Hi, I'm new to this thread and new to discussing conception so please bare with me!
I was diagnosed with Rheumatoid Arthritis 5 years ago while I was at uni. I've managed it fairly well on medication since then.
I got married just over 2 years ago and unlike a lot of couples, our baby process has to be very carefully thought out and planned. I have to come off my medication 3 months before we start TTC. We talked and talked about it and decided to start trying at the start on 2016.
2016 is now rapidly approaching and on Monday I came off my meds. For starters it was scary because talking about having a baby is one thing, actually starting to put things in place is another!
I'm expecting to not feel at my best for the next few months and we're praying that we find it easy to conceive and I won't have to struggle for months on end as RA usually dies down during pregnancy.
Are there any other women who are going through or have been through this? I would love to hear stories and experiences of women with RA!
