Hi girls just wondering what you think the best pregnancy tests are? I've always thought the more expensive the better but after reading a few threads on here it looks like digital isn't the way to go.

I would say first response or superdrugs ownbrand very sensitive x

Thanks. I've used clear blue digital in the last but read they're actually not all that sensitive. Just getting prepared for my 2ww xx

Clear blue digital are great, if your period is late (the day or day after it's due). Clear blue none digital are dreadful, full stop. If you want to test before D-day then a first response or superdrug own brand are good. Though internet cheapies are great for serial testers!

Thanks Junosmum, what brand of IC would you recommend? Don't want to order any duff tests x

I used a brand from Amazon called one step ultra sensitive x

I also use the same Amazon ones. They've been great so far if constantly getting BFNs is great lol

Junosmum · 04/11/2015 15:12

Yep, those from amazon! they are like 50 for PS3 or something. Be aware though that the line never gets very dark on them, but once you've got a faint line you can splash out the PS3 for a fancy frer or superdrug one!

Internet ones are great to satisfy the need to POAS but they aren't that sensitive. First Response are the best or Super drug own brand. I was getting positives on those and negatives on the Internet cheapies for a few days before I was due my period.

Internet ones can be sensitive. The ones I bought are 10iu/ml which is the same sensitivity as frer and more so than CB. You have to read the full description though as some are as low as 25iu/ml

I used a boots own brand which gave me a very faint line, and then used a clear blue digital which confirmed pregnancy :)
