Hi (big wave)
So you clicked on here cos you were looking for me (I'm flattered!) or the title seemed interesting!
I'm aware it doesn't really explain anything but we are bunch of lovely ladies all TTC and going ever so slightly crazy with it! For more info see our original thread here -

www.mumsnet.com/Talk/conception/2412386-TTC-anxious-over-early-pregnancy-possible-symptoms?msgid=56357000#56357000

And our most recent thread here -

www.mumsnet.com/Talk/conception/2480630-So-its-John-Wayne-vs-Les-Dawson-in-The-Great-British-Pee-Off-and-Prtys-judging-get-ready-to-be-basted-lovelies?pg=1&order=

We are symptoms spotters extraordinaire - you name it we've had it, real and/or imagined Confused
We are here to help, we are all supportive, we laugh, rant, cry, joke, rage, smile, and comfort together. Be you a lurker or poster (established or new) then you are very welcome here. We only have a few rules:

  1. No judgement - we all lead different lives and have different standards and that is fine. You wanna get wasted everyday of TWW, that's fine. You wanna abstain completely, that's fine. We need support, not judgement.
  2. No feeling stupid - we've all had those months where we definitely think we are pg 110% convinced and then AF turns up, don't feel bad about it, it happens. Also we all have different levels of knowledge so no question is stupid apart from the one you don't ask.
  3. On this thread there is no such thing as TMI - we are all adults and we all know how miraculous and amazing... and downright disgusting our bodies can be, it's fine. Share what you want, we will not be fazed.

So that's it, jump in and FX'd for all my lovelies xx

Thanks prty and snowy!! I think you're right! Being a hippybird, I like to keep things natural, and I feel really burned by what happened with my hips (long story short, developed acute pain syndrome in both hips, was put on medication For epilepsy, which works with nerve pain, which helped, but I became medically addicted, and couldn't come off for ages, and then had to wean myself off veeeerrrryyy slowly. That was why we didn't try for more after our ds). But you're right, I'll go to the docs this month, and get the ball rolling!
I think what's getting me down is that I feel like I've been putting my life on hold for this! I know you've all talked about that problem.
Travelling back from my sis - who's life as so hectic, with 3 already, and another on the way, I've got that feeling you get on holiday sometimes - I need to sort my life out a bit. No more putting things on hold. I'm going to get on with my life, keep busy with other things, and just try to be less obsessed with this TTC. I'll still stay on here, but am going to try and put less pressure on myself.

PrtyPsn · 21/02/2016 11:18

hippy that sounds like it was a tough time, I can understand your reluctance - it's a fine balance and only you can decide what's best for you x
CD23 for me, TWW is dragging!! Seem to have a lot of CM for the past few days and some bloating but very much doubt these are any kind of symptom!

OP posts:
MrsKittenPie · 21/02/2016 11:31

hippy - totally understand what you mean. It's horrible putting our lives on hold for ttc and it gets me down too. I think the putting less pressure on yourself thing is definitely a good thing, I'm going to try that too.
prty- tww always drags doesn't it?! Hope you can distract yourself a bit.
Anyone testing soon? We could do with some lovely bfp pics to keep us going.
Cd10 here - bboooorrrriiinngggggg. Have been away from dh for a few days and get back tomorrow so the dtd begins - what's the point though really. Though got my second acupuncture session on Thursday which I'm looking forward to.

snowy1982 · 21/02/2016 11:55

CD 27 here but doubt there'll be any testing this month. Have had some cramping the last couple days so think AF is imminent (although have also had a dodgy tummy last couple days so that could explain the cramping). In other news DH is leaving his sample in for testing tomorrow morning so should have news on that front soon

PrtyPsn · 21/02/2016 12:28

Still holding out hope for you snowy you're not out til she shows!
kitten there is lots of point to DTD, it may feel like nothing's happening but it only takes that one time, lovely x
I'm a 32 day cycle so a good 10 days til AF is due... I did say I wouldn't test until I'm late but might see how I feel next weekend

Hi all, have had abit of cramping today and just noticed a slight orange / red tinge when I went to the toilet.. I think AF is FINALLY on its way!
My DH has to do his sample too soon snowy, we've got it at home for him to do.

Keep your chin up kitten it's always worth DTD, it just takes that 1 time, that's what I keep saying anyway!

