Hi all,

This is prob a bit of a silly question but thought I'd ask it anyway!

Planning on stopping pill soon to starts ttc. I've heard that some people say your perhaps slightlymore likely to conceive soon after as your body goes into overdrive etc. was planning on coming off pill just at end of pack, then I'd be covered for the next 7 days (just like my break) then good to go from then on in! Was just wondering is this what others have done or did some come off mid pack or would it even matter?!!

I just came off mid pack but didn't start ttc until 4 months later as I wanted to lose weight and find my normal cycle again. As it happens, 8 months on I still haven't got a regular cycle! I don't think it matters much but you're probably doing it right stopping at the end of a pack. I don't know about being more fertile after stopping. It all depends on how quickly you start ovulating which varies for every woman.

I stopped taking my pill last week and waited until the end of a pack. I felt it best to try and help get my body back in to routine cycles.

6 months before you ttc. you need to give your body time to get your fertility back.
