Fred rules (copied and adapted from previous Fred)

  1. Thou shalt shag as much as humanly possible in order to get upduffed.
  2. Thou shalt not partake of OPKs, temping, or charting.
  3. Thou shalt keep symptom spotting to a minimum.
  4. Thou shalt share with your fredmates where needed.
  5. Thou shalt not be offended by the word vagina.

JSing lingo

ERTD = Evil Red Tide of Dooooooommmmmmm. Or AF to most others. Also known as 'the witch', 'bitch witch' and 'that one with the red shiny convertible'

Viroid = This is you, dear poster. This is from the first JS thread when someone tried to type 'ladies' and it autocorrected to 'Viroids' - so there you go!

Pant snot = Egg white cervical mucus.

Doing a Kitten = Getting upduffed soon after joining (warning: may induce envy in other posters).

POAS = Pee On A Stick (of the pregnancy detecting kind, not from a tree). Also known as PIAR (Pee In A Ramekin - cos we're posh birds innit), or PIATLH (Tea light holder), PIAWG (Wine glass) or anything else you care to pee in! PONF = Pee on Nigel Farage (Self explanatory)

ROC = Receptacle of Choice - what one chooses to use for the task of POAS. Optional decorations include photographs of controversial political leaders.

JIAC = Jizz in a Cup. Preferable to jizz on the carpet or jizz in the eye. This one's for the lucky men in our lives.

Jizz in a bra = how we transport the jizz to the Sperm Queen

Shagging like Something = JSing like a teenage nymphomaniac.

Giving a hooya = Giving a much needed slap to a fellow poster in danger of slipping into TTC obsession. Warning - this may happen to you if you start trying to POAS at 5dpo. PUT. THE. PISSY. STICK. DOWN. IT'S TOO EARLY!

Contraband (or Cuntraband) = Of COURSE none of us EVER partake of any silly OPKs or temp charting. They are Contraband.

Icing = ovulating. Another autocorrect development!

Getting your Cape on = planning some serious pouncing on DH/DP

SOTM = Shagger of the Month. Awarded with varying regularity to those viroids who go above and beyond EOD shagging in pursuit of that BFP

TWOT - Two Weeks of Torture. AKA Schroedingering!
TWPU - Two Week Piss Up!

Keeping your gingers = fingers crossed, yet another autocorrect development! Shortened to 'gx'

Doing A Lemon = Testing WAAAAAAAY to early!

Miroid - The male compadre of a viroid

Cat - Compulsory

Skittletits - Killer molten painful tits and nipples

Ghost jizz/goat jazz - When the amazing foof sucks up all the jizz - achieved when coming at the same time/nearly the same time.

Aww, just you're a hero! So glad you braved it!
It was a lap, but I have so many complications I just couldn't do it anymore. I feel better for admitting it and am going to try and move on. Might be a long road but things are better already Smile
Tbh it'd be a bit bittersweet for me to hang around these parts too much but I think of you all often and will def keep in touch. No next steps decided on yet, I've cut ties with all of my consultants for now, nothing was helping. Might book the stork to bring one instead Grin

justtheonethen · 18/12/2015 00:17

Do keep in touch tink, I'll miss you, totally get not wanting to be here though. We all want to know when you get your baby though. Come and be my rl friend please, we can drink gin and see if the stork does a bogof deals Grin
Sounds like you know you made a good decision and you might be on a different path but one that is right for you. Good luck lovely, and I mean the rl offer if you need a shoulder/ear/gin partner.

Catscatsandmorecats · 18/12/2015 05:42

just you are amazing, chatting away and looking at the positives of the last week Smile

Oooh, fuzzy where are you?

canters and black I hope the gin and wine did the trick last night.

I'm wide awake needing to pee but I don't want to disturb DH or DS as that will mean both of them up for the day so I'm enjoying the peace and quiet and coming on here. The crazies are still with me but I have my work Christmas lunch and DH's work Christmas do today so I fully intend to enjoy myself and forget all about it Wine

ChatEnOeuf · 18/12/2015 07:55

Tink my love, you do the right thing listening to your body. Good luck on your path, I do hope you have a lovely Christmas. Please do keep in touch, though I get that here may not be where you want to be.

Just I think D2 is fine for D3 bloods. Think the next step is a look at your tubes? HSG or lap and dye, at a guess. Lil definitely knows :) And your consultant is right.

Did a practice delivery resus scenario at work yesterday - wasn't as bad as feared - next step is to have to do it with a real baby. Gulp.

