2 1/2 years of trying, a blocked tube but think I may have a BFP

Hi all,

So I have lurked around here for the past few years gong through the dissapointment every month until 2 days ago when I randomly tested and I think I got a faint BFP so I tested a ew more times, please tell me you can see the vertical line 😊? I have absolutely no symptoms however has anyone else had BFP but no symptoms? Thank you xx

Lol - oh yes indeedy they are all positive!

I wouldn't worry about symptoms, they may well kick in soon, but some people have very few.

Thank you , I think I just needed a bit reassurance I can't believe it. We were meant to be on a list for IVF so it's just amazing! When should I contact my doctor this is my first time so rather nervous 😊

Congratulations! If you've got a confirmed blocked tube, you might need an early scan as you may be at higher risk of ectopic. No harm in making a GP appt next week.

Congratulations Grin I got a bfp earlier in the week after 18months, hard to believe isn't it? I called my dr and the receptionist booked me an appointment with midwife for December. I've had no symptoms whatsoever, just feel the same as normal minus af!

I also had a blocked tube, TTC for over 2 years and was waiting for IVF, when dd2 decided to make an appearance Smile

I would second the asking for an early scan, just to be on the safe side.

Are ectopic pregnancies very common with blocked tube 😔 hadn't thought about it? Will hopefully get an appointment with doctor soon xx
