Hi all! New to this board and just wondering if anyone else had BFPs that looked like mine? It's a superdrug own brand test. I'm probably 11/12 DPO but not exactly sure as I don't temp. Any thoughts would be appreciated! Xx

Yep, that's a positive. Congratulations!

Silky8220 · 03/10/2015 11:09

Thanks kim82! Should i be worried that it's so faint at 11/12dpo? I've read so many things online I'm starting to freak myself out :-/ xx

No, if you test in a day or two the line will probably be darker. 11/12dpo is still very early.

ICantThinkOfAUsernameH · 03/10/2015 11:18

If that's within the time frame then I'd say yes it's positive - congratulations! :)

Whoknewitcouldbeso · 03/10/2015 11:19

Looks positive to me Grin xx

I took this pic shortly after. About an hour after the test is was fainter but that's probably normal. It was most dark about 5 mins after test.

My tests only got darker after the initial few minutes. Try to test again in a few days as it should become more distinct as time passes.

Loki17 · 03/10/2015 13:26

Congratulations, bfp!

Junosmum · 03/10/2015 13:40

So Ive retested this morning and it looks like this....think it's now slightly darker. My Question is do the superdrug ones ever get as dark as the control line? X

Is this a BFP??

Paddypaws3 · 04/10/2015 09:10

Definitely positive, congratulations!

Try a First Response if you want reassurance. They are usually lovely and dark.

It can take a surprisingly long time to get the line as dark as the control and it honestly isn't an indication of whether the pregnancy will be successful or not.

This is how my history has gone;
DS: faint line on FRER at around 10dpo. Then peed on a thousand sticks and the line eventually went as strong as the control around a week after my missed period.
Miscarriage 1: very similar to above and miscarried at 6 weeks.
Miscarriage 2: line never went beyond very faint, miscarried at 6 weeks.
Miscarriage 3: strong lines from the get go. Baby sadly died of Downs at 11 weeks.
Currently 21 weeks pregnant: ridiculously strong lines before my period, my HCG levels were through the roof which I thought could mean twins. It's a singleton pregnancy, completely healthy, so far so good.

So you are pregnant. You can keep peeing on sticks everyday or using the conception indicator digis. But personally I would just enjoy being pregnant. Make your booking in appointment with the midwife around 8 weeks and make sure you are taking your folic acid.

Thank you all for your responses! I'm so happy!

@whoknewitcouldbeso I'm So sorry to hear of all your struggles but massive congrats on being 21 weeks pregnant! This is my first pregnancy and I really want to relax and enjoy it! I think I'll do oink more text in a clear blue digital (my husband needs it in black and white!) and then relax a little. Xx

Yes that's definitely a positive. My very faint BFP is currently walking around the lounge and trying to squish a breadstick into the carpet. Grin
