Hi (big wave)
So you clicked on here cos you were looking for me (I'm flattered!) or the title seemed interesting!
I'm aware it doesn't really explain anything but we are bunch of lovely ladies all TTC and going ever so slightly crazy with it! For more info see our original thread here -

www.mumsnet.com/Talk/conception/2412386-TTC-anxious-over-early-pregnancy-possible-symptoms?msgid=56357000#56357000

And our most recent thread here -

www.mumsnet.com/Talk/conception/2458534-Prtys-Gang-and-The-Festival-of-Foof-Fun-when-they-not-being-cray-cray?pg=1&order=

We are symptoms spotters extraordinaire - you name it we've had it, real and/or imagined confused
We are here to help, we are all supportive, we laugh, rant, cry, joke, rage, smile, and comfort together. Be you a lurker or poster (established or new) then you are very welcome here. We only have a few rules:

  1. No judgement - we all lead different lives and have different standards and that is fine. You wanna get wasted everyday of TWW, that's fine. You wanna abstain completely, that's fine. We need support, not judgement.
  2. No feeling stupid - we've all had those months where we definitely think we are pg 110% convinced and then AF turns up, don't feel bad about it, it happens. Also we all have different levels of knowledge so no question is stupid apart from the one you don't ask.
  3. On this thread there is no such thing as TMI - we are all adults and we all know how miraculous and amazing... and downright disgusting our bodies can be, it's fine. Share what you want, we will not be fazed.

So that's it, jump in and FX'd for all my lovelies xx

Hey well have been temping etc and I had a slight rise but no idea if that was a sign boobs have hurt for last two days and DH says my bum was much smoother yesterday lol new symptom maybe
However I haven't had a positive OPK yet, am on the internet cheapie's and they say to test in the evening and I have been but nothing...so no idea what is going on.
Still if I did ovulate over last two days we are covered so fingers crossed.

hippybird · 23/11/2015 14:59

Hi prty - ooh, 2DBAFD now. Let us know how you go!
neetie fingers crossed for you that sore boobs and smooth bum are a good sign for you!! haha, I love smooth bum as a sign. Us crazy TTC-ers will take anything as a sign!
I'm on CD14, which means I should be due in 9 days or so. I wish my period would be a bit more easy to predict! I've had really sore nipples/boobs the last 3 days! If I did OV on CD10, and the egg was fertilised straight away, is it possible that could be a symptom?? Oh no... This is gonna be a bad TWW. Help!

PrtyPsn · 23/11/2015 19:23

(grabs stomach and falls to the floor, rolling around like a sheriff in a bad Western that just got shot)
They got me, periods pains... they got me :( AF must be on route

prty - any updates this morning?
I'm still sulking - af being a complete bitch and really heavy - now on day 6 - I'm on holiday, it's not fair Sad. Realised last night that we went away to a similar place in January and I had stupid af then and now it is spoiling December's holiday as well - I should really give up this ttc it's been way too long now Hmm.
Hope everyone is okay and we've got some bfps on the way

Well aware that what I am about to say is not at all relevant to this forum, but wanted to get it out anyway. I found out this weekend that my mum has cancer. She is having some scans to help confirm what treatment she needs but it is likely to involve radiotherapy followed by quite an invasive operation. I am trying very hard to be positive as the Drs have been and they seem confident they can treat it, although it is quite advanced. I know I must keep strong, but I am very frightened. I don't really know what else to say except that I am going to leave this forum and hot foot it over to Macmillan or somewhere else more relevant to what is going through my mind right now. I said I would have Dec off and will probably still be lurking, TTC just not really my priority right now. Thanks for letting me off load and FX for you all xxx

hippybird · 24/11/2015 11:57

Hi Flowers - I am SO sorry!! I am sending the best of healing healthy vibes to your mum, and hugs and strength to you. My mum was diagnosed with Breast Cancer about 4 years ago. She had 3 ops (the third was a mastectomy), plus radiotherapy and chemotherapy, and I am happy to say she has come out of the other side - and is healthy and well (and minus a breast). So I know just how you feel right after diagnosis, it is really scary! But medicine, especially cancer medicine is so advanced these days, that it's not a death sentance any more. Not that I'm trying to belittle it at all - it's a HUGE deal, just trying to give you some hope she can get through it. It will be hard for all of you, but really hope you can get through it all, and see your mum come out of it on the other side. Sending you all the very best! xxxx

MummyBex1985 · 24/11/2015 13:34

MrsF that's awful news but it sounds as positive as it can be in the circumstances.

Vent away whenever you need to Flowers

MrsFlowers82 · 24/11/2015 13:54

Thanks both. Hippy thank you especially, that was a lovely message and just what I needed to hear actually. I am probably a real hippy (not that you aren't!) and I am very much trying to meditate and focus on breathing and keeping positive. I am very worried but I can't let the worry and fear in, I have to keep positive and strong.

Thanks again. I will leave you all to symptom spot now as you don't need me bringing this thread down! Lots of love n hugs n BFPs for you all xxx

Sorry for the BFN Prty Sad

Gynaecologist appointment tomorrow Confused

glitterpoppy · 25/11/2015 19:27

Ahh good luck for tomorrow shary

Pirsy1 · 25/11/2015 19:28

Sorry I've been off the thread for a while ... been really busy with work and various things and got distracted ... please will you have me back?!!

MrsFlowers I'm sorry about your mum! I hope you are ok and her treatment goes well. Sending you lots of positive thoughts!

I got my day 21bloods back today - it was 63 so I am very happy! Did POAS today though at 9 dpo (One of the OneStep tests which seem to be super sensitive) and got a BFN so think I'm out this month if I'm honest. There is still time for us all to get our Christmas BFPs though!

Shary good luck for your appointment tomorrow.

SharyBobbins · 25/11/2015 19:45

Thanks ladies! Starting to feel a little apprehensive. OH is coming with me though which will help. I just hope they're not dismissive. Sorry for the BFN Pirsy Sad

MrsKittenPie · 26/11/2015 08:11

Morning everyone.
prty - sorry about the spotting, hope it disappeared.
shary - good luck for your appointment- let us know how you get on.
pirsy - welcome back Smile. That's a great score! When will you poas again? Fingers crossed!
I'm on cd8 so full of my usual new cycle optimism. Still can't believe I got af a week early but was very stressed last week so maybe that had something to do with it.
Let's all get our Christmas bfps Grin [santa]

Pirsy1 · 26/11/2015 10:06

Kitten - I love the early optimistic part of the cycle! I am on the pessimistic side now and I also have the most massive spot on my chin - just to prove that I am pre-menstrual! We are away on holidays for the next week. I havent packed any tests so if AF hasnt shown when I get back I will do a test.

Shary Im sure they wont be dismissive. Let us know how you get on!

MrsKittenPie · 26/11/2015 10:12

pirsy - yes the optimistic bit is good! I'll be joining the pessimistic side soon though I would have thought, doesn't take me long! Keeping fingers crossed af stays away for you - would be a perfect early Christmas pressie Smile

neetie1 · 26/11/2015 12:47

Very odd occurrence last night had stabbing sharp pain in right pelvic area lasted about 20 seconds thought it was appendix at first but when I stood up realised it was lower that that. Made me feel quite woozy but was gone quite quick.

MrsKittenPie · 26/11/2015 15:01

neetie - that does sound very strange. I think our bodies do like to do very weird things to us. How many dpo are you?
