Ovulation 1st... neg test and no AF

Hello All,

So this month I wanted to increase my chances so I started to chart and temp.

According to my chart I Ovulated on the 1st December, I took a test this morning and it is negative so what I am asking is what is the longest luteal phase you can have before AF comes as I just want to get started on next months cycle!

Apparently anything over 16 days is rare.
Looks like I am in the same situation as you. AF is 3 days late but testing negative.

I'm in exactly the same boat too!! Have been TTC with clomid (3rd cycle) and had a test last week at the docs who thought I ovulated on 1st Dec. Am currently spending a fortune on piss sticks and still all negative!! Doc said I can go in on Monday for a blood test if still no af by then. But MONDAY!!! That's sooooo far away!! Driving me crazy 😱😱😱

Jaffacakey - some ladies don't produce enough of the HCG hormone to make a positive test so maybe insist on a blood test next week too. I agree with Ellabella, it's super unlikely to be over 14-16 days. Have you got any other symptoms??

Oh Runner that does seem like ages away

I have a lot of pregnancy symptoms which I am trying desperately to ignore until I get a BFP. I think I'm going to go to Boots today though as I've read on a lot of the threads that they are very good & so far I've only used the cheapy strips. Got two xmas parties this weekend though so would really like to know if I can drink

Exactly!! Worst time of year to be unsure if you can drink or not!! And I am also desperately trying to ignore symptoms - sometimes I think I'm just willing them to be symptoms rather than they actually are!!! Urgggghhhh!!! Let me know how you get on at Boots! Will keep my fingers crossed for you x

On the plus side I don't drink :) (well I only drink champagne) so I do not have that issue and I am driving on Christmas day. I just want to know now please see my test from today.

I did a pissy stick this morning (whilst nauseous) & still got a BFN
DH gave me a big hug before work & looked a bit confused that I wasn't more upset but tbh I don't believe the test. I feel pregnant (if that makes any sense) & I just keep getting more symptoms.

A couple of nights ago I woke up having an orgasm! How weird is that . Never happened to me before but apparently it's fairly common in pregnancy.

Am I being a head case? Should I be believing the pissy sticks???

Absolutely no news from me except I'm becoming increasingly psycho! Another BFN this morning. To be honest I agree with you, I'm not losing hope until I see AF as I totally feel preggers. Just wish I knew one way or the other - this is driving me nuts. We are both probably head cases but we also know our bodies so let's not lose hope yet 😍😍

I'm glad you've said that Runner. I told my sister & she basically said I should see the doctor as I must be having a hysterical pregnancy because there's no way you could get morning sickness that early 🙄

I'd argue with her but she always knows best! Lol

so annoyed I took a tesco test this morning followed instructions correctly etc and this is what I got what a waste of money and time :(

Can u post a pick of your chart? It is maybe reading ov day incorrectly. Are your temps still high or have they dropped?
