Hi (big wave)
So you clicked on here cos you were looking for me (I'm flattered!) or the title seemed interesting!
I'm aware it doesn't really explain anything but we are bunch of lovely ladies all TTC and going ever so slightly crazy with it! For more info see our original thread here -

www.mumsnet.com/Talk/conception/2412386-TTC-anxious-over-early-pregnancy-possible-symptoms?msgid=56357000#56357000

And our most recent thread here -

www.mumsnet.com/Talk/conception/2480630-So-its-John-Wayne-vs-Les-Dawson-in-The-Great-British-Pee-Off-and-Prtys-judging-get-ready-to-be-basted-lovelies?pg=1&order=

We are symptoms spotters extraordinaire - you name it we've had it, real and/or imagined Confused
We are here to help, we are all supportive, we laugh, rant, cry, joke, rage, smile, and comfort together. Be you a lurker or poster (established or new) then you are very welcome here. We only have a few rules:

  1. No judgement - we all lead different lives and have different standards and that is fine. You wanna get wasted everyday of TWW, that's fine. You wanna abstain completely, that's fine. We need support, not judgement.
  2. No feeling stupid - we've all had those months where we definitely think we are pg 110% convinced and then AF turns up, don't feel bad about it, it happens. Also we all have different levels of knowledge so no question is stupid apart from the one you don't ask.
  3. On this thread there is no such thing as TMI - we are all adults and we all know how miraculous and amazing... and downright disgusting our bodies can be, it's fine. Share what you want, we will not be fazed.

So that's it, jump in and FX'd for all my lovelies xx

Thanks prty and pirsy I'm keeping my fingers crossed for you guys this month.. We're definitely due a BFP on this thread!

Still feel awful today, I think i feel so bad as its a forced AF and as its been so long. I'm going into work late today as calling at hospital for CD2 bloods. I've also got my X-ray booked in for Monday.. Glad it's all actually happening and at least it's progress although feel really nervous too. What if it's more than PCOS? I'm not sure how I'd cope with anything else... Yes I'm one of those people who worries about everything before it's happened!! Confused

snowy1982 · 23/02/2016 10:00

glitter i am one of those people myself, i have contingency plans for every eventuality already in place

snowy1982 · 23/02/2016 18:52

Well DH got his results today and it's all good. Apparently his swimmers are in the top 4% for 'swimming strength' (his words not mine), his count is slightly on the low side but still within normal range. Have to wait for referral now for further investigations for me, but so far it's all been positive

PrtyPsn · 23/02/2016 19:24

That's good news snowy I bet he was very proud haha!
I'm going symptom crazy, ladies!! Getting a pain under my bum cheeks, at the top of my legs... very weird!!

OP posts:
snowy1982 · 23/02/2016 19:44

He is strutting around with a big grin on his face Grin

Pirsy1 · 23/02/2016 20:50

That's brill snowy! Good for him!

Poppy I think that if it is more than PCOS then at least you will know and can do something about it. Ive come to think that the not knowing part is the worst! Hopefully all your other tests will be fine though and you're worrying for nothing!

PrtyPsn · 23/02/2016 20:58

glitter I don't know how I missed your post. Try not to worry, you will be getting the right help regardless of what the results say, lovely x

glitterpoppy · 24/02/2016 07:25

Ahh thanks ladies.. I know you're all right, I'm just stressing.

Good news about the sperm sample snowy my DH still has his to do!

snowy1982 · 24/02/2016 20:29

Yeah it was glitter although now the good news glow has faded and am back to worrying about what else could be stopping us conceiving.

PrtyPsn · 24/02/2016 20:33

Try not to worry too much snowy if there is an issue then you are on the right track to getting support :)

OP posts:
glitterpoppy · 24/02/2016 21:45

You are exactly like me snowy try looking at the positives that if there is anything, they can sort it out then you will be on your way to that BFP!

More baby bombs on Facebook tonight.. Yes BOMBS.. Grr annoying!

PrtyPsn · 24/02/2016 21:51

Waaahhh glitter that's so frustrating!! I met a 'we only did it once' pregnant woman today through her friends, really hard to act sane!!
Slight brown smear tonight, CD26 :/ I've had a 28 day cycle before but normally go around 31, don't feel like AF is imminent...

OP posts:
Pirsy1 · 25/02/2016 08:25

Prty Ive got my fingers crossed for you. Your AF needs to stay away!

