All we want for Christmas is our BFP! All aboard the December Bus...

Starting the boarding for the December Bus...

My history if anyone is interested:-

DS1 in October 2012. Started ttc for dc2 last September. Got BFP in the November but MC'd at 5 weeks.
Fast forward to July, got another bfp. Started bleeding on August Bank Holiday weekend and found out we had MMC at 11 weeks. Had ERPC a week later. 5 weeks later after still getting positive hpts, found out the ERPC had been completely unsuccessful and had to have whole bloody procedure again.

Anyway. Now got my first proper period after all the above bullshit and hoping for bfp on or before the 18th December

mini I watched The Lady in the Van, I really liked it, I haven't seen the new James Bond yet, bet it's good?
Celen I hope your dh behaves, do you normally test quite early? I just get so disappointed and low when I see a BFN...

Sakura03 · 29/11/2015 19:50

Don't know what I have done to my left elbow but it's rather painful when I move my arm, don't think it's a symptom though.....

GinandJazzHands · 29/11/2015 19:53

Wow, tons going on; we all deserve a bumper crop of BFPs!
Rae - sorry to hear this Flowers but good news about a boozy crimbo. I'm thinking if AF comes for me before xmas I'll take xmas to new year off, eat/drink what I like and start in 2016 (which was the original plan but we got all excited when I came off the implant mid-Nov).

Good luck to all those DTD and trying to hold of POAS! Very excited for the symptom spotters - good luck!

After 3 days of positive OPKs I've got a negative this eve (weirdly happy about this - getting DTD fatigue and a proper head cold), so crossing fingers I've actually OV'd and can start the countdown to BFP or xmas boozing... Celen I'm with you, I think I'd rather know early even if things don't work out, so think I'm going to be spending a fortune on FRERs.

OwlinaTree · 29/11/2015 19:58

It does feel like it won't be quite so bad to get a bfn this month, as I can console myself with lovely Christmas food and boozy nights out till the new year!

Someone say this to me in 10 days time...Wink

Celen · 29/11/2015 20:24

Yes Sakura, any time from 10 dpo usually. I take sleeping tablets occasionally though and codeine/ibuprofen for a dodgy shoulder so I'd rather know and then not take the medication if bfp than take them regardless. Plus, as I said, I prefer being aware of every MC, early or otherwise so I can ask for help from the GP.

Kellz it's such a good film, but so emotional!
Today I'm peeing every two mins as well as my other 'symptoms' so I'm hoping it's all adding up to a BFP when I do test. I have one week and one day left to go (if AF comes before then I will scream, and then cry lots like a teething baby) so I'm keeping everything crossed!
Good luck to everybody gearing up to POAS in the next few days, keep us all updated!

nenehooo · 29/11/2015 22:01

Can I join please? (Celen I think we may know each other?!)

I've got a bit of a situation - had copper coil taken out last Tuesday, and GP checked my womb and found a cyst. She booked me an urgent scan and said to hold off TTC until then. I was in a dilemma as I'm desperate to get on with it, but didn't want to go against GP's advice.

I temp on FF and it said I'd ov'd already on CD 17, and I'd used OPKs which were blank so we DTD on Wednesday - CD19.
Then on Friday, FF changed my ov day to CD19 so now I'm upset with myself.

Today my boobs are killing me - I usually always get sore boobs post-ov but this seems worse than usual and I've been feeling off food and a bit dizzy all day. But then I have a sore throat so may just be ill.

My scan is on Tuesday so at least I don't need to wait long for that. I'm driving myself mad thinking what if...

GuessHowMuch · 29/11/2015 23:01

I'll jump on board if there's room please... first bus journey TTC no2. I'm cycle day 24 of 26 so due AF on Tuesday. I don't have any symptoms and not expecting a BFP as we didn't really DTD enough this cycle. I do feel a bit sick (usual for me pre-AF) and I've been having very vivid dreams but not got a good feeling for this time round. Will test on Thursday if AF doesn't show up before then. Good luck to everyone POASing soon and lots of stamina to those in their fertile time Wink

Bailey Fx for you xx

queenoftheworld93 · 29/11/2015 23:39

Hello everyone Smile was around earlier but FF recalculated AF to arrive in November. Hope this is a lucky bus as I'm fully expecting to join you all tomorrow!

How is everyone doing?

SeriousStuff · 30/11/2015 00:22

pumpkin a faint line is still a line - congratulations!!!!x

SeriousStuff · 30/11/2015 00:24

Celen not sure when I ov'd, but I'm on cd28 of a potentially 34 day cycle

findingmyfeet12 · 30/11/2015 06:33

Good luck to anyone who's poas imminently.

Just checking in. I've had cramping and other af symptoms all night. Just waiting for it to arrive so I can call the hospital and get a date to start my stim injections.

I feel as though I'm wishing my life away but ttc is such a waiting game.

Womenareliketeabags · 30/11/2015 06:50

Morning all! I'm jumping on. Here are my facts and figures

Name: Women and/or teabags
Age: 25
Diagnosed PCOS
Ttc: DC 2 (DS is 2.5yo)
CD: 7
Cycle ttc: 2 (last cycle was 40 days long Shock)

Was originally temping along with ovulation test to determine OV but I discovered my temp was always lower when I did it at 5am (getting up for work) rather then when I woke up naturally due to DS shrieking so I would have to get up at 5am everyday to temp for it to be accurate. Not happening.

I'm also a crazy symptom spotter.

Hello Smile

OwlinaTree · 30/11/2015 07:18

welcome women and guess.

Womenareliketeabags · 30/11/2015 07:49

Thank you Owlina.

My conundrum of the morning is I have two fertility apps because one isn't enough

App 1 thinks I'll be fertile from CD12 the other thinks CD23 that's a huge difference! Do I start OPK from CD10 or wait til CD20?

TinaR14 · 30/11/2015 08:56

Bugmuncher · 30/11/2015 10:43

Serious - I can definitely see something!

Bugmuncher · 30/11/2015 10:44

What cycle day are you testing on?

jauntyofarabia · 30/11/2015 10:48

Serious - there is definitely something there, would you hold off another 48 hours then test again?! Mind you I don't think I could and would have to test again tomorrow morning! maybe treat yourself to one of the digital ones for Wednesday morning.

I have just read the above paragraph back to myself - oh how life has changed!

Celen · 30/11/2015 11:18

Hey nene, we do indeed know each other Grin Funny to see each other on another antenatal thread together again!

Sorry to hear about your cyst though, how worrying Sad but you couldn't have predicted the change in ov date so if they ask about sex, then I'd lie and say it was protected with a condom to save yourself the possible lecture!
