Join us. It's a boat. Full of okp's and symptom spotting and insanity! But also much love and support! We were supposed to start next month, we already have a few bfp's! Our dps don't know what's hit them!

Runner there's no denying that one, congratulations!!!!! GrinThanks

Am meant to be testing Saturday, but got a cracking hormonal headache today which is normally indicative of AF so not feeling confident....

LaraG13 · 17/12/2015 14:48

Awww that's a very definite line runner! Congratulations! You're the first person I've seen actually get a BFP on here. Hopefully many more to follow!

Runner05 · 17/12/2015 14:49

Eee thanks Stark, Shelb... Now if I could only convince my OH!Grin

Runner05 · 17/12/2015 14:50

Lara I'm sure there will be.

Shelb don't count you self out. Hormones can do funny things to your body.

Starky no I haven't but I will get myself there once home for sure!! I can't wait to get this new one on or at least my sports bra as my tits are killing me. I've gotta stick a very tight fitting life jacket on in the next few hours, that's gonna hurt!

Runner I found the thread but I'm also on my phone and can't share the link.

Runner05 · 17/12/2015 15:00

Thanks for posting the link Stark Grin

BubbaNo1 · 17/12/2015 15:42

Congrats Runner!!! Thanks

Fab news!!!!

DrWhy · 17/12/2015 15:57

Oooh, this is all so exciting! I love that the thread that wasn't supposed to start trying for another 3 weeks already has a grads thread! It's shows that sometimes it can happen very quickly Smile Not actually sure if that's exciting or terrifying!
Bunch I'm being nosy but can I ask what you do? Will they allow you to continue working offshore now you are pregnant? - obviously don't mind at all if you don't want to say for privacy. You'll have great fun getting into a survival suit in a few months if you need too! Grin

BunchOfBobs · 17/12/2015 16:22

I'm being naughty Dr and not telling them until after this hitch- just incase they don't want me there I want the money . I'm a Micropalaeontologist so I age date the rocks whilst they're drilling and help them steer Smile totally just outted myself oh well Wink

StarkyTheDirewolf · 17/12/2015 16:25

No problem runner

I'm thinking of letting Dh off with dtd today unless he brings it up but then casualy initiating insisting on dtd tomorrow and Sunday. With a possible chance on Monday too. That way he doesn't think I'm being overtly baby dance pushy. My okp was still very faint this morning, wondering whether to do another in an hour or so....Hmmm. opinions? Ovia says ovulation 10 on Sunday.

Hi!

Yeah do one stark but make sure you hold your wee - I use to always get crap ones in the evening and I think that's why.

Debating on doing another IC tonight...

Pinklily1 · 17/12/2015 17:27

Woo hoo Runner that's a definite line! What symptoms did you have in run up to BFP?

Starky - do another OPK, there's no harm in it (apart from us driving ourselves crazy!)

Bunch the sore boobs don't sound good! Your job sounds really interesting though!

Runner05 · 17/12/2015 18:34

Go for it stark, shelb

I think I had my first hormonal outburst today. Two of my friends were coming over next week for tea, cake and presents but then after confirming made other plans to go out with some other friends to the pub. This really pissed me off as 1) they see these other friends all the time and have seen me for maybe 2 hours this year, 2) this is about the millionth time they've ditched me to do something else and 3) they made a point of saying I should come because it would be good to get the "whole gang" together... But I wasn't originally invited... So they didn't consider me part of the "whole gang" they were just trying to placate me because they knew they were ditching me.

Usually I would have said that's ok, I don't mind. Instead I told them that I was very upset and disappointed and basically that if they couldn't be bothered to keep plans with me then I had no interest in rearranging plans with them... I then burst into loud sobbing which made OH jump out of his skin and come running over wondering who's died.
To be fair he's been telling me for ages I should tell them to do one for the way they treat me, he likes them as people, he just thinks they're horrible friends to me.

