Join us. It's a boat. Full of okp's and symptom spotting and insanity! But also much love and support! We were supposed to start next month, we already have a few bfp's! Our dps don't know what's hit them!

Welcome Norris88 and congratulations on your wedding! I got married in May, feels like an age ago and yesterday all at the same time!

My ovia and mydays are at odds. So I've decided to keep on with the okp's every afternoon to see if I get a peak! And we'll just keep dtd!

I'm 29, Dh is 37 (but looks much younger, the bastard!) I've got all sorts going on in my insides today, feels like I've got a ghost kicking about in there from my ribs down to my nethers! So very odd!

We'll get there guys! Let's try and not feel disheartened, it's so confusing and stressful and bloody frustrating not knowing what my body is playing at, but I've decided after my meltdown earlier I'm going to try and not concentrate on the negative of it too much.

But it's so nice knowing I can come here and weep and wail and moan and somebody will tell me to have a cry, give me a virtual cuddle, and then kick me up the arse with a positive, then I remember the good! Xmas Smile

Thanks for the welcome guys! Runner thanks for your reply! Here hoping for something positive even if it's a sign of a regular cycle! Awaiting blood test results for thyroid etc at the moment so just got to wait it out X

Oh my god Shelb!! I skip a day and I miss all the excitement...congratulations on your bfp!! And runner on your big fat can't ignore that result digi test!!

CD31 for me, still no AF...thought it was imminent but now I'm not so sure...I'm 99.9% certain this isn't my month and would have waited a few more days but I'll have to test tomorrow as we have a party tomorrow night and I obviously won't drink if I am upduffed...I'm putting off testing though as until I get the bfn there's still a teeny bit of hope Confused Keep flipping between hoping I am, convincing myself there's no chance and wishing AF would hurry up, then freaking out at the thought I might be!!

Only 'symptoms' left are back pain, weird twinges in my hip area and the occasional shooting boob pain, but all of these could easily be AF...

Elle I'm not at all stressed. I've several friends who have conceived their first after 42.
I have a theory that you have a hormone surge around 40 which I'm sure is twaddle, but Im sticking to it.

Drink I don't know about a serge in fertility at 40 but I have read somewhere that women can get a serge of fertility before menopause.

Agree with runner pee on something blue Preferably a prego test but feel free to also mark your Dh, your pets or your bathroom counter while you're at it!

I did a okp and just got my darkest yet test of the week! Wtf!

Congratulations! So lovely to come back to this thread at the end of this week and see some BFPs!

I think I'm out this month. Definite BFN this morning with FRER. CD 27 and AF due on 22nd so possibly I jumped the gun with testing today but it's not looking good. More disappointed than I thought I'd be which makes me realise that I am ready for this and do really want this. Onwards and upwards, I suppose - it's only our first month.

Just to add that I've had horrendous back pain all week which I put down to walking 10 hours a day in New York and my boobs feel so tender but that's something I usually get when I'm premenstrual. Can't believe how gutted I feel. TTC can make you feel half crazy!

I've woken up feeling a bit peaky and sick , but that might just be because I'm tired and did a jumpy wake up! Might as well get up and dressed! Off to the greengrocers for Saturday soup! And ingredients for my mince pie cake with cinnamon icing! Xmas Smile

Wow!! What a month this is turning out to be!!! How many now?? Three in 2 days!! And it sounds like a lot of you others are not yet out!! And I wouldn't take anything for granted in this game. Apart from me sitting on the bench with AF, getting ready to play again in January.
