Hello,

Just got my blood test results back from GP - 49.9 - can anyone tell me whether this is good or not? Trying to find out a bit more before i go back to the GP!

That is very good! Great news!

They require 30 to confirm ovulation so you certainly ovulated with that level.

I had one dome last month and only had 27.1 but somehow managed to conceive that cycle.

Did you manage to dtd at the important times in your cycle? If so will you be testing any time soon?

Yes, we dtd every other day around the correct time, so fingers crossed! Trying not to test until at least next week, if I can be patient! Waiting on results of OHs tests now.... It's stressful all this ttc business I am finding!

dil yes anything over 30 confirms ovulation. Is it a very faint line on a hpt you're seeing? Go out and buy a frer - first response early results test and use fmu (if you have saved it). They are the most accurate and sensitive tests.

Sorry what is FMU? This was the test yesterday morning. They phoned me on the 18th Nov to say I had ovulated that last blood test on 16th ..does this mean I could be as early as 1 week pregnant? (I don't get reg periods)

They count pregnancy from 1stday of last period... Or if you are irregular, go from two weeks before ovulation date (I know your not technically pregnant then but that's how they count it) so you are about 4 weeks. Congratulations! X

Just had an awful morning, I'd previously phoned ahead of doctor appointment to request they took a pregnancy test, went in this morning with my sample and she wouldn't take the test as my "faint" home test should be enough to tell that I'm pregnant. Lovely. So got home with my pot of urine and got out the clear blue test. The test failed and showed a blank screen!! Phoned the company and they are sending out another but so gutted after getting my hopes up on both occasions. Gutted

Dileas I can imagine how frustrating that would be. Seems a bit mean of the Doctor too to not confirm it. Can you pop out today and buy another test?

Clear blue are posting another one in a few days after faulty one so will wait and see
