Thanks everyone for all the support, it's been a crappy day.

EPU did s scan but couldn't see anything as its too early. Saw a very nice doctor who was so kind to me and said as I've bleed a lot, it's mostly likely an early miscarriage rather than ectopic but I need to go in again for more blood/scans to confirm.

She also said my progesterone levels are too low to sustain a pregnancy (were 26) so has referred me to the recurrent miscarriage clinic.

Feel relieved it's not ectopic but pretty down there's something wrong. BFP again this morning but will fade as the week goes on apparently Sad

nuttynutter tender boobs can mean either unfortunately, do you usually have them before AF?

Curly I'm glad you've got a referral to the mc clinic but I'm so so sorry for what you've been through to get to this point Sad I've had an mc and an mmc and they're hugely devastating, heartbreaking no matter how early they happen. I hope your mc passes quickly and that you're able to get some answers and help in the near future. Be kind to yourself and take care x

toadierocks · 05/01/2016 19:56

Baby dust to all those waiting to OV

Celen · 05/01/2016 20:27

I'm doing crap toadie!! Grin I actually have poas-ed today at 8dpo because it was just nagging at me and I'm an idiot. Bfn obviously. I've been obsessively looking at countdown to pregnancy website and generally just obsessing Hmm Shock

Having said that I've been bloaty/gassy, having yellowy cm (tmi sorry!), vivid dreams, strong smells and more niggles. None of those are usual af signs but could just be all coincidence designed to make me obsess further Blush

KitKat1985 · 05/01/2016 21:08

Sorry to hear your news Curly. xx

GinandJazzHands · 05/01/2016 21:30

toadierocks · 05/01/2016 21:57

So far I've had full and tender breasts, extreme thirst, bloating and some of that yellow CM too ...... Maybe it'll be our month hun! I've bought a superdrug test today but locked it in the draw until at least fri (should be sat but heyho)

Sodasoda · 05/01/2016 23:06

I'm so sorry curly. I hope you get some answers.

Good luck to everyone POAS soon! Am still lurking and cheering on more January BFPs! Xx

Annarose2014 · 05/01/2016 23:37

Curly so sorry. However am v glad you're being referred - it could be a simple fix if its hormonal. Fingers crossed it is.

I don't think I'll POAS tomorrow even though it'll be 9dpo (and I did a OPK this evening and its 100% negative so no second surge happening after all apparently).

The reason being that I just don't FEEL anything. No symptoms other than the sore boobs which I'm sure are more a sign of the VitB6 than anything as they've been there since virtually the start. So I think its doubtful and dont want to just have bfn after bfn.

Maybe the day after if I crack.....!

Annarose2014 · 05/01/2016 23:38

Btw today I got a letter from the fertility consultant just to acknowledge that I"m on the waiting list and would get an appt in due course. So at least thats happening in the background.

BindiBarbarella · 06/01/2016 11:08

I'm on CD8 today and I'm going to try SMEP this month. Going to have to try pretty hard as DD goes to bed late and still sleeps in our room and sometimes in our bed. Mustering up the energy is hard sometimes. Good luck to all POASers and all those waiting to OV!

nuttynutter · 06/01/2016 11:11

OP posts:
Annarose2014 · 06/01/2016 11:32

Do you do ov prediction tests? I'd start there. Cos then at least you have more info for the GP.

All the GP can do is Day 3 blood tests (for your hormonal baseline) and then a blood test 7 days after ovulation (to see how its changed). So you have to know what day you ovulated for that to be accurate.

Celen · 06/01/2016 11:46

No toadie, I test daily like an obsessive mug Hmm

9dpo and BFN here, waaaaaah Sad I know it's early days but bollucks, I feel symptoms I don't usually have Hmm

Sorry for af nutty fx 4 nxt month.
bindi we are cd buddies.am on cd9 and waiting to ov!

EnglishExpatUSA · 06/01/2016 16:41

curly very sorry to hear your news. How are you doing now?