Dont you want to just give those super fertile people a shake sometimes and tell them how lucky they are! I do really think that fertility can be seen as an achievement and some people are quite smug about it. I definitely feel like a failure for not being able to get pregnant.

Am feeling a bit pre-AFy - just feeling hungry and not sleeping well. I cant be too upset as this time 2 weeks ago DH was on nights and we didnt DTD much.

PrtyPsn · 25/02/2016 17:38

Thanks pirsy I'm snappy today, constantly peeing, a few minor cramp like twinges... don't know what to think!
Don't forget pre-AF can also be early pg symptoms, still hopeful for you this cycle x

hippybird · 26/02/2016 10:56

Hi all! Just checking in. Seems like it's all go here at the mo!
Prty - I hope Af stays away for you!
poppy although it's stressful, at least you are on your way to knowing more, and they may find a solution, not a problem. Fingers crossed for you! Remind me, have you had your sperm analysis done?
Snowy yay that the SA was all good. I bet he's puffed up like a pigeon!
My OH has to get his done before we get more investigation done, and I know he doesn't want to do it. TBH, I'm not sure how enthusiastic he is about the whole thing. I think he's worried about it affecting our quality of life, just as we're actually getting our shit together as adults. Don't get me wrong, if it happened, he would be happy, and he knows we would make it work, but I know I am the one pushing this thing along. I hope I can persuade him to go for a SA.

(oops! A long absence and then a long post from me! Soz!)

hippybird · 26/02/2016 10:57

Neetie - you've gone quiet. Is everything OK?

hippybird · 26/02/2016 10:57

and kitten - are you OK?

PrtyPsn · 26/02/2016 17:47

Hi hippy we always expect a long post from you Grin
Sorry OH isn't more on board, I'm sure once it happens he wouldn't want it any other way!
Ok, weirdness continues... DBAFD 4 ish and today, well there no other way to say it... my foof smells like... haha... seminal fluid (feels overly polite and British) no DTD this week due to business and I obviously shower daily... can only surmise the scent is coming from inside me (classy!) not sure if it's a good thing or not :/

OP posts:
snowy1982 · 26/02/2016 21:46

prty if scent isn't normal for you then it could be a good sign, you know your body and how it usually is in the run up to AF so it could be a positive sign

PrtyPsn · 26/02/2016 21:49

Can't say I've ever noticed it before snowy except after DTD obviously! I swore I wouldn't test until I was late but it's gonna be really hard to resist this weekend!

OP posts:
glitterpoppy · 27/02/2016 08:35

Hi all.. hippy we've got the SA to do, we've got it at home here then have to drop it off at hospital before I have to go back in the 3 months.OH knows he's got to do it but putting it off abit at minute!

MrsKittenPie · 27/02/2016 15:28

Hi all
Sorry I've been quiet - hippy thanks for asking - I'm fine - just been mega busy and trying not to think about ttc too much - that hasn't really worked! I'm sure your OH will be onboard, they just aren't as stressed about things as we get or just don't show it as much.
prty - I bet you're dying to test! I would be! I was really excited today as sainsburys digital pregnancy tests were on offer so I bought them. I would only ever use a digital test if I had proper lines on a cheapy so they'll probably stay in the drawer forever but hey!

snowy1982 · 27/02/2016 15:58

Had a pamper day today with my 2 sister in laws, good way to relax after this weeks AF disappointment, feeling all chilled out and ready to head into the next cycle

PrtyPsn · 27/02/2016 16:21

Sounds like an amazing day snowy
kitten I would have done the same... frustratingly enough I bought a bumper pack of ICs before Xmas and haven't POAS since!

OP posts:
MrsKittenPie · 27/02/2016 16:30

snowy - a pamper day sounds lovely, just what you need Smile, and chilled out is great for your new cycle.
I had my second acupuncture session on Thursday, she put a needle in my forehead as well as the others in my hands and feet and this made me totally relax, I drifted off and felt like I was floating! This needle stops stress/anxiety apparently. She said next week she may try medical qui gong - or something like that on me but that it might not be needed but she would 'know' when she saw me, so in other words would have a feeling whether the cycle had failed or not then. How strange is that? But if she does do it I'll feel down as I'll think it hasn't worked again so am now stressing out about that! But this qui gong - don't think you spell it like that is like an MOT for the body so who knows, maybe that will kickstart my useless ovaries Grin
