Fred rules (copied and adapted from previous Fred)

  1. Thou shalt shag as much as humanly possible in order to get upduffed.
  2. Thou shalt not partake of OPKs, temping, or charting.
  3. Thou shalt keep symptom spotting to a minimum.
  4. Thou shalt share with your fredmates where needed.
  5. Thou shalt not be offended by the word vagina.

JSing lingo

ERTD = Evil Red Tide of Dooooooommmmmmm. Or AF to most others. Also known as 'the witch', 'bitch witch' and 'that one with the red shiny convertible'

Viroid = This is you, dear poster. This is from the first JS thread when someone tried to type 'ladies' and it autocorrected to 'Viroids' - so there you go!

Pant snot = Egg white cervical mucus.

Doing a Kitten = Getting upduffed soon after joining (warning: may induce envy in other posters).

POAS = Pee On A Stick (of the pregnancy detecting kind, not from a tree). Also known as PIAR (Pee In A Ramekin - cos we're posh birds innit), or PIATLH (Tea light holder), PIAWG (Wine glass) or anything else you care to pee in! PONF = Pee on Nigel Farage (Self explanatory)

ROC = Receptacle of Choice - what one chooses to use for the task of POAS. Optional decorations include photographs of controversial political leaders.

JIAC = Jizz in a Cup. Preferable to jizz on the carpet or jizz in the eye. This one's for the lucky men in our lives.

Jizz in a bra = how we transport the jizz to the Sperm Queen

Shagging like Something = JSing like a teenage nymphomaniac.

Giving a hooya = Giving a much needed slap to a fellow poster in danger of slipping into TTC obsession. Warning - this may happen to you if you start trying to POAS at 5dpo. PUT. THE. PISSY. STICK. DOWN. IT'S TOO EARLY!

Contraband (or Cuntraband) = Of COURSE none of us EVER partake of any silly OPKs or temp charting. They are Contraband.

Icing = ovulating. Another autocorrect development!

Getting your Cape on = planning some serious pouncing on DH/DP

SOTM = Shagger of the Month. Awarded with varying regularity to those viroids who go above and beyond EOD shagging in pursuit of that BFP

TWOT - Two Weeks of Torture. AKA Schroedingering!
TWPU - Two Week Piss Up!

Keeping your gingers = fingers crossed, yet another autocorrect development! Shortened to 'gx'

Doing A Lemon = Testing WAAAAAAAY to early!

Miroid - The male compadre of a viroid

Cat - Compulsory

Skittletits - Killer molten painful tits and nipples

Ghost jizz/goat jazz - When the amazing foof sucks up all the jizz - achieved when coming at the same time/nearly the same time.

Hi everyone. Can I join?
I'm an old JSer but have name changed as I don't want people to know we're trying again yet!

I will be getting the cape out from where it's buried under all the baby paraphernalia, haven't managed to dtd much since little one was born, think the idea of some action might be why DH is so keen to start trying for no.2!

No idea what cycle day I'm on as I seemed to have just had 2 periods in the space of 3 weeks Confused

Question: can I take folic acid while breastfeeding?

Sorry to hear your news corgi Wishing 2016 can be a new start with more luck Flowers

MyBlackCat · 27/12/2015 21:07

So so sorry corgi we are here for you Thanks

I've started spotting so this months cycle isn't as fucked up as I thought. The randomly timed 1 shag miracle hasn't happened though. Must try harder in 2016, one more big effort before next fertility clinic appointment.

Off skiing on Saturday and despite the lack of snow I'm getting excited Grin

Sorry to hear Corgi Flowers.

I think according to Ovia and apps I'm on my first 2ww. I worked out I will need to test while we are with my PIL. They know we are trying but it feels awkward knowing I'll be there POASing.

honeysucklejasmine · 27/12/2015 22:35

Duck the trouble is now we will be desperate to know your old nn.

justtheonethen · 27/12/2015 22:43

Welcome duck phone autocorrected to dick which says a lot about me why the secrecy? Let's start the guessing, so, how old is your dc?

Good to have you back, love a return js'er.

Ain626 · 28/12/2015 02:03

Sorry to hear some sad news corgi

And your sad news ella

Hello duck (my phone wanted to auto correct to fuck, so just don't worry..)
Am also intrigued to know your true identity.. but if you're not ready to tell us that's fair enough. Smile

So after what felt like forever, DH made up for it by shagging twice today. Grin he's clearly feeling a bit better again!

Ditsy79 · 28/12/2015 05:50

corgi so sorry to hear your sad news.
AF started yesterday, am gutted. Mind you, at least it means I can have a drink or ten at new year....
Welcome duck

Catscatsandmorecats · 28/12/2015 06:58

corgi so so sorry to hear your sad news, that is awful to have to go through Flowers

Go just! Great to hear you have enjoyed festivities and seem to be on the road to recovery.

black I am very jealous, my ski trip has just been cancelled Sad

Hello duck (I have a new phone that doesn't correct to fuck yet, must work on that). I'm also TTC number 2 and yes you can take frolic acid whilst breastfeeding. Sadly for me, even one feed at night mucked up my cycle so much we had to totally stop but it is different for everyone, good luck

AnotherRubberDuck · 28/12/2015 09:20

Oh poo. But I would be the same, wanting to know my identity! I'm fairly active on the grad's fb group, as is my sister. So that's why I don't want any mention of ttc on there! Fairly safe on here as long as none of you out me!
DS is 6 months old. He took 5 months of JSing and one suspected early mc to get (I originally joined June 2014).

cats I'm a bit of a novice, is breastfeeding what's giving me crazy cycles? I had a normal 28 day cycle and then a 10 day one. Does this mean I might not actually be icing?

