Hope you all had a nice weekend. The schlep up to Yorkshire was fine and it's nice to have the car back. Yesterday I had a lovely day pottering about the house and shopping in town while Mr Imps went out on his bike. And now it's fucking Monday again.

keep how are you? I'm still planning on testing tomorrow. I'm a bit tempted not to test but I Think that would mean intense craziness waiting to see if AF turned up or not. I Think I prefer the yes/no certainty of an FRER.

I'm still feeling fairly normal, physically at least! I was at a Conference yesterday so I had to concentrate to understand what was being said, though I did allow myself 30mins of mentalling during a presentation in Norweigan, there's only so much concentration I can manage :o

Golly, I'm so excited/nervous for you both. I want you both to get BFPs so so so so much. I'd have tested at least 3 times by now I have been known to test three times in one day even when getting negatives

Was talking to Mr I about cost of IVF last night and he's pretty relaxed about it. He said that the reason we both work is to spend money on stuff we want/want to do and this falls into that category in the same way that holidays/weddings/etc do. And he made a valid point that we've saved so much by not have a child before now, we're not really any worse off. So I shall stop fretting about it and take his more chilled out view.

No keep no fanny bullets, I have plenty at home so I might be tempted to use them if when I get a BFP. I'm only on CD24 12dpo so I wouldn't expect AF quite yet anyway.

imps its probably a good thing that I can't get FRER here ( I have 1 or 2 at home don't worry) because I would have been very tempted to test earlier if I could just buy Another test to use tomorrow. I was almost tempted to use an IC this morning but I don't Think they're as good as FRER and if it was negative I would just assume it was wrong!

I guess we'll know tomorrow, I'm feeling rather scared, I quite like being "maybe pregnant". it seems much less worrying than being actually pregnant, and less upsetting than being definitely not pregnant. Perhaps I could just not test at all and be "maybe pregnant" for the next 36 weeks :o

I have small bruises all over my tummy from the clexane, at first I thought I was getting more moles...

if you'd been more organised you could have spelt out pregnant across your tummy!

Remind me what clexane is for? I can't remember if I'm having that or not this time.

It's a blood thinner/ stops clots. Some unrobust evidence it helps with implantation since that seems to be a problem for me

How does is differ to prednisolone (sp?). Sorry, I am a bit dense when it comes to drugs.

Re clexane, Coventry implantation clinic recommend it as it has cryoprotective effect which aids successful implantation and formation of the placenta. Incidentally prof Quenby who is one of the 2 prof's there is one of 3 in the UK who are involved in the new miscarriage research centre that Tommys are funding.

Pred is the drug they use if you have elevated Natural a killer cells, to suppress your immune system
