Starting the boarding for the December Bus...

My history if anyone is interested:-

DS1 in October 2012. Started ttc for dc2 last September. Got BFP in the November but MC'd at 5 weeks.
Fast forward to July, got another bfp. Started bleeding on August Bank Holiday weekend and found out we had MMC at 11 weeks. Had ERPC a week later. 5 weeks later after still getting positive hpts, found out the ERPC had been completely unsuccessful and had to have whole bloody procedure again.

Anyway. Now got my first proper period after all the above bullshit and hoping for bfp on or before the 18th December

Gin it was lovely thanks, we walked to the local Italian and then called at friends on the way back for a few drinks, DD had a sleepover so nice lie in too!
14dpo tomorrow but decided not to test as I can't bear the bfn. Going to wait till Tuesday of af doesn't get me first.
Got major sore boobs which is my telltale sign she's on her way, boo!

first yes I've been ov testing every day cause I came off the implant last month but no AF yet. I had 3 days of positives but no temp spike, assumed I'd OV'd but kept on just in case then got a positive and a temp spike which has stayed high last weekend. Really glad I kept checking but it meant we only snuck in one cheeky DTD on the day of OV so don't fancy my chances.

sheep sounds lovely, really glad you got some QT with the DH. You never know, sore boobs could mean something else so fx for you.

Bloody hell first that sounds so frustrating! I've been on some form of birth control since 16 (I'm 33) so thinking I'm in for a few similar cycles. I'm so impatient - I think I'm tricking myself into thinking I have some control by temping and OPKing daily - def makes me feel better.

Convinced Ive OV'd this time though cause of my temps so weirdly fxing for AF almost as much as BFP! Fx your BFP comes soon first

I know what you mean gin. I did a little dance when I got a positive opk for 2 days with ewcm!!! 9th and 10th dec

Bless you must have been elated! Are you temping? I had a positive on 12th and temp spike on 13th, so I'm guessing OV was on 13th. Massive fx for you!

gin no, not temping. Trying not to freak my husband out. Plus I work funny shifts. So not confirmed ovulation I know.

Fair enough. I think it's given me peace of mind it probably happened this time, but to be honest I think I've learned my lesson anyway about regularly DTD- we went for it like mad during my first LH surges then sort of sat back so the second took us a bit by surprise.

Yeah I can understand that. If I don't have either AF or BFP I'll ask for some provera to end this cycle!

So thrown up three times today, still feeling bloated and gassy. Seem to be developing quite the uti as well so going to see if Drs can give me antibiotics tomorrow as I'm literally on and off the toilet every 5 minutes.

Desperately need that BFP this week. Either that or I need to accept the fact that I'm actually ill. But if this is pregnancy, it kinda sucks so far lol!

Thanks for asking gin unfortunately I got a bfn yesterday morning and today following my faint line ok Friday. So I think it was a chemical. No AF yet, CD30. But like you I have been either on long term contraception that stops periods, or pregnant since I was 16. I'm 29 now and have no clue what my cycle length should be! I've had one period since coming off the implant. At cd30 I'd expect a positive by now even if I'm not due AF for a day or two so I really think that's it now for me this month.

Yes I'll hop over to the January bus although I might not actually end up testing until Ararat Feb unless I get some seriously convincing symptoms... Good luck to everyone else still waiting to test!

I had a huge temp dip on Saturday then spiked back up yesterday and is still high today! I'm 6/7dpo. I think 7dpo myself. Went to the cinema yesterday afternoon and had a really weird super hot flush, felt quite dizzy and unwell for a few minutes. I'm definitely hotter than usual overnight, my dh thinks I'm ill. During the day I'm crampy on and off and keep feeling warm but I'm still fighting this cold and sore throat. Trying not to get my hopes up. Probably going to start to test on Wednesday. At the same time I'm due af on Monday so I might just wait. I'm not sure I want to ruin Christmas with a bfn.

she what tests have you been using? Also you could have implanted later than normal so there's still time :)

sheep sounds similar to me, I'm getting waves of feeling sick/full after eating not very much. Not every time I eat but once a day. Fx we get our BFPs!

I'm about 7-8 dpo myself, I've been testing every morning (obviously nothing yet!). Just bought some superdrug cheapies, hopeful for something tomorrow morning!

Good luck first, if you do decide today! I tested this morning and nothing so going to hold off for a little bit. Just wish there was more we could do to make it happen!!
