Fred rules (copied and adapted from previous Fred)

  1. Thou shalt shag as much as humanly possible in order to get upduffed.
  2. Thou shalt not partake of OPKs, temping, or charting.
  3. Thou shalt keep symptom spotting to a minimum.
  4. Thou shalt share with your fredmates where needed.
  5. Thou shalt not be offended by the word vagina.

JSing lingo

ERTD = Evil Red Tide of Dooooooommmmmmm. Or AF to most others. Also known as 'the witch', 'bitch witch' and 'that one with the red shiny convertible'

Viroid = This is you, dear poster. This is from the first JS thread when someone tried to type 'ladies' and it autocorrected to 'Viroids' - so there you go!

Pant snot = Egg white cervical mucus.

Doing a Kitten = Getting upduffed soon after joining (warning: may induce envy in other posters).

POAS = Pee On A Stick (of the pregnancy detecting kind, not from a tree). Also known as PIAR (Pee In A Ramekin - cos we're posh birds innit), or PIATLH (Tea light holder), PIAWG (Wine glass) or anything else you care to pee in! PONF = Pee on Nigel Farage (Self explanatory)

ROC = Receptacle of Choice - what one chooses to use for the task of POAS. Optional decorations include photographs of controversial political leaders.

JIAC = Jizz in a Cup. Preferable to jizz on the carpet or jizz in the eye. This one's for the lucky men in our lives.

Jizz in a bra = how we transport the jizz to the Sperm Queen

Shagging like Something = JSing like a teenage nymphomaniac.

Giving a hooya = Giving a much needed slap to a fellow poster in danger of slipping into TTC obsession. Warning - this may happen to you if you start trying to POAS at 5dpo. PUT. THE. PISSY. STICK. DOWN. IT'S TOO EARLY!

Contraband (or Cuntraband) = Of COURSE none of us EVER partake of any silly OPKs or temp charting. They are Contraband.

Icing = ovulating. Another autocorrect development!

Getting your Cape on = planning some serious pouncing on DH/DP

SOTM = Shagger of the Month. Awarded with varying regularity to those viroids who go above and beyond EOD shagging in pursuit of that BFP

TWOT - Two Weeks of Torture. AKA Schroedingering!
TWPU - Two Week Piss Up!

Keeping your gingers = fingers crossed, yet another autocorrect development! Shortened to 'gx'

Doing A Lemon = Testing WAAAAAAAY to early!

Miroid - The male compadre of a viroid

Cat - Compulsory

Skittletits - Killer molten painful tits and nipples

Ghost jizz/goat jazz - When the amazing foof sucks up all the jizz - achieved when coming at the same time/nearly the same time.

Evening viroids!

I've been away for a bit, thought I was jinxing myself with all the counting and symptom spotting etc, and wanted a break until I'd seen the gynae. I now have, and he says all seems fine as far as he can tell, but referring me for scan for reassurance.

CONGRATULATIONS to all the bfps in this thread! It's been one after the other!
Well done on the blood test just! It's just a little prick innit!

London Flowers xxxx

Anyway, I'm hopeful this month. Hardly dare say it. Don't know how many dpo as I stopped counting, but it must be around cd 21/22. For the last week I've had the runs (tmi but happened in both previous pregnancies!), nausea, tiredness, and this morning I had milk which I haven't had since I stopped breastfeeding around 6 months ago. Hardly dare to get my hopes up but the FRER in my cupboard is beckoning.....!

Is it too soon??

ChatEnOeuf · 11/12/2015 20:47

Hey YB! Welcome back. I'd say too soon, but it depends how gutted you'd be to see a BFN, versus shrugging and saying it's just too early to tell...
I'm a late pisser. Saves money.

Boo, Angry, Wine and Flowers

So, things we've acquired from BE: a hosepipe, a drawer organiser and a dustpan and brush. Things we have lost: one bag of onions, the mat for the cat's food and about 40 sheets of Christmas wrapping paper. I think we've lost out there.

YouBastardSockBalls · 12/12/2015 07:08

Omg OMG! It's not even a squinter! CD22 - thank you frer, you did what you said you would!
This is DEFINITELY a lucky thread. Although I feel like an imposter after being awol for a bit, sorry viroids xx

Name: YB

And now to find a hypnotherapist/witch doctor to help with my terrible emetophobia...!

Chat what's BE??

Catscatsandmorecats · 12/12/2015 10:55

Hello viriods, sorry fell off the fred for some time there! Our week off has been busier than being at work.

Flowers to cori and angel and all the other viriods down in the dumps.

Congratulations youbastard that is fantastic.

And hello ella this thread and the lovely viriods on it are helping me massively. I am still a bit mental but at least I have an outlet!

We have been JSing loads for us, and although the vomitathon delayed the start I think we did enough around icing, that's if I iced at all, I can't tell. The week off has been lovely, we've had a meal out, been to the cinema, took DS to the Christmas market and generally caught up on stuff. The only downside is DS is waking up about 4am screaming and not able to get back to sleep so we're still shattered!

The witch is due next Saturday, which means I could use the frer I have in the cupboard on Wednesday. But after last month's debacle my sensible head says to wait until at least Saturday. chat I wish I had your patience...

angelazul · 12/12/2015 11:02

Congratulations YB, fantastic early Christmas present!!!

Welcome Ella

SockQueen · 12/12/2015 11:23

Welcome Ella

Illiria · 12/12/2015 15:55

Congratulations Sock

EllaBella07 · 12/12/2015 16:27

Thank you everyone Grin
I can't believe how quickly I've slipped into my old ways. I've felt nauseous since Wednesday & had awful indigestion neither of which are ever an issue but if we conceived it would be a frigging miracle as we only js'd once after coil was removed & I'm pretty sure it would have been waaaaay after ovulation (ERTD due Monday). However I keep finding myself wondering after every little twinge etc. Shock
It took a couple of years to have DD & had several miscarriages along the way. It really took its toll on us individually & our relationship. I'm hoping being 35 isn't going to make things even harder than they were back then.
So glad you guys are here to keep me on the straight & narrow. Smile
