Starting the boarding for the December Bus...

My history if anyone is interested:-

DS1 in October 2012. Started ttc for dc2 last September. Got BFP in the November but MC'd at 5 weeks.
Fast forward to July, got another bfp. Started bleeding on August Bank Holiday weekend and found out we had MMC at 11 weeks. Had ERPC a week later. 5 weeks later after still getting positive hpts, found out the ERPC had been completely unsuccessful and had to have whole bloody procedure again.

Anyway. Now got my first proper period after all the above bullshit and hoping for bfp on or before the 18th December

Thanks Grace that's really helpful so sensibly if my opk says I'm surfing today I'm best off having an etd around 10 Dec, so near to you Jfw! Welcome X
Polgara - hilarious and true.

GinandJazzHands · 26/11/2015 22:39

Surfing lol sorry meant surging...

Sodasoda · 26/11/2015 22:40

fineknacks - you sound like you've had quite a journey so far! I use Fertility Friend app and finding it great. It's only my first month using it and I'm loving it in a geeky way! It's great if you're temping (first month of doing that too)

spots - I just got a cheap thermometer from Amazon (about £3) but if you can if get one with a face that lights up in the dark and that saves a couple of readings. You're supposed to take your temp before you get up and move around and so far it's led to a few things knocked over and lights being put on to squint at the thermometer and a DH who increasingly thinks I'm round the bend

Sakura03 · 26/11/2015 22:46

Hi everyone, I haven't posted for a while as I've been ill with a very stubborn cold and sore throat, I'm going to phone my gp in the morning as I think I've got a chest infection... Been taking loads of over the counter remedies, cough mixture etc. Cd20 here - in ttw but I'm not that hopeful to be honest... Doctor appointment Tuesday evening to request further tests. I'll have a read to catch up with the thread and hopefully we'll see a lot of BFP's!

Tigerstripes · 27/11/2015 08:13

Been a bit of a crazy week here. Ovia had told me that my fertile window started this weekend but then had loads of EWCM earlier in the week. When I put that in, it suddenly said I was nearing the end of my fertile window! Cue much upset and leaping on DH, who is working all hours and is very stressed at the moment. Stupid Ovia. So likely to be a BFN for me this month.

FineKnacksForLadies · 27/11/2015 10:08

Ovia: SadBrewBiscuitChocolateThanks Sorry to hear - fingers crossed for you. I'm always a bit Confused about stress - how exactly are you meant to stop stressing when were all watching our bodies like hawks! And I feel your pain re DH and work stress too...mines in finance and year end is always hellish.

FineKnacksForLadies · 27/11/2015 10:10

Oh dear. Obviously by ovia I'm talking to tigerstripes, and not an app...brain addled this morning! Up all night with a horrid cold!

weechops · 27/11/2015 14:09

Sympathies for everyone else feeling ill. I've caught ds2 bug and have spent most of the day in the looSad

I think I'm due af on Wednesday maybe Thursday, and then I'll be so stressed hoping that I don't ov til at least cd 16 when dh is home!

kittyvet · 27/11/2015 17:38

Hope everyone feeling better soon. Got a highish temp this am so think I might have ovulated yesterday. That puts my testing date as 6th Dec. My first 2WW trying for no 2. Those interested I use fertility friend app too and really like it.

(WARNING: Do not click link if you're eating)

Given my new and exciting CM obsession, I googled it.

Found a link which people may find useful:

www.babycentre.co.uk/l1047500/what-cervical-mucus-looks-like-photos

This is not for the squeamish - contains close up photos of the stuff though. It describes creamy CM as being non-fertile - that is the opposite of what I thought!

Would love to join you on this journey. Feel I need a crew to keep me from going crazy.

Twin dds about to turn 5
Recently had coil removed and madly excited but worried this whole thing will be different at 35 to how it was at 30.

Ooooh twin dds Mist, was that a surprise?! My friend had triplets 3 years ago but that was via IUI.

Only cd12 here, man I hate all the waiting around for ovulation to start...then the 2ww, it's all so bloody tedious! Angry

FineKnacksForLadies · 27/11/2015 18:51

Welcome Mist! Agreed about the crew - my DH was going a bit mad having to listen to all my CM neurosis! Welcome aboard, and sending lots of baby dust ;)

Bugmuncher · 27/11/2015 19:01

I'm starting my first 2ww. We haven't officially actively started trying but we also haven't tried to avoid it this month. Even though I know we haven't DTD on the right days I still keep wondering what might happen. I can see I'm going to drive myself mad!!!

Pugmummy87 · 27/11/2015 21:05

9dpo now. Trying not to symptom spot, but had some mild cramping for about an hour 2 nights ago and a temp dip yesterday and rise again today plus heavy, tender breasts, I can't help but wonder if it's possible implantation. Going to hold out on testing until af is due to rear her ugly head next week, but we will we see!

findingmyfeet12 · 27/11/2015 22:04

I'm cd 27.

I've not had any symptoms except that my breasts feel heavy, although I think I might be imagining that Blush

I'm determined not to poas but just wait for af.

Good luck Pugmummy - hope we both manage to hold off testing!

OwlinaTree · 27/11/2015 22:16

Hi guys, I reckon I've ovulated these last few days sometime, hopefully dtd enough! In the tww now, af due on the 8th. Will try to hold off testing till at least then!

Going to try to not symptom spot this month, I was awful last month. It's hard to resist though isn't it?

findingmyfeet12 · 27/11/2015 22:18

It's murder Owlinatree. I think I've made my boobs sore just by poking and prodding them to see if they're sore.

OwlinaTree · 27/11/2015 23:00

It's about 4th month of trying. Had an early mc a while ago. Hoping this will be the month:)

Kellz92 · 27/11/2015 23:48

Polgara thanks for the link that is quite helpful.

Celen i know what you mean im only cd10!

SeriousStuff · 28/11/2015 05:08

pug and finding my breasts are starting to feel more and more like they did when I breastfed and since yesterday morning I've had terrible nausea. Went for a coffee with my parents and as soon as I had my first sip of coffee, I wanted to throw up. My mum had made amazing fairy cakes for me and my daughter but I couldn't even look at them. Barely eaten anything apart from dry toast and fish fingers (random, I know).

I'm not exaggerating any of this so it's either a good sign or I'm ill! On CD26 today...thinking I might test on Monday.
