Hi (big wave)
So you clicked on here cos you were looking for me (I'm flattered!) or the title seemed interesting!
I'm aware it doesn't really explain anything but we are bunch of lovely ladies all TTC and going ever so slightly crazy with it! For more info see our original thread here -

www.mumsnet.com/Talk/conception/2412386-TTC-anxious-over-early-pregnancy-possible-symptoms?msgid=56357000#56357000

And our most recent thread here -

www.mumsnet.com/Talk/conception/2480630-So-its-John-Wayne-vs-Les-Dawson-in-The-Great-British-Pee-Off-and-Prtys-judging-get-ready-to-be-basted-lovelies?pg=1&order=

We are symptoms spotters extraordinaire - you name it we've had it, real and/or imagined Confused
We are here to help, we are all supportive, we laugh, rant, cry, joke, rage, smile, and comfort together. Be you a lurker or poster (established or new) then you are very welcome here. We only have a few rules:

  1. No judgement - we all lead different lives and have different standards and that is fine. You wanna get wasted everyday of TWW, that's fine. You wanna abstain completely, that's fine. We need support, not judgement.
  2. No feeling stupid - we've all had those months where we definitely think we are pg 110% convinced and then AF turns up, don't feel bad about it, it happens. Also we all have different levels of knowledge so no question is stupid apart from the one you don't ask.
  3. On this thread there is no such thing as TMI - we are all adults and we all know how miraculous and amazing... and downright disgusting our bodies can be, it's fine. Share what you want, we will not be fazed.

So that's it, jump in and FX'd for all my lovelies xx

Hi hippy - thank you. Yes the cry helped! I haven't told dh- he'd think I'd lost the plot! Yes I'm 38 too, yes I hope it will for us Smile. Sorry to hear you're having such a bad time at work, hope you manage to de-stress

FuzzyOwl · 04/02/2016 23:50

Hi everyone and I hope you are ok. I also hate the motherhood challenge - am definitely inclined to upload pictures of my cat instead!

I start fertility acupuncture this week so I will report back about how it goes. AF has finally, finally gone but ovulation isn't due for another ten days so I am hoping I can have a couple of acupuncture sessions by then.

hippybird · 05/02/2016 22:18

Oops! Sorry prty I was way out!!
neetie, are the meds helping at all yet?
Thanks kitten I'm feeling a bit better, thanks.
glitter, have you tested again? Any news?
I'm currently on CD 10, which is usually my ovulation day, at least, the day I get a temp shift, so fingers crossed. We managed to DTD EOD so at least we've done our bit. Hoping we might be able to fit one in tomorrow morning too - hubby currently snoring next to me, so not much chance tonight.
Am determined not to drive myself crazy this 2WW, so please give me a good talking to if I start speculating, worrying, etc...
Xx

glitterpoppy · 06/02/2016 08:22

Hi hippy just tested again this morning and still BFN, I guess that's me out this month. I just need AF to show up now so I can move on Sad

neetie1 · 06/02/2016 10:52

Fingers crossed for you Hippy. I am also on cd10 but usually ovulate around cd20+ so aiming for one in three days at moment and will increase to eod from Wednesday.

Sorry to hear that glitter.

I hope you feel better soon.

Have any of you tried soy to get pregnant?

hippybird · 06/02/2016 23:10

Hiya! Poor you Prty - feel well soon. I'll be there for Yooouuu, when the rain starts to fall, I'll be there for Yooouuu, like I've been there before, etc... Gotta lobe friends!
neetie, glad you're feeling a bit better now. Good luck with tww! I've just joined you!
glitter never heard of soy for fertility, can you elaborate?
My nipples are super sore today! That's a sign I've just ovulated, right? Does anyone know? I'm not speculating... Promise! Tra-la-la-la!

FuzzyOwl · 06/02/2016 23:17

Soy is supposed to work as a natural clomid hippy and whilst I have never used it, I have heard lots of positive stories and plan on giving it a go next cycle if I still don't get my BFP.

MrsFlowers82 · 06/02/2016 23:56

Hi all. Sorry for not reading or replying to anyone properly. My mum found out this week that her cancer has spread. I am all over the place. I probably won't be here that much, TTC is the last thing on my mind. I hope you are all OK xxx

FuzzyOwl · 07/02/2016 00:19

Oh MrsFlowers I am so sorry to hear that. Thinking of your mum and your family. Take care and I really hope it can be treated and the pain managed. Xxx

MrsKittenPie · 07/02/2016 08:42

glitterpoppy · 07/02/2016 21:30

It's my hospital appointment tomorrow.. Starting to feel nervous but just hope they can sort me out!

hippybird · 08/02/2016 06:53

So so sorry Flowers, sending you hugs and love! Xx

snowy1982 · 08/02/2016 07:28

Sorry to hear about your mum flowers.

glitter try not to be too nervous about your appointment, just think of it as another step in the right direction.

Am officially into the TWW again, well today is the last day of fertile window but both DH and myself have been struck down with some bug or something, we've managed to DTD a couple times in the FW, but think if I was to suggest it again today he might actually cry. Add to that the fact that my granny has been taken into hospital and neither of us is feeling at all like it. Nothing to do now but keep fingers crossed and wait

glitterpoppy · 08/02/2016 07:31

Thanks snowy sorry to hear you've been ill and about your granny.. Keep your chin up. Hugs x

glitterpoppy · 08/02/2016 20:41

Hi all, had my hospital appointment today. I think it went well, trying to think positive anyway that things are getting looked into. They have given me something to force a bleed now which I have to take for 10 days, then the first day of my cycle I have to ring and book an appointment for like a X-ray of my womb where they inject dye into me basically to check there's no blockages. Then the second day of my cycle I need to go have my bloods done. DH also has a sperm assessment to do, but least he can do this in his own time and drop it in! Then I have to go back in 3 months to discuss everything and then they will see what they want to do to move forward however she first mentioned clomid but then said they may recommend ovarian drilling to sort my PCOS out as apparently success rates are very high. Sounds very scary!!

MrsKittenPie · 08/02/2016 22:46

snowy - hope your granny is okay. We only managed a couple of times this fw too but as they say it only takes once - fingers crossed!
glitter - that all sounds very thorough- it must be good to feel like things are moving towards your bfp. I was a bit Shock at ovarian drilling- sounds complicated!!
Anyone testing soon? I'm 7dpo today so the madness has kicked in, I need the distraction of someone poas Grin

MrsKittenPie · 09/02/2016 20:08

Where is everyone? Sad

glitterpoppy · 09/02/2016 20:24

Hi kitten.. I'm not sure.. Has everyone deserted us?

Day 2 of taking the provera today.. Got to take it for 10 days to force AF to come.

How're you kitten?

MrsKittenPie · 09/02/2016 21:09

Hey glitter - I think they have Sad
I bet it's good to know that the ball is rolling now and soon you'll get af and then get on with your tests, keep us updated. I'm excited for you!
I'm okay thank you. Am 8dpo today, af usually arrives about 12dpo. Am in a really bad mood today so the hormones are there ready for af arrival. I've got my first acupuncture appointment on Monday - I keep worrying about how much it's going to cost but then I have to give it a try for my own peace of mind. At least it'll hopefully be early enough in my cycle to do what it's supposed to do Hmm
