3 miscarriages in a row - feeling hopeless

I feel a bit doomed now

I've had two successful pregnancies which I'm very grateful for. I was hoping for one more child.

Last 3 pregnancies now ended in miscarriage. 2 missed miscarriages at about 11 weeks. I miscarried today too - thought I was 8 weeks but was measuring 5 weeks.

I wanted to have 3 children close in age but if I ever have a third one the two eldest will be close in age and there will be a 4 or 5 year gap to the baby.

Postmortem on the middle pregnancy was inconclusive. No postmortem for the first one.

I didn't want to read your post then not reply, I don't have any experience but please don't feel hopeless. Im sure many posters will reply soon with some wonderful advice. X

pages so sorry to hear this but you are not alone. If you pop over to the miscarriage section there is thread for people like us who have suffered recurrent miscarriage. The ladies there are very knowledgeable and friendly, they have compiled the different treatment programmes they're on so you know what to start requesting from doctors and there are lots of success stories.
