Fred rules (copied and adapted from previous Fred)

  1. Thou shalt shag as much as humanly possible in order to get upduffed.
  2. Thou shalt not partake of OPKs, temping, or charting.
  3. Thou shalt keep symptom spotting to a minimum.
  4. Thou shalt share with your fredmates where needed.
  5. Thou shalt not be offended by the word vagina.

JSing lingo

ERTD = Evil Red Tide of Dooooooommmmmmm. Or AF to most others. Also known as 'the witch', 'bitch witch' and 'that one with the red shiny convertible'

Viroid = This is you, dear poster. This is from the first JS thread when someone tried to type 'ladies' and it autocorrected to 'Viroids' - so there you go!

Pant snot = Egg white cervical mucus.

Doing a Kitten = Getting upduffed soon after joining (warning: may induce envy in other posters).

POAS = Pee On A Stick (of the pregnancy detecting kind, not from a tree). Also known as PIAR (Pee In A Ramekin - cos we're posh birds innit), or PIATLH (Tea light holder), PIAWG (Wine glass) or anything else you care to pee in! PONF = Pee on Nigel Farage (Self explanatory)

ROC = Receptacle of Choice - what one chooses to use for the task of POAS. Optional decorations include photographs of controversial political leaders.

JIAC = Jizz in a Cup. Preferable to jizz on the carpet or jizz in the eye. This one's for the lucky men in our lives.

Jizz in a bra = how we transport the jizz to the Sperm Queen

Shagging like Something = JSing like a teenage nymphomaniac.

Giving a hooya = Giving a much needed slap to a fellow poster in danger of slipping into TTC obsession. Warning - this may happen to you if you start trying to POAS at 5dpo. PUT. THE. PISSY. STICK. DOWN. IT'S TOO EARLY!

Contraband (or Cuntraband) = Of COURSE none of us EVER partake of any silly OPKs or temp charting. They are Contraband.

Icing = ovulating. Another autocorrect development!

Getting your Cape on = planning some serious pouncing on DH/DP

SOTM = Shagger of the Month. Awarded with varying regularity to those viroids who go above and beyond EOD shagging in pursuit of that BFP

TWOT - Two Weeks of Torture. AKA Schroedingering!
TWPU - Two Week Piss Up!

Keeping your gingers = fingers crossed, yet another autocorrect development! Shortened to 'gx'

Doing A Lemon = Testing WAAAAAAAY to early!

Miroid - The male compadre of a viroid

Cat - Compulsory

Skittletits - Killer molten painful tits and nipples

Ghost jizz/goat jazz - When the amazing foof sucks up all the jizz - achieved when coming at the same time/nearly the same time.

Thanks pretzel Smile

justtheonethen · 24/11/2015 20:06

Oops didn't think that posted. That's good, I can't afford weekly!

justtheonethen · 24/11/2015 20:23

Dp has just told me he's going away for work Sunday to weds. Probably right over my fertile period. Cock. Angry
He could come back Monday and just commute tues weds as he's just with a colleague but in his normal area but no doubt wants a piss up. Cock.
And I think he's forgotten our anniversary on Friday. Massive cock. So much for hoping for a proposal. I'll be lucky to get a card.

CountryGal4 · 25/11/2015 08:23

Good on you for taking steps to help yourself just! Maaaaaybe he's got something nice lined up but wants to keep you off the scent?????

All this talk if athletic chickens is odd. I didn't know it was possible for a chicken to be able to get in a tree?!

justtheonethen · 25/11/2015 09:19

I'm having the most horrific morning l. I found my two littlest chickens have been attacked in the night. One was dead and the other injured. Started to clean her up and realised she lost a leg. So awful. I feel so guilty that something hurt them.