MyBlackCat · 18/12/2015 08:45

I've got a headache Shock

just day two is fine for bloods, I think we are at about the same stage in fc process. I had HSG last month, following all the bloods, pelvic scan etc. No issues with either of us so we are back in Feb when we make the decision to do IVF or not - we could just keep going El Natural. Apparently age is on our side even though I'm approaching my 34th birthday Envy

So fucked off with the whole thing..

God I feel rough

justtheonethen · 18/12/2015 10:49

Same age too then black Wink

Not to be a total downer cats but I'm used to it now.

justtheonethen · 18/12/2015 10:50

Well done chat, those babies are in safe hands.

MyBlackCat · 18/12/2015 10:57

So I had to go to the docs today about something unrelated & happened to mention af is 4 days late & I'd poas but bfn. Said I'd been feeling nauseous & the doctor told me categorically that you can not get symptoms this early. Is he right? 😕

LondonGirl83 · 18/12/2015 11:27

No he's wrong. Lot's of people get symptoms that early. I have a friend that got terrible morning sickness immediately - she had been told he couldn't have children and that was the only reason she bothered to test because it was so unusual for her.

LondonGirl83 · 18/12/2015 11:31

NFMV- OPK today is static smiley but my temp has also risen by 0.2 degrees C which would suggest I've ovulated. I think I ovulated early this morning (PAIN) but I thought the LH surge came before ovulation.

I've looked an clear blues website and it seems that for them the peak day LH surge is the same day as ovulation so it would all be consistent. I'm a bit confused?

www.clearblueeasy.com/healthcare/fertility-ovulation-test.php

YouBastardSockBalls · 18/12/2015 13:27

Ella I had a bfp last week - had been feeling nauseous, and had milk since about 4dpo.

Canters15 · 18/12/2015 14:33

Just the gin is half hitch, I bought it at a food festival a few weeks ago because they said it was selling at nearly double the price in fortnum and mason. I'm a sucker but it's bloody good!

Good luck to everyone js'ing this weekend- climb on board those rogue/rouge/rough penises!

I'm off into town shortly (half day from work) to get my greys covered up hair made all nice for the wedding. Couldn't be bothered to wash hair this morning so sat with a dry shampooed grease ball on head. Will hairdresser judge?

Also what is all this weeing on opks in 2ww I've been hearing off? may have done that today does it actually mean anything or is it just another way to torture ourselves?

justtheonethen · 18/12/2015 14:48

Well I thought it was good sense as others have had bfp after positive opk. But obviously not for me, period seemed to have stopped today so I did an opk and it was positive again! But as the frer deemed me not pregnant yesterday I think we can safely say it's bollocks, or my body is just fucking crazy surging left right and centre! Just had day 3 (2) blood test so I'll know soon enough if my eggs are useless dried old husks.

Not heard of that gin. Might have a look! I tried an amazing rhubarb gin and an elderflower one at a wine festival last week. Must buy some!

CountryGal4 · 18/12/2015 15:18

Rhubarb gin is the bomb!

CountryGal4 · 18/12/2015 15:19

Just btw your welcome to dh... He' s pulling the house apart!

justtheonethen · 18/12/2015 15:23

For any particular reason country?

CountryGal4 · 18/12/2015 15:29

He's pulling chipboard off the floor boards then he's going to sand everything

LondonGirl83 · 18/12/2015 15:42

Just that is so weird you keep getting positive OPKs. I can only assume it has something to do with your medication because clearblue OPKs state on the box you can use them as a pregnancy test. Try not to go mad and focus on feeling better!

justtheonethen · 18/12/2015 15:57

Totally mental. I wonder if it is the medication.

Ooh he sounds handy, send him this way

EllaBella07 · 18/12/2015 16:02

Thanks You. I really don't know if I'm coming or going. Late af & loads of symptoms all week but bfn. No idea when I actually ovulated as af varies between 25 & 29 days. It's certainly possible it could have happened.
If not then fine but could af turn up please so I can concentrate on next month! 😡

CountryGal4 · 18/12/2015 16:06

He's never expressed handiness before.... I fear he's gone mental

angelazul · 18/12/2015 16:51

Christmas conceptions lead to autumn baby boom - www.bbc.co.uk/news/health-35131097

Good luck with the shagging over the next few weeks vidroids Xmas Grin

justtheonethen · 18/12/2015 19:21

Maybe he's nesting country Hmm

I've just had the same ella, no help on why though!
