Confused

Hope someone can help me.
I usually have regular periods every 28 days however in September I had my period on 5th then again on the 19th, the second one didn't feel like a normal period, I had no cramps etc, I went to my doctor, she did blood tests to check my thyroid levels and they came back fine...I'm due on again one week today and I feel pregnant. Would the blood test detect pregnancy? We have been trying since January 2015 and conceived in March however had a missed miscarriage in June and before and after the miscarriage my periods have always been regular

Unless she's specifically tested for pregnancy then it wouldn't show up (not from a thyroid test anyway). I'd say get testing. A first response test should show up several days before af. The second bleed could have been implantation perhaps? Do you know when you ovulated? Good luck with it

I bled for around 4-5 days started as spotting then got a little heavier, that bleed would have been around the time I ovulated so I'm slightly confused (sorry tmi), doctor said I wouldn't be preg because I had a 'period' but I'm not convinced it was an actual one

Hmmm. Very confusing if it was quite heavy. My last cycle I spotted on 3, 4 and 5 dpo and so was convinced i couldn't be pg. But currently 17 weeks! But the spotting i had wasn't heavy. Cycles after mc are so confusing! If you're feeling pg then I'd still test, it's worth knowing what's going on so you can try and date things if it is positive.

Thank you I was going to wait until next week to test but I think it won't do any hard testing now, at least it will put my mind at rest

I'd probably wait til tomorrow and do it with fmu. Don't be disheartened if it's not positive. Could still be too early, but you could have ov early so who knows!

Did a test, it was negative but I kind of guessed that. I will have to wait and see if I come on next week

Well i guess if it was slightly early ov and implantation bleeding then you might not expect a bfp for a few days. Still keeping fingers crossed for next week. You're not out yet!