Canters15 · 28/12/2015 09:21

Oh corgi how devastating. I'm sorry.

Just, thank goodness you did that opk! Gx.

I'm on cd4 now after a late showing AF. Thankfully it has pushed my fertile window back into first week of honeymoon which is perfect. Am feeling the pressure a bit though- in laws are here for our wedding at the weekend and one of the first things I was asked was if I was pregnant yet! Then when I was out of the house MIL asked D-almost-h if I was pregnant as she had a feeling I was going to be! Sadly not. They are lovely people, just so excited about the possibility of being grandparents. However I am getting stressed worrying my uterus is not going to play ball....

LondonGirl83 · 28/12/2015 10:25

Hi Corgi- so sorry Flowers. Glad to hear work has been supportive. Let us know if you need anything at all

corgi88 · 28/12/2015 11:40

Hello you lovely viroids. Thanks for all the kind words and flowers. Sorry if this is the wrong place to ask, but how long does a mc take? Been bleeding since Xmas day and is ridiculously painful but not that much is coming away yet, it's just like a normal period so far. Going home to parents today for TLC. DH being brilliant too. What got me was him crying at the scan result, made it a million times worse :( I already sort of knew but I think he was still hoping. Ehhhh.

LondonGirl83 · 28/12/2015 12:31

It took me about a week before it was all done. Hang in there.

fruitlovingmonkey · 28/12/2015 12:32

Corgi don't want to scare you but there will probably be a lot more to come. My experience of mc was absolutely nothing like a heavy period. Get some serious painkillers and take them as often as you can, this is not the time to battle through pain. You might need medical or surgical management, have a think about which one you would choose if it comes to that. There's a good thread on the mc board called 'tips for coping with the practicalities'

MyBlackCat · 28/12/2015 13:04

corgi I second what fruit said. I was 10 weeks when I mc, had bleeding for about 5 days before the main event and the. More bleeding for a week or so after. I wouldn't wish it on my worst enemy. The thread fruit mentioned helped me though and prepared me for what to expect. I really feel for you Thanks

corgi88 · 28/12/2015 13:44

Wise viroids! I have stockpiled ibuprofen, paracetamol and codeine, had a delicious cocktail of all 3 this morning washed down with a Daim bar. Thinking surgical management most appealing, would all just be over when I woke up. Though bit worried about them perforating my bicornuate uterus with their pokey suction thing. We'll see. I'm supposed to be back on call the day after my repeat scan, already feel really guilty about letting everyone down over Christmas night shifts :s
In other news the real corgi (Rhubarb) is being the nicest dog ever currently, I don't know if she knows I'm sad or just wants a bit of this hot water bottle action. Either way she is a cutie!

angelazul · 28/12/2015 14:09

Corgi so sorry to hear your sad news, take care of yourself Flowers xx

ChatEnOeuf · 28/12/2015 18:39

Oh Corgi I'm so sorry. I'm with the others, load up with pain relief and prepare yourself. My 8w MC was not too painful, but clots the size of my fists before I passed the sac about three days in. Then it was about 10 days of normal period bleeding. The twins were about 6w when they went, I had surgery (they were ?ingredients partial mole as they never saw a HB with twin II). That was like a normal period afterwards for at least a week. They didn't break my bicornuate uterus. That was on my nights over changeover week - I felt awful! Look after yourself - this is more important than work Flowers

Welcome Duck! So yours came a month after Tiny was born...that narrows it down somewhat! Good to see you here, be lovely if we can be due near each other again - providing it's soon :) Yes, frolic is fine with bfing. I'd go for the ones with vit D in.

Canters - out of wedlock?! Naughty in laws.

AnotherRubberDuck · 28/12/2015 20:10

Who outed me?!?!?! I said I didn't want this to go on the Facebook group!! [Sad] Sad Angry
Can you delete it before my sister sees?!

justtheonethen · 28/12/2015 20:40

Hugs to you corgi

duck I'm not seeing anything on undergrads fb, is it on the grads?

AnotherRubberDuck · 28/12/2015 21:04

Yeah, grad's fb. I didn't know there was an undergrads one!
The post has been removed now. Hopefully quick enough that my dsis didn't see. I'm not ready for real life people knowing I'm ttc again just yet.
For you curious people I was rm.

Ain626 · 28/12/2015 21:59

I'm feeling really down tonight. One of DH's best friends has told him that his wife is pregnant. I'm happy for them. They are a lovely couple. I'm really upset with me though. When will it be our turn? Several people have made pregnancy announcements. I'm finding it very difficult.

Sorry for the mini rant. As you were. X

SockQueen · 29/12/2015 10:22

Sorry you're feeling low Ain - it's so tough being happy for other lovely people and sometimes unfollowing on fb while at the same time it hurts so much wishing it could be you. Brew

Survived my Christmas night shifts, am now off for a week, haven't made any plans yet...

CoffeeandStitches · 29/12/2015 11:15

Corgi Flowers if you need anything at all xx

Sorry I've been absent, the festivities have only just stopped. Still no witch, now on CD41 and no signs it's on the way. What do I do? Just ride it out till something gives? Or should I be making a Drs appointment?

AnotherRubberDuck · 29/12/2015 11:31

What's your history coffee? (I'm too lazy to read back.) Was your previous one a normal period? Just come off the pill?
