You can't beat a Freddie Mercury-themed title to get a new thread going Grin

It could be caused by a prog rise Mol. I think it's too early for implantation (unless you ov'd earlier than you think you did). I've had random brown CM in some cycles with no particular reason for it.

QueenMolotov · 05/01/2016 11:47

Yeah, I know it's prob too early for implantation spotting. I really am trying not to think about pg too much, and not be in that 'pre pregnant' state of mind whereby I avoid wine and blue cheese! That said, it's difficult to push out of my head (pg thoughts, not wine or blue cheese).

I'd very much like to just get pg and it not take aaaaaaaaages. I promise, though, not to pg test until I get a late period

See I for one relish a bit of symptom spotting and early testing. The only thing I make myself not do is get my hopes up. I go with a "Oooh my boobs hurt - wouldn't it be nice if that were a preggo symptom" approach rather than a "Oooh my boobs hurt - maybe I'm pregnant?" approach. A subtle difference perhaps but it works for me.

And I do love scrutinising tests for a line - even though the chances are slim, sometimes, just sometimes, a faint line appears and it's very exciting when it does (even if that excitement doesn't last for long).

keepitgoing · 05/01/2016 12:27

Hmm, I'm different, I can't symptom spot, and never take pg tests. It's too early for implantation mol but I suppose it shows the old hormones are doing something...

imps great news your body is doing so well. Amazing as it was still in the throes of mc that it was preparing your next egg! IMSI will do it for you. Good to hear you have plenty of hols booked, as usual ;)

Ffs it's hard juggling ivf round work. My diary is filling up for next week and I'm likely to be off for EC but don't know when. Oh well, que Sera, Sera.

QueenMolotov · 05/01/2016 16:06

Woah, just collected dds from school and there are bumps everywhere! Even from women who I had no idea were pg!

Although I have been pg twice, I still just don't know how they do it ...

OP posts:
Imps9 · 05/01/2016 21:20

Are you sure they were baby bumps and not just a consequence of Christmas gluttony though Mol?

Imps9 · 06/01/2016 09:13

Are you having another scan today Keep?

QueenMolotov · 06/01/2016 09:16

Probably Imps, and they're most likely thinking the same about me! I have developed love handles over December!

OP posts:
keepitgoing · 06/01/2016 09:33

Nope not till Friday imps which will be day 6 of stimms. brook brook. Start cetrotide tomorrow night

Baby bumps = mince pie bumps, deffo!

You dropped that egg yet imps?

loopy how are you?

QueenMolotov · 06/01/2016 11:34

Brooking for you, keep

Think today is Egg Day. Had some ov pains last night and a bit more pant snot this morning. Still in awe of my amazing body even the flumpy bits around the edges. It was SO WEIRD to not have The Sex last night - half of my brain was telling me that we should just go for it and that we were wasting a chance for it to work, but I really think it's the most sensible thing to wait until IVF.

Brooking for your follies Keep. I feel your pain about the inconvenience though - it is such a pain in the arse to have no certainty as to when EC/ET will be until it more or less happens. Such a massive flippin' faff.

Any more symptoms today Mol?

QueenMolotov · 06/01/2016 14:05

I think it's the right thing to do to not ttc until you start your next round of treatment, Imps. As tempting as I'm sure it is to try, you've been through so much both physically and emotionally and I think you really do need to play it safe in the meantime. Hopefully, your cycles will behave and your body will grow a baby for a full 40w with the help of IMSI, metformin, etc.

No more symptoms for me today, but I am definitely fatter! Must have been my DM's lovely cooking over Christmas! I haven't weighed myself but I can feel it in my clothes and ... new love handles. Why have they suddenly appeared?! I've seen loads of people jogging and on their way to the gym, but I'm not really into that. I prefer walks in the fresh air. I always feel very self-conscious in the gym.

Also my friend had a baby 7 weeks ago; I saw them today and my ovaries definitely twitched. Is that a symptom?

OP posts:
Imps9 · 07/01/2016 10:23

Twitching ovaries are one of the best symptoms there is Mol!

Egg deffo dropped yesterday - had a strong line on IC cheapie on Tues night and no line last night. Digi was also negative this morning.

Nearly through the first week after Christmas

Loopyaboutmy2boys · 07/01/2016 10:48

Sorry for absence, don't get online much when boys are around, but ds1 went back to school from Tuesday and ds2 at nursery this morning.

So imps, just refresh my memory which is blurred having just raced through several pages of posts. How many days before ovulation did your shag take place? 😉

Have everything crossed for you/keep/beedles as you have been here so long now (no offence to mol or anyone else but just those three need a break!).

I'm doing ok but to whoever asked when I am due to ovulate, I haven't got a clue. I am on my last day of clomid today, and at some point on Monday my consultant is going to scan me to make sure there is no chance of me being the next octomum (fat chance, can't even get one good egg to stick since ds2 in 2012). Then at some point I will ovulate ( think the leaflet said average can be 5-15 days after last tablet but need to look into this)and hopefully he will say I'm ok to dtd after the scan. There's a tiny part of me thinking even if there was more than one egg about to ovulate, we might as well DTD rather than waste the cycle, as the chances of 2 or more good eggs rocking up at the same time and all implanting successfully must be about as likely as the 45 million to one chances for winning the lottery jackpot now!

There is a part of me really hoping it works, the combo of now being on the metformin, the clomid, the progesterone, and having the clexane from bfp. But there is another part thinking about just how many miscarriages I have had and that I won't have many good eggs left as will be 40 this year, and that clomid for some people can thin the lining making pregnancy impossible and for some people it can reduce the amount of fertile mucus making it hard for sperm to survive to be able to fertilise an egg.

Oh to have a crystal ball...

QueenMolotov · 07/01/2016 11:32

No offence taken, Loopy. Again, I wish you the very best of luck with your latest cycle of meds and ttc Smile

OP posts:
Imps9 · 07/01/2016 11:48

Loops can you take evening primrose oil on top of the meds? It's amazing for CM - I get loads more when I take it. You may need to ask if it would interfere with any of the other meds though.

It WILL work and that really is that. You are a Brooker after all.

Imps9 · 07/01/2016 11:51

Oh and if you're worried about egg quality, maybe try Proxeed for Women - Bourn Hall recommend it (I've been on it since the summer) and the Proxeed for Men has had an amazing effect on Mr Imps' swimmers so I figure it must do what it says on the tin to some extent or another.

Imps9 · 07/01/2016 11:55

Oh, and re post-ov shag - Christ, I hadn't even thought of that Confused. It was 4 days before - that should be a big enough gap for any remaining swimmers to have died off. Hopefully.

Imps9 · 07/01/2016 11:56

(sorry, I meant pre-ov shag).

keepitgoing · 07/01/2016 12:57

loopy good to hear from you. Crossing everything that you get a good egg or two
imps 4 days should be plenty, don't fret

I can feel lots going on in the ovary department. Hope they aren't being over the top too soon. Come on, scan...

Imps9 · 07/01/2016 21:56

What time is your scan Keep? Brookety brook brook.

keepitgoing · 08/01/2016 06:25

4pm brookety brook

QueenMolotov · 08/01/2016 09:33

Brooking for you, keep

OP posts:
keepitgoing · 08/01/2016 16:30

BeedlesPineNeedles · 08/01/2016 16:42

Fab news keep well done you! Are you starting to feel bloated yet? Wed /Thur will be cd11/12 so we could be very close cycle buddies
