First cycle after miscarriage....advice please :)

I had a miscarriage last cycle, I am normally 28 days pretty much 99% of the time, maximum 31. So last cycle was 38 days in total, now I am on day 35, no af and negative tests....haven't reallllly got massive hopes pinned on this month as didn't know what the cycle would be like....so my question is, what experiences has everyone had when they have come off the back of a miscarriage?? Long cycle?? Thanks ladies! x

Hi little I'm afraid it seems to be different for everyone, not what you wanted to hear I'm sure. I went straight back to a 28 day cycle, but then last month went to 27. And I don't know if I'm ovulating. I hear about people who it can take months to get back to normal. Sorry for your loss. How far gone were you? I was very early which is why I think I went back to a normal cycle length quickly. Although the bloody non ovulation is so crap. I hope things work out for you X

Thanks for your message... I was only 5 and a bit weeks. It was effectively like a normal period really. I still haven't come on...DAY 41, my last test was Wednesday and that was negative. Really not sure what to make of it! xx

I also am not sure if I ovulated this last cycle...I have PCO. x

That's crap! Sorry to hear about your long cycle. I would suggest going to the dr but I think the only thing they can offer to regulate cycles is going on contraception, they offered me that once
I hope things sort themselves out properly. I was early too, a similar time to you and it wasn't too different to a normal af.

I'm almost certain I haven't ovulated this month, 3rd cycle since mc. CB ovulation kit said we did, ic opk says we didn't, temp says we didn't. Blood test booked for Friday which will give us the only certain result....

Hurrah....have come on...so I had a 41 day cycle in the end....have to keep track of everything next month as no idea if I will jump back to a shorter normal length cycle or stay a bit longer... so unpredictable. Think I may start having bloods again to check for ovulation this month. I have had investigations and fertility treatment so we can action that pretty easily. I found with the MC I had last month, if we hadn't been testing to be honest I wouldn't of really known as my af was completely normal... x
