Hi (big wave)
So you clicked on here cos you were looking for me (I'm flattered!) or the title seemed interesting!
I'm aware it doesn't really explain anything but we are bunch of lovely ladies all TTC and going ever so slightly crazy with it! For more info see our original thread here -

www.mumsnet.com/Talk/conception/2412386-TTC-anxious-over-early-pregnancy-possible-symptoms?msgid=56357000#56357000

And our most recent thread here -

www.mumsnet.com/Talk/conception/2458534-Prtys-Gang-and-The-Festival-of-Foof-Fun-when-they-not-being-cray-cray?pg=1&order=

We are symptoms spotters extraordinaire - you name it we've had it, real and/or imagined confused
We are here to help, we are all supportive, we laugh, rant, cry, joke, rage, smile, and comfort together. Be you a lurker or poster (established or new) then you are very welcome here. We only have a few rules:

  1. No judgement - we all lead different lives and have different standards and that is fine. You wanna get wasted everyday of TWW, that's fine. You wanna abstain completely, that's fine. We need support, not judgement.
  2. No feeling stupid - we've all had those months where we definitely think we are pg 110% convinced and then AF turns up, don't feel bad about it, it happens. Also we all have different levels of knowledge so no question is stupid apart from the one you don't ask.
  3. On this thread there is no such thing as TMI - we are all adults and we all know how miraculous and amazing... and downright disgusting our bodies can be, it's fine. Share what you want, we will not be fazed.

So that's it, jump in and FX'd for all my lovelies xx

MummyBex1985 · 11/12/2015 22:40

Thank you all xx

Still not coping but I'll get there. My mum wouldn't want me to be this sad forever.

MrsFlowers82 · 11/12/2015 23:02

I came back to see how you were doing Bex and to let you know we are all here. Feel free to PM me (can you do that on here?) if you want someone to rant/scream/moan/let it all out at... sounds silly but with everything going on with my mum right now I sympathise and in a crap way, I understand. Lots of love xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

PrtyPsn · 12/12/2015 00:20

It's not gonna happen overnight bex aside from the normal grief of losing a parent you also have the shock of what has happened. Be kind to yourself, it's normal to feel confused, upset and overwhelmed xx

Thank you both. MrsF I thought about you and your recent post about your mum. It's horrendous isn't it.

I didn't mean to drag you all down, just didn't know where to post. Found the bereavement board now too.

I'll probably take a break from here for a while so please feel free to get back to normal posting!

Pirsy1 · 13/12/2015 20:59

Hi ladies, how is everyone? I am CD12 now so trying to DTD as much as possible ... usually feel quite positive at this stage in the cycle but not this month. DH said on Friday that he won't do an SA because there's no point and what will be will be ... I think he is scared that it will show a problem Sad.

Bex I have been thinking about you the last few days.

Lou13e · 13/12/2015 21:08

I'm not sure if anyone remembers me but I still come and check on you guys since my bfp, I normally just stalk and not post as you don't want to be hearing my preggo updates but I had to post today.

Bex, I am so sorry for you and your family, I know nothing anyone can say will take the pain away but I am thinking of you, as someone else said, do what you need to do for you, thinking of you xxx

glitterpoppy · 13/12/2015 22:40

Evening all,

Ahh pirsy maybe he will change his mind? Men are so stubborn sometimes and like to bury their heads in the sand!

I had the blood test and swabs Thursday then scans Friday, I've got to phone and make an appointment back at my doctors to discuss the results later next week.. I'm so nervous, I've convinced myself it's going to be bad news Xmas Sad

Still thinking of you bex Flowers

PrtyPsn · 13/12/2015 22:49

pirsy I think my OH would be like that if we get to the testing stage. He's very relaxed about everything and thinks things will happen when they are meant to in all aspects of life but sometimes I can see the fear behind it. I'm CD17 which is normally O day on a 31 day cycle but app has given me 33 days Confused lots of CM today so who knows?
lou of course we remember you, lovely :) hows things?
poppy glad the tests are done and FXd for results

MrsKittenPie · 14/12/2015 08:42

shary!!! Congratulations Xmas Grin
Did you do anything different this month? How long have you been ttc? What a fantastic early Xmas present!

PrtyPsn · 14/12/2015 08:43

Waaahhhh!!!! Congrats shary my lovely!!! Fabulous news :D

OP posts:
Pirsy1 · 14/12/2015 08:50

Wow Shary! That is brilliant news!! So happy for you and your DH.

Poppy I know what you mean about doing the tests ... it is scary, but if there is a problem at least this way you will know and you can do something about it, so although it's difficult, try to put a positive spin on it.

Yes I think he is being stubborn / burying his head in the sand. I think I'll talk to him about it again in January. Decided not to do OPKs this month, started DTD on day 11 so going to keep it up as much as possible. 2ww falls over Christmas which will be a good distraction.

Prty if in doubt DTD! It would be nice to get a BFP to brighten up January.

glitterpoppy · 14/12/2015 13:10

Thanks for your messages guys.. Had the results from my blood test and swabs and they're normal do just waiting on scan results now but the doctor is off until Monday so will have to wait until next week Xmas Confused

SharyBobbins · 14/12/2015 15:55

Thank you ladies, I'm just praying it's a sticky one Xmas Confused I ovulated early after an internal exam at the hospital! Really random! We didn't do anything differently, both took the usually vitamins, used conceive plus as usual, temping and opks. I just think we got really, really lucky xx

neetie1 · 14/12/2015 18:48

Congrats Shary! Fab news! Have a super (but sober!) Christmas, loads to celebrate xx

glitterpoppy · 15/12/2015 10:25

So stressed out.. Just had another phone call from doctors, after the receptionist lady phoning me yesterday and saying my bloods were fine she now says one of my levels were abnormal so they need to see my scans now and then I need to go in and discuss.. Could be polycystic ovaries or a wide range of other things like pre menopausal stages etc. Menopause?! I'm 30.. Feel like I just went to pieces. I'm not sure she should tell me that when she added to the end of the conversation "...... But I'm not medically trained". Can't concentrate at all now and feel well and truly down in the dumps, she did say try not to worry as the doctor hasn't marked anything as urgent. Sad I've also got some antibiotics to pick up as looks like I have an infection SadSad
