to arrive!!

I decided to invest in some evening primrose oil capsules. They're like horse tablets - huge!!! I showed my dh and he actually checked the label to make sure they weren't suppositories!

I took 4 evening primrose oil capsules this cycle and omg the EWCM!! Praying to all fertility deitys that it has the same results next cycle when dh is back!
I agree though giraffes totally look like horse pills 😂

I seem to have ov on cd14 which is a bit concerning because now it looks like dh will be home on what'll be cd16 next cycle! But I may ov a bit later, right?? Please say yes 😄 He can't travel halfway around the world and miss it by 2 days!

Hi theaks They help your body produce more egg-white cervical mucous, the fertile stuff You only take them up until ovulation. For me, they also helped bring ovulation forward by a day. I think cough medicine works in the same way.

celen quick update on the GP. went Friday and requested a female doc. told her I've been TTC for over a year and had 2 mc's . She organised some blood tests to check I'm ovulating, and other things like thyroid and blood count etc. She has also organised a scan just to check all ok. She said they wouldn't normally do this at this stage as I am getting pregnant - but she was sympathetic and said she understood that the stress around it all needs alleviating and this would hopefully reassure me everything is ok. i do feel a bit calmer. Definitely worth a shot. Just glad I'll have some doubts addressed hopefully. Anyway, acupuncture this week and I've started epo and have cough medicine at the ready. god help me if one of those swimmers dsnt make it thru this month!!

Positive opk today but I'm full of cold, Dtd is the last thing on my mind and we are are both on completely different shifts. I get home from work at 7pm tonight but DH is working nights.

According to ovia we've Dtd twice in this cycle but that was really early on.

I'm STILL waiting for AF. CD 30. If we'd DTD any time lately I might be starting to get excited, but unless it's immaculate conception then it's just my stupid cycle!!!

Thanks Lucinda, she was very helpful! I'm not seeing mine for a few weeks so I'll be interested to know what mine suggests, if anything. I also requested a female GP, IME (from ttc DS which took two years) they're more sympathetic than make GPs.

On CD18 today, of a 28 day cycle (I think). Ttc #1, MC Dec 14 and Aug 15. I'm hopeful that Jan is my month but have a feeling it won't.

CD9 to day and going to start POAS on the opks tomorrow. Hoping not to show as too fertile though until next weekend due to DH and I feeling a bit poorly at the moment!

DP is travelling all the way home from work away tonight so we can have sex.

I thought I ovulated right after my period but everything is telling me that I'm wrong. Whoops!

So I'm much more likely to ovulate when he goes and is away again. Bugger!

I really miss him as well. I hate taking the bins out.

Right this might be TMI and very very nosey but on your fertile days do you have sex once or just carry on like a normal session? DP and I have different ideas on this.

Been trying 4 months now.
I don't know many of the abbreviations as I've never joined a conception thread before, fell pregnant on wedding night with dd1 and second month with dd2! This one has come as a bit of a shock. Period due on Thursday.
Anyone else hoping to not get their period this week??

To be honest, we're just carrying on as usual. It worked the first two times.

If twice is usual for you then just go for it.

Though they may be some technical reason why that might not be a good idea. I'm not very good at this TTC rules and lingo.

CD10 yesterday so the great DTD marathon has begun! I'm aiming for every day for the next 5 days. Armed with pre seed and EPO. Feel exhausted just thinking about it!

Tiny that's mad. Dh and I haven't dtd since conceiving dd so this is going to be hard work just doing it a couple of times a month!
Af finally arrived last night for me. Planning to test on 22/2 if the next one isn't here by then!
