Join us. It's a boat. Full of okp's and symptom spotting and insanity! But also much love and support! We were supposed to start next month, we already have a few bfp's! Our dps don't know what's hit them!

Bunch what kind of things are you taking in case morning sickness sets in? Maybe plain crackers of some sort just in case?

Do they offer the downs test regardless of age etc?

Starky - I managed to do myself an injury the other day wiggling my legs in the air and trying to get some pillows under my bum/hips. Not glamorous at all!!

Ladies should I poas when I get home or is it a waste of time in the evening??

I only test with first wee. I figure that if I'm testing early I'm only likely to get a very feint positive, and that's with first wee. Just me though.

Can I ask if you continue to eat and drink as normal when ttc? Or are you careful? I used to be careful for tww, then eat as normal. I've now just given up, and do as I please, but do worry in the dead of night that I could be hurting my baby if I've caught.

bunch I was reading up earlier on the tests offered at scans! I'm sure the time will fly past and it will be scan day in no time!

pink I think they offer them regardless now. I found it quite comfortable that, Dh was mystified and refused to join me in a bum in the air dance! I had to Google if it was ok to go for a wee after ttc sex though before I could bring myself to go! (From what I read, it makes no difference, as sperm would already be on their journey, still had to make sure though. ...and waited half an hour! ) I have to keep telling myself I'm not even ovulating yet! But I suppose I'm impatient because Dh has an 18 hour shift tomorrow so will be out from half 6 am till about 4 am, so I know tomorrow we've got zero chance, and Thursday will be pushing it too!

How many days dpo are people testing from?

Starky I panic about going to the loo afterwards too, or that if I stand up all the sperm is going to come out!

I guess so Pink, I wouldn't consider 30 to be high risk age and as they can tell from bloods if you need further testing they're right to offer it to everyone.

Drink the first few weeks it's only a blastocyst, what you eat or drink won't be passed to it so you're safe until you get your bfp.

Starky.. If I remember correctly I think we have similar cycles... Ovia says 4 days until my fertile window.. Should I start okps from now??

Yes, we're pretty much cycle sisters bub I'm 2 days off my fertile window according to ovia, I did a test yesterday where I got a very faint line, I've dtd today and then I'll test again tomorrow and dtd Thursday. Then aiming to dtd Friday or Saturday, definitely on Sunday and fx I might get in there on Monday, but I doubt it because he'll probably be working. He's out so much this week now I'm trying to catch him ha between waking up and actually getting up!

bunch I read somewhere (a while ago) that getting a big bag of lollies (like chuba chubs) can be helpful too, something to do with the sugar and the having something in your mouth which settles your stomach/makes your enzymes realise your hungry if you're feeling sick.

Bubba I'd say yeah get testing now - ovia can get it wrong.

I'm 7-8 dpo pink and I'm all over the testing!

Bunba, I second that you should start testing now! Pretty sure Ovia has my fertile week as a week later than it actually is, so I think it can be wrong sometimes. No harm in testing anyway!

Thanks Shelb. Difficult because I'm not confident of when I ovulated, but I'm going to hold out to test towards the end of the month.

I'm do think you should test pink ovia goes off certain algorithms which may not yet be in tune with your cycle, certain data input will produce a certain result, it can only really be more accurate the longer you've been doing it. It's why I decided to test from yesterday.

Going to do my absolute best to hold off prego testing until af is actually due fat chance which won't be till the first week of Jan.

I don't eat shellfish or a lot of soft cheese, and I don't usually have caffeine, but I've already decided that I'm going to have a couple of glasses of champagne or wine over Christmas. I don't drink much alcohol as it is so it won't alert the media if I don't iykwim. Come what may!

Well say 28 and possible signs of AF coming tomorrow. If it stays away I will test in Thursday but not feeling hopeful anymore.

I'm definitely going to continue with the OPK tests Starky for at least the rest of this week and over the weekend. At least then I'll have more of a feel for what's going on as at the minute I'm not sure what my body is doing! Am also going to try holding off pregnancy testing till AF is due or (hopefully) late.

Same here bubba, day 28, expecting AF anytime...feel bloated (although that might have been my big lunch ) and still 'wet' ( tmi!)...feeling ever so slightly crampy now too :'-(

That's what I thought too pink I've put in the previous dates of tracked periods into ovia but obviously didn't have any other info so it's still a gamble, the good thing is, the more info we input, the more fine tuned it can get, I've just done an okp so will go have a gander at it shortly.

I've been watching pregnancy test live videos all day on YouTube! How sad am I!?

I done my okp... Very faint line. So hopefully it'll just keep getting stronger over the next few days.. I've got my Xmas party on Friday but I'll defo be drinking until I get a BFP

Basically yes pink it's awesome! I'm planning on doing a lot of video logging (just for private) I got a video camera for my birthday last year (not that I was thinking ahead or planning and plotting, oh no! ) so I'very been getting my desktop computer set up in my craft room ready so I can put everything on there. It started because I have basically no pictures/video from our wedding last year. I was sooooo gutted that I decided that if I ever got pregnant, I was going to document it from the word go!