Mermaid36 · 25/11/2015 11:39

country chickens like to perch/roost up high (hence raised perches in hen houses), so it's a safety thing...if they can get up into a tree, they will. A couple of ours like the apple trees, cos they can eat up there...

just oh no! My guess is it's rats or mink/weasels/stoats at this time of year Sad we had a bad mink attack last year - they took 4 fully grown ducks and hens.

coribeth · 25/11/2015 12:21

Ok so cd 21 of a 28/29 day Clomid regulated cycle and I'm starting to get a squinty line on my opks what the feck is going on with my body this month!? Confused

justtheonethen · 25/11/2015 13:08

I thought the same mermaid, didn't think of mink though, do we get mink in uk? I'm really upset about it.

Mermaid36 · 25/11/2015 13:16

just I think it depends where you live...we're pretty rural and have a lot of rat poison down...on a poultry forum, the consensus was mink-type things...

Catscatsandmorecats · 25/11/2015 13:46

Oh just that is horrible, so sorry to hear you are having an awful day. I think mermaid might be right, back in the day loads of animal rights activists released minks into the wild from mink farms, it certainly happened down south, not sure where else though. I remember it clearly as they killed all the flamingos at paultons park (where peppa pig world is) Sad

I hope your injured chickie is OK and your DP realises not to be a cock. Why do work always seem to arrange trips away at icing time?!

justtheonethen · 25/11/2015 15:18

Injured chicken had to be put down. Sad

Work are very inconsiderate, bloody annoying. Fingers crossed for late icing

angelazul · 25/11/2015 17:09

Sorry to hear about your chicks Just Flowers

Still no witch & very light spotting again this morning, so light is only noticeable when wiping. I'd thought my cycles were starting to get more regular again, but I guess not Sad

FuzzyOwl · 25/11/2015 17:21

Sorry to hear about your chick just. Flowers

I got a BFN earlier. AF due tomorrow and I am not holding out much hope. Still, next cycle means I can test on Christmas Day.

MyBlackCat · 25/11/2015 20:07

Sorry just that's shit RIP chickens

Started spotting, she may be here but she is being consistent, I could set my watch by her Shock

So we head onto cycle 24 and the 2 year milestone of ttc, not an anniversary I want to celebrate Angry

Oh black hugs for you Flowers

Catscatsandmorecats · 25/11/2015 20:41

Oh just I'm so sorry to hear the other chickie didn't make it either, they are daft things but so easy to get attached to.

Sorry to everyone being got by the witch too, it seems to be a right day of it.

fuzzy my only successful pregnancy was discovered after testing on Christmas day, I think it is a good omen.

My spotting/bleeding has stopped for now at least. I am convinced this one hasn't stuck but I will test again in the morning to be sure. I'm still having symptoms i have been for a while but I suspect they are imagined.

FuzzyOwl · 25/11/2015 20:47

Hugs BlackCat.

Glad your spotting has stopped Cats and I hope it is good news for you tomorrow.

ChatEnOeuf · 26/11/2015 00:53

Oh Just that's so sad. We lost our rabbit to a fox when I was younger.

Boo Black Angry

Viroids, I'm back on home soil! Now, to get reacquainted with the local curry house and chippy Grin

GX for tomorrow piss party

CountryGal4 · 26/11/2015 06:55

Hurrah chat! You bought us back a suitcase of waffles right? Riiiight ?!?!?!!

Mermaid36 · 26/11/2015 07:00

That's what I miss most about DH working in Brussels - lack of waffles!

oneyorkshirepud · 26/11/2015 07:13

Yey, welcome back Chat, chips for tea!

Flowers to Black for the stupid witch. Two years is a long old time. Sad and to Just for the chickens.

Gx for those testing today.

MyBlackCat · 26/11/2015 07:14

Viroids with that sicky feeling. Mines just crept back today. Think it's been triggered by my blood boiling at work. So get as much sleep as possible and try and keep stress down. Def sure both these feelings make it worse or trigger it

ChatEnOeuf · 26/11/2015 09:15

Thanks folks! Some waffles, but more importantly, a waffle maker Grin Also, 3kg of fancy chocolate.