FX for you this time prty

snowy1982 · 21/02/2016 15:27

glitter we have it to do at home too, but his appointment to drop it in is for tomorrow morning.

prty you're right, I'm not out until she shows up, but am not getting my hopes up this month, the cramping is a fairly good sign she is on her way

PrtyPsn · 21/02/2016 16:21

Oooo glitter keep us posted
I haven't spoke to OH about the possibility of him being tested... I'm fairly sure the problem lies with me... then sometimes I think maybe there isn't a problem - the early mc/late chemical last year shows that we can get pg... it's all so confusing!

OP posts:
snowy1982 · 21/02/2016 16:50

prty it's so much easier for the men folk to get tested though, 1 sample and that's it, there's so many more tests for us to go through, it's easier to rule out problems with them before moving on to the other tests

PrtyPsn · 21/02/2016 17:13

I know what you mean, I was more thinking that he's pretty sensitive and I think he'd find the whole thing a bit upsetting, kinda feel like he's failed or something :( there's two more cycles before it's been a year so FXd we won't get that far

OP posts:
snowy1982 · 21/02/2016 17:17

Men and their bits, they really can be sensitive about it. The reality is there is more chance that problems are with the woman and not man, but they don't seem to get it. Our doctor send us for tests at the same time (my first set just happened to get done before DH) so at least we are going through it together, think that helps with DH

PrtyPsn · 22/02/2016 07:43

Had a very very tiny patch of peachy/pink coloured CM this morning... probably in the vein of something you wouldn't notice unless you're TTC!

OP posts:
Pirsy1 · 22/02/2016 08:16

Prty do you think it might be implantation? I really hope so.

Last month I had a really short cycle (25 days) and now Im day 30 this cycle and nothing. I have tested and obvs is negative so just waiting for AF to show! Husband has said he will go to GP now to do his test which is good and we are getting a puppy when we move into our new house.

PrtyPsn · 22/02/2016 08:22

Don't know pirsy feel a little nauseous this morning, a few twinges too, no idea what to think... the only time I had mid cycle spotting was the cycle which ended in early mc but I feel like I have implantation pains every cycle lol!

OP posts:
PrtyPsn · 22/02/2016 08:22

And congrats on the puppy! I'm staying positive for you too - sometimes it just takes a while for BFPs to show up so you're not out yet!

OP posts:
Pirsy1 · 22/02/2016 08:43

Sounds promising Prty. When is AF due? It will be a hard wait this month!

No Im not out yet ... although we managed to DTD lots in the early part of cycle, when I thought FW was, but not much after because DH was on nights and we've both been exhausted. If I ov'd later than I thought then I think we'll be lucky to get a BFP. Time will tell!

PrtyPsn · 22/02/2016 08:45

AF due around 1st March, this TWW already seems like it's lasted forever!! FXd pirsy keep us updated!!

OP posts:
snowy1982 · 22/02/2016 11:17

Pirsy oh a puppy yeah Grin I have 2 pups and wouldn't be without them

glitterpoppy · 22/02/2016 14:44

I have a 10 month old puppy at the minute.. He makes me smile when all this TTC gets difficult!

AF is in full force today.. Feel like I've been run over but just glad it's finally here and I can hopefully start to get things on track! Bloods tomorrow, also phoned to book in my X-ray but they've got to phone me back with an appointment!

PrtyPsn · 22/02/2016 15:28

Really pleased things are getting moving for you glitter though not that you're suffering :(

OP posts:
snowy1982 · 22/02/2016 17:55

Well that's me officially out this cycle Sad It's amazing how even though I have been saying to DH since Saturday that AF was on the way I am still gutted. Away for some puppy snuggles to try and cheer myself up

PrtyPsn · 22/02/2016 18:12

Awww sorry snowy grab yourself a pizza and a blanket and get snuggled!

OP posts:
snowy1982 · 22/02/2016 18:51

Gonna take pups for a big long walk to burn off my disappointment and frustration, then I will be snuggling. DH should be getting his results tomorrow so at least things are still moving

PrtyPsn · 23/02/2016 07:48

Hmm another small patch of pinkish cm this morning and a few very minor cramp type niggles... DBAFD 8

OP posts:
Pirsy1 · 23/02/2016 08:18

Snowy I know the disappointment ... even when you know AF is coming there's still a tiny part that keeps hoping. Fingers crossed for your DH's results today.

Poppy Im glad that your investigations are getting going now - that is a positive thing. Hope AF goes soon.

Prty this sounds promising. I will quietly get excited on your behalf. We are due a BFP!
