period type pains around cd21

i've been ttc for over a year now and i've started noticing period type pains about a week before my period is due around cd21. what are they? they can't be ovulation pains surely that would be too late?

does anyone else get this?

I got this on CD21 too this week! Also ttc #1 for 11 months.

How strange I am going to google it!

yeah i can't work it out. its surely too early for implantation cramps. and anyway i've had them a few months running and not got a bfp
