When I was trying to conceive my son youngest many years ago, we tried for 6 months and then I was spotting in between periods, my doctor put me on antibiotics (keflex) and I got prego the next month. He said sometimes a simple infection whether it be in the tubes or just in the body has helped 20% of women in assisting them in conceiving. Here I am 6 months into trying and 38 years old desperately wanting a baby as we all do and I asked to be put on it again to see if it helps, dh is ok and I had all the normal over 35 bloodwork and everything is good so this to me feels like the last straw before IUI and IVF which can't happen until hubby gets settled into his new job in March! I was looking on the internet and alot of doctors have prescribed antibiotics to men also because they can have a bacterial effect in sperm is what it said and in the pamphlet says that it can help with infertility, has anyone else heard of this, and no I've never had an STD or anything like that

Interesting theory. I would like to know if this is more common than just one person??? So think of this as a bump!
