Advice on day 21 blood test?

I'm booked in for a day 21 blood test on Monday, it will be CD21 (obvs!). However, I'm not 100% sure I've ovulated yet, really hard to use OPKs at work so I've no idea if I've not yet had a positive as not ovulated, or because I'm doing the rest badly. I suppose my question is, do I still go?

I also have an ultrasound (plus internal?) a week on Wednesday. Now, if I have ovulated on cd14, that makes AF due the day or so before. And I'm guessing they can't do the scans if AF is here. The internal anyway? Do I call them?

With a bit of luck it will be a moot point and I'll get a BFP before and not require it!

I don't know much about the scan you are booked in for but I was turned away from a hyxosy due to af. Yes, I'd certainly call them and ask them about timings as you don't want to have to wait another whole month for a scan.
Also, my dr explained the day 21 blood test to me as a 7 days before af blood test. He said the day 21 is misleading as not everyone has 28 day cycles. I'm not sure if that helps at all. Maybe try calling your Dr and asking for a telephone appointment (they can often do them on the same day or the next day) and ask when they think you should test.
Have you had any other ovulation signs? Ewcm? Ov pains?

I have quite irregular cycles so it's really difficult to know when 7 days before AF is going to be. Last month I was off work during ovulation week so could do regular tests! I think I might have had aches, but I never really noticed ewcm.

Just read about the hocosy test. I think that's what I'm having. So I think I need to call them. It needs to be first 14 days but after bleeding has stopped. And no chance of being pregnant. Arses.

Yes, you have to abstain until after your hyxosy. And if its anything like mine you won't want to Dtd after for at least a week after.
It's so difficult when you don't have a regular cycle. I've never actually managed to have one at the right time for that reason. Unfortunately I think all you can do is just keep getting tested every month and keep guessing in the hope you have it done at the right time one month.

Sounds like I'm definitely going to have to cancel then. Frustrating as neither the doctor nor appointment letter mentions it. Will perhaps have this blood test but mention it might not be 7 days prior. Perhaps I could have another the week after

Hi op. I had my 21 day blood test - didn't ovulate that month. Then had an internal scan - no visible problems. I then got pregnant a few months later.

The fact that I had a negative on my blood test, the doctor offered me another 21 day blood test the following month.

I reckon just go for it

27 months sounds stressful
