Very mixed emotions here today...got peak fertility indication this morning which is great but then 5 minutes later my husband got a call to say his mum is in hospital having had a stroke. She's doing ok, and in the best place and i'm really worried about her, but there's also a part of me cursing the fact that it's today as i don't think DH will be in the mood later which means this cycle will be lost. Then i feel awful for thinking that too... :-( i really hope that doesn't make me an awful person?!

No hun,u are not being an awful person.i would be feeling exactly the same.waiting another cycle would be a nightmare.maybe u could be lucky if u give him a massage (comforting him abt his mom) all touchy touchy saying how sorry u r and that it will be ok.

Mimi i did, took it this morning. I was expecting the assistant at the pharmacy to ask why i wanted the low dose one, but nah, she only asked if i wanted the dispersible ones or ones you just swallow. Hope it works!! Got a box of 56 so that will keep me going a few cycles lol

So I'm about 6 days late now ladies, did a digi clear blue and still negative, extra tired and still feel sicky with metal taste in mouth still.... I've not been trying to convince myself I am and have been trying to put it at back of my mind but today I have more creamy discharge same as what I would get around ovulation time,, do you guys think it might still be too early to tell, yesterday I was so emotional I think I cried three times yesterday afternoon:-(

I have no idea, have you been taking any vitamins? ive heard some can make your cycles longer

Hi no I've not been taking any vitamins, I inow they say should take the pregnacare ones etc but until I know..., I was going to start them when I found out though... Maybe just a very light af xx

You get ones to help conceive. They increase your cycle. Id keep trying and if no bfp soon id call dr see whats happening?

Thanks for all your reassuring words ladies!! MIL is doing ok, can't remember words on ocassion but other than that seems to have come out unscathed so far!! It helped that she actually asked if we had any news yet(she knows we're trying) and said it would make her day so perfect excuse to still dtd!! :-)

AjP, are they sticks for a CB fertility monitor? I've read they don't work like regular tests.

DHs mum is actually doing very well so I'm very reassured by that, but nervous too as a stroke is just one of those unknown quantities, you know? Hormones all over the place is a good thing here...bump!!

DD was sick a couple of times this evening, poor thing - really hope it's not a vomiting bug, could do not to catch that at the moment!