10dpo and another BFN. I got a BFP at 9dpo last time and don't have any symptoms this time so I definitely don't think all that DTDing did the trick. Maybe I didn't actually ovulate when I got my positive opk. I haven't had AF since before my DD so I am totally clueless as to what is going on. Going to start temping tomorrow to hopefully shed some more light. Pfffft.

We are overdue a BFP on this thread. Good luck all.

toadierocks · 06/01/2016 17:12

Ah nutty sorry for AF turning up! That sucks, hopefully next month will be the one for you, what Anna said though about OPK is a good start as it will help work out your LP and any charting and or notes that you can take to the GP always is helpful. my cycle is about 32 days when it regulates. I think there is something that can make you ovulate but that's to do with low or no progesterone but it sounds to me like you do ovulate on a regular (albeit long) basis so maybe the GP can sort out something else of your cycle length. In my basic knowledge of it, anything up to a 37 day cycle can be considered ''normal'' Hmm but it advises to see a GP if its over that, its defo worth a little chat with them to see if there's anything they can do to help Flowers

English remember that ovulation occours 24-48 hours after a positive OPK, so maybe you're a few days behind?? FX for you this month

curly how are you today my lovely?

mimi GL with the Ov Grin may the force be with you this month

celen hehe you are having a POAS party!!! so hoping you get your BFP! are you using internet cheapy tests? what sensitivity are they?

Anna good work on the referral/waiting list, hopefully you'll get a BFP soon and you won't need them after all

toadierocks · 06/01/2016 17:17

nutty just remembered it's called Clomid - I know from some of the previous buses that I was on that a few of the ladies were on it - thinks it mainly for hormonal imbalance or PCOS tho so not sure if its applicable

KateMossIsMyQueen · 06/01/2016 17:18

Really sorry to hear that curly and I hope the referral can bring you some answers.

No news from me, only CD6. Had a docs appointment today and I'm being referred for a scan of my ovaries as they think i have a sneaky cyst on my left one. I was quietly smug about a little bit of ovulation pain saving me needing to rely on OPK, but each month is getting worse and is requiring cocodamol at the moment which is definitely not normal! Did not expect her to need to pop a couple of lubed fingers in my fanjo at 8:30am, but DH is away this week so I guess I'll take whatever I can get... She couldn't feel anything which means they're probably absurdly small, but at least I'm getting my money's worth out of the private medical I get from work!

Celen · 06/01/2016 18:04

Yes toadie using the ics but also have foolishly sacrificed 2 FRERS as well for my POAS party for one!

Grin Kate and great you've got some sort of medical cover at work, that must be handy!

mynameiscalypso · 06/01/2016 18:11

Can I join your POAS party Celen? I got a BFN on Sat which would have been 8 DPO so way too early. Did another test this afternoon (12 DPO) although not a very sensitive one and it was probably a BFN but if you tilt your head in a certain way and hold the test in a certain way and stand in the light, it could be a squinter but probably just wishful thinking. I've been having AF like cramps since Sunday so can't help feeling it will be turning up soon but will probably be POAS tomorrow morning too just in case!

Sodasoda · 06/01/2016 18:14

Hi everyone,

curly - thinking of you today Flowers

Sorry for AF nutty

Just thought I'd put my two pence in about those cheapie tests. I've always used them for Ov and been fine but haven't found them to be as sensitive as they claim for pregnancy testing - I got my positive on Sunday with FMU on a FRER and it came up straight away - 14dpo (I think). Later in the day I took another FRER (bfp) and IC (bfn). On 16dpo I took a digital - BFP with FMU - and this says it's only 25ml sensitive. I took another IC and it was such a squinter that if I was only testing using that I would have thrown it away and chalked it up as bfn. It's only today - 17dpo - that I got what I'd actually call a BFP with FMU using an IC.

And I know that I've clearly just outed myself as a crazy by admitting to all these tests Blush Grin

Anyway, just wanted to say beware! And if you're just using IC at 8dpo celen then really don't worry - i think it would be way too early for them to show anything!
