HOW MANY WEEKS PREGNANT AM I?

I feel a bit silly asking this, but I am a bit confused! Date of the first day of my last period was 28th April, so how many weeks am I - sure the doctor told me something different from the results on those due date calculators on internet.
Can someone put me out of my (dumb) misery please?

Is 28 April a typo? If not, you're 2.5 weeks pregnant (and your period wouldn't be due for another week and a half)!

Anyway, your pregnancy is measured from the first day of your last period. If it was March 28, that would make you 7 weeks pregnant.

what an idiot I am - yes i did mean 28 March - pregnancy has made me lose what brain cells I had left from the first one!!! Also, it is late and I am missing having that Friday night glass of wine or too.!!!

I think the doctor gave me a date of around 2nd Jan (so no partying for me New Years EVe!).