So now feeling slightly silly and I know that I would never normally have reacted the way I did but a small part of me thinks it's a good thing

BlueGirl1982 · 17/12/2015 18:42

Congrats runner! I'm so happy for you! Hopefully there will be bfps for everyone soon :-)

Your friends sound a bit crap...I appreciate hormones may have caused you to burst into tears, but I hate people changing plans, particularly for what seem like selfish reasons. Stay in, keep their presents and eat all the cake!

Pinklily1 · 17/12/2015 18:47

I second Blue Runner! Letting you down once or twice is one thing but doing it regularly is not on.

Runner05 · 17/12/2015 18:50

Lol, Blue I really am usually very understanding but when someone keeps saying "oh, I love spending time with you, we have to get together more often, we need to meet up soon" and then ditches you every time you make plans, eventually you have to start thinking. Actually, is this person worth the effort I'm putting in?

And had the girls made the plans with their other friends first I would have completely understood and rescheduled but they made plans with me two days before and obviously would just rather spend time with their other friends.

What makes it worse is these are actually my best friends that I have gone way above the call of duty for many times. I was planning to tell them I was pregnant next week, they were the only people I was going to tell. I think I dodged a bullet though as I don't want to share information that important to me with people who don't really give a rats ass.

Runner05 · 17/12/2015 18:52

Ooo, I'm on a right rant aren't I lol Wink

StarkyTheDirewolf · 17/12/2015 19:02

Im completely with you runner and I keep to myself a lot of the time, I literally have like, three friends, and they all live hours away! It's so much easier! Being let down by people is horrible! Definitely think you dodged a bullet, sounds like it would have been all over the group if you'd have told them. like the 40 people who knew I was getting engaged before I did, three of them who let slip, all because of one persons big mouth, slightly bitter? Me? Nooo! but much flowers, and warm cwtches and chocola and flowers for you! Your hormones are bound to be insane anyway AND you've had a totes emosh day! Be kind to yourself. 🎁🐴🍦🍕

Thanks Stark

I mostly keep to myself. Had about 3 friends now have about 0 Confused oh well.

Off to watch Star Wars now. OH is insanely excited. Gonna get pick n mix and pretend crap friends don't exist.

KatOnATinRo0f · 17/12/2015 19:48

Wow congrats runner!! So excited for you!!
All of that obsessive testing was worth it after all!!

I'm feeling really poo today :( for a start I feel like I might be coming down with a cold. Secondly since mid afternoon I've had "AF is on the way" cramps. Problem is I'm only CD25. I came off the pill in August and feel like I have no idea what's going on with my cycle and it's getting more messed up as the months go on. If it's so random I have no chance of catching that little egg if it's even bloody being released at all.

Sorry for moaning. I wish I was going to see start wars with u runner to take my mind off it!!

Newmrs22 · 17/12/2015 19:57

Congrats Runner!!!

Runner05 · 17/12/2015 20:05

Thanks Kat and New

Kat when are you due to test? Not to play devils advocate but a cold can be a symptom Wink

harrietm87 · 17/12/2015 20:11

Wow...I haven't looked at this thread for a day or two and there's about a million new posts!!!

Runner huge congratulations! Wonderful news. Don't waste your time on friends that don't deserve you - be happy with your brilliant news!

Fingers crossed for those still in the game this month - who's testing soon?

I'm getting my coil out on Monday. According to Ovia my next fertile window starts 9 Jan so I'm going to be ready for that - really excited!

KatOnATinRo0f · 17/12/2015 20:13

Ovia says 3 days. It's also saying in CD26 but my last AF started on a Sunday so I count today as CD25. I saw someone with a cold on Monday so I must have caught it from them. And this feels far too like period cramps rather than anything else. Obv I don't know what anything else feels like. But it's not the right sort of cramps. My boobs have been sore when they normally aren't and I am absolutely knackered (is it time to go to bed yet??) but I guess this is just what happens to me now (on the pill for 15 years so anything that used to happen at my period time was "fake")
I got a bit carried away with u testing every day runner and did one yesterday, it was a BFN (but also way too early so was still holding out hope until this afternoon)
Did u get your tests from Amazon? Do you know which ones they were, there's so many! I've been buying sainsburys with the weekly shop but think should get some more/cheaper.
