Hi (big wave)
So you clicked on here cos you were looking for me (I'm flattered!) or the title seemed interesting!
I'm aware it doesn't really explain anything but we are bunch of lovely ladies all TTC and going ever so slightly crazy with it! For more info see our original thread here -

www.mumsnet.com/Talk/conception/2412386-TTC-anxious-over-early-pregnancy-possible-symptoms?msgid=56357000#56357000

And our most recent thread here -

www.mumsnet.com/Talk/conception/2458534-Prtys-Gang-and-The-Festival-of-Foof-Fun-when-they-not-being-cray-cray?pg=1&order=

We are symptoms spotters extraordinaire - you name it we've had it, real and/or imagined confused
We are here to help, we are all supportive, we laugh, rant, cry, joke, rage, smile, and comfort together. Be you a lurker or poster (established or new) then you are very welcome here. We only have a few rules:

  1. No judgement - we all lead different lives and have different standards and that is fine. You wanna get wasted everyday of TWW, that's fine. You wanna abstain completely, that's fine. We need support, not judgement.
  2. No feeling stupid - we've all had those months where we definitely think we are pg 110% convinced and then AF turns up, don't feel bad about it, it happens. Also we all have different levels of knowledge so no question is stupid apart from the one you don't ask.
  3. On this thread there is no such thing as TMI - we are all adults and we all know how miraculous and amazing... and downright disgusting our bodies can be, it's fine. Share what you want, we will not be fazed.

So that's it, jump in and FX'd for all my lovelies xx

youandme - there's no denying that then! Congratulations againSmile
mrsflowers - yes been trying a good while now - since June last year. I've got one ds who is 3 and I'm so lucky to have him so I feel like I can't really complain that I can't have another, would have loved a sibling for him though. I'm 38 so age not brilliant and did go to gp who was spectacularly unhelpful and said there wouldn't even be any investigations on the nhs and we can't afford private.
Another bfn here today - totally unsurprisingly

SharyBobbins · 21/10/2015 17:00

Wow congratulations youandme!! Xx

glitterpoppy · 21/10/2015 21:04

Sorry to hear about your BFN kitten that's awful that your gp was so unhelpful.. The reason we visit them is for help so to feel like they are not interested in helping is rubbish!

throws Jaffa cakes out like frisbees

MrsKittenPie · 21/10/2015 21:12

Thanks poppy - I know, thank you.
Yum Jaffa cakes - I'll have some of them Grin. How are you today?

glitterpoppy · 21/10/2015 21:16

I'm ok, felt a little down in the dumps this week and don't seem to have been able to drag myself out of it.. There's been so many pregnancies announced around me and its affected me a little.. Huff.

How're you feeling tonight?

MrsKittenPie · 21/10/2015 23:14

poppy - I'm feeling down too. I know what you mean about pregnancy announcements and I suspect everyone around me is about to share their wonderful news which makes me apprehensive when going to any social occasions because I honestly don't think I will handle any more that well. It just seems so bloody easy to the rest of the world. Last weekend I point blank refused to go out with dh's cousin who has left her husband, moved a new bloke in and got pregnant with him all in the time we have been ttc! I couldn't have sat and listened to her Sad

BittersweetRose · 22/10/2015 07:32

Sorry about your GP kitten - can you request to see a different one at the practice? It might even be worth asking the receptionist if there is a GP at your practice who specialises in fertility/gyn issues. I get a better response from the GPs who are chest/asthma specialists as they don't throw antibiotics at me as a first answer to a persistent tight chest.

glitterpoppy · 22/10/2015 07:41

kitten I know exactly what you mean.. It's awful isn't it?

I just keep thinking to myself that I have to up my game... Although totally wondering if AF will show tomorrow as my app says.. I'm doubtful after my last couple of cycles have been all over the place!

glitterpoppy · 22/10/2015 07:42

P.s sweetrose is right.. Try asking for a different gp, it's worth a shot to see what they say Smile

PrtyPsn · 22/10/2015 07:52

Totally get that kitten I've avoided social situations in similar circumstances. Sometimes I think am I better off just telling people about TTC so they are more sensitive but then it's the added pressure every month of people expecting to hear news and the pity in their eyes when there isn't any :/
In tremendous back pain today, kinda middle of my back though so doubt it's hormone related. Seem to be constantly knackered and ate the most random combination of food for dinner last night, weird thing is I couldn't stop thinking about how good it would taste then it was amazing and still wanted more... if it wasn't for the negative tests I'd swear it was a craving! Still no AF here :(

Kitten I also think you should try another GP. As you already have a child I don't think you would be able to have IVF on the NHS, but I think they should still investigate you if you are having difficulty and if for example there was a problem with ovulation then I'm not sure that having an existing child would preclude you from getting say Clomid. I think it is worth chatting to a different doctor to clarify what you are entitled to, I think the original GP may have mislead you slightly.

MrsKittenPie · 22/10/2015 09:18

Thanks everyone for your lovely words, I don't know what I'd do without you Flowers
I've just ordered a basal thermomoter for this cycle as af is about to swoop in, I can feel it. I've decided if that doesn't show any ovulation then I will go back to a different gp. I did wonder about being able to get clomid.
poppy - fingers crossed af stays away.
prty - that does sound weird, when did you last test?

MrsFlowers82 · 22/10/2015 13:24

Hi all. Sorry that people are feeling down. I know what you guys mean about social occassions - I have two family birthdays coming up that I am dreading. A few new babies and PG friends will be there and I was really hoping to have my own news by then... Sad

Kitten absolutley agree that you should try another GP. Its shocking that they can just brush you off like that.

Prty - is it worth testing again?

glitterpoppy · 22/10/2015 14:21

I agree with flowers prty.. Maybe test again, those symptoms sound like something should be happening for you.

Hugs for everyone today!

PrtyPsn · 22/10/2015 15:09

Last tested Tues, not even a hint of a line and I'm way over for AF now :/

OP posts:
MrsKittenPie · 22/10/2015 15:29

prty - I agree it might be worth another test, your symptoms sound good to me. Could just be late implantation?

MrsFlowers82 · 22/10/2015 17:27

Ugh sorry Prty. Waiting and not knowing sucks at the best of times. I am keeping all crossed for you.

PrtyPsn · 22/10/2015 17:44

No real boob pain though and that was a big indicator for chemical. I think it more likely annovulatory cycle which would explain the erratic CM and massively delayed AF

SharyBobbins · 22/10/2015 18:17

Ladies, can you write me a note to get me out of sex?!
DTD on Saturday & Sunday just for fun (was expecting AF not ovulation this week). Positive OPKs Monday & Tuesday so DTD both those nights & last night. Fertility Friend reckons I'm 3 dpo. Can I pleeeease just go straight to sleep tonight or do you think I need to DTD again just in case? I'm sure OH would oblige but even he commented last night how knackered he is!

tay13 · 22/10/2015 18:27

Hey ladies, not been around in a couple of weeks. Annoyingly my knee replacement has been delayed and delayed... (I've waited 2 years already!)

Anyway AF was due early in the month but with hospitals etc I never tested until a week ago, no sore boobs or any symptoms... And got a BFP! If dates are right then I'm around 6-7 weeks and morning (all day) sickness has well and truly kicked in. If I can get a BFP after intensive chemo for arthritis there truly is hope for everyone. Knowing from experience just what can go wrong I'm not really allowing myself to get too carried away!

PrtyPsn · 22/10/2015 19:22

shary you sound well and truly basted, my love! I reckon you can have a pass for tonight!
Congrats tay what a lovely surprise for you!

Congratulations tay - that's brilliant for you
