We have been so busy chatting I've started a new thread. Welcome all 10+ ladies. Hope we all have some luck on this thread.

Consultant said he was delighted with the embryos' development thus far and just wanted to make sure we had the uterine environment as optimal as possible. So the oven is nicely pre warmed - he just wants it to stay that way. So I'm to keep taking the progynova alongside the progesterone

If it's BFN but we're lucky enough to get any frosties, we'll restart progynova as soon as AF is over and work on the lining for a FET

But first let's focus on tomorrow!!

That's fab Boris! It's understandable you're a bit wibbly, but soooooooo exciting! I'm glad it's all good for your DP to give a sample beforehand. I imagine when we go, we will be in the same boat because my DP is using up most of his hols for wedding prep and honeymoon so won't have many left after that. And yep, everything in one go here. The house has been on the market forever, so even though it would be a major inconvenience if it sold now, we feel we would be foolish to take it off the market/turn down an offer if we got one. :/

Hi ladies, hope you're all having lovely weekends

ET today went really well, I have a 4AA blast on board, plus four blasts on ice!!

The frosties are: 2BB, 4AB, 3BB, 4BB

Two other embryos made it to blast, but they weren't good enough to freeze

My gob is well and truly smacked.

Never in a million years did I think that with an AMH of 1.5 I would ever get anything to blast - let alone anything for the freezer.

Dr said he was delighted with the embryos, the big unknown is my endometrium - so just have to hope that this little one clings on extra tight!

I think I will give the pg tests to DH to hide. Believe it or not, I have never yet taken a pregnancy test. Seriously. There has never been a month I genuine ever thought I could have conceived, so I just waited for my temps to drop - as I hardly got AF anyway with so little lining to shed. I hasn't been trying that long before we rushed to IVF because when we got my AMH and FSH and it appeared I was hurtling towards POF, we felt we didn't have time to waste

(although the Dr and embryologists all believe the bloods are not telling the whole story - but three AMH readings and two FSH plus several AFC scans were certainly indicative of very severe DOR)

So the first time I POAS will be when there's £££££ riding on it!!!

I really want to hold out because the false hope of a chemical would be heartbreaking. Remind me of this when I'm climbing the walls and itching to POAS!!!

Good luck banana and good for you holding out to poas!! I did it 5dpt on my first transfer but have said definitely holding out until 7dpt next time!!

Starting to feel nervous now as its our final verdict on our embies tomorrow and to find out if they've survived and can be frozen. We have to call at midday. Dh is going to do it while I hide somewhere!

Mpp, hi! You sound so busy at the moment, but everything's exciting too. Good luck with it all. I'm taking a break from tracking for a few months and focusing on moving into our first house and lots of renovating. Plenty to keep me busy and I can't say I miss temping at all.

Arghhh got my day 5 results! They are both still going and are both early blasts so they want to keep them going until tomorrow to see if they are ok to freeze! More waiting...

trixie OTD is Thu 4th Feb. Sooooooo long!!!

mpp 4AA is the blastocyst grading. The number means how advanced the blastocyst is in development. So a 4 means an expanded blast, which is great for day 5.

The first letter refers to the quality of the inner cell mass (the bit that will hopefully become baby) and the second letter refers to the quality of the trophectoderm (the outer bit that will hopefully become placenta)

However a perfect looking blast isn't necessarily chromosomally normal and plenty of 'poorer quality' blasts go on to become people. So it's just an indicator - doesn't necessarily have any bearing on the ultimate outcome.

Ohh I don't know banana they still might not make it. I don't think they will freeze them unless they make it to expanded blast stage so still a bit of a way to go yet but I'm hoping they just checked them a bit early as they normally do it first thing in the morning. Praying they both keep growing.

Great that they are both still going Lucie, frustrating that you have to wait another day though. Crossing everything that they can be frozen tomorrow!

Thanks both, I'm just a little worried if it means the quality is not as good if they are a little slow as well. Guess I will see what tomorrow brings.

My clinic froze one of my blasts which was an early blast at day 5 - and they are pretty strict about what they will and won't freeze. So don't give up hope! Xx

Thanks Banana, my clinic are very strict about freezing and won't do it unless they get to expanded I think. They are going to email me tomorrow so will keep you posted!
