Hey guys, just looking for a bit of advice, it's been 38 days since my last period, I have had headaches, nausea, cramping, back ache, really bad spots, craving food I don't normally eat and I took a test the other day but it was negative.
Still feeling different and still no AF and temp is going from 37.4-38.9.
Not really sure what to think now, am I just being paranoid?

Hi I was just reading through this thread as I have just reached CD38 after 2 negative tests last week Sad umm Sadie not sure if I'm imagining it but I think I can see a vertical faint line in that box?!? X

Sadie91 · 21/10/2015 19:37

I sat and stared at it for a long time...thought I saw a horizontal line but nothing diagonal :/ X

Sadie91 · 21/10/2015 19:38

Which way should it be for a positive? X

Belle8 · 21/10/2015 19:39

Sorry yes horizontal line if I put the test the right way if that makes sense?!? X

Sadie91 · 21/10/2015 20:06

The instructions said a vertical line in both boxes X

I have been reading with interest. I am ttc number 2. I am just a couple of days late, bloated and bigger boobs but not sore. I my first pg they hurt to look at them. I get occasional cramps and a tiny bit nausious in the evening. I have taken poas to a new obsessive level as I buy the internet cheapies. They are sensitive ones and all coming up negative. I have only been off the pill since june but this "pmt" doesn't feel normal. Going craxy trying to wait and am tempted to buy a digital but I don't think they are any better.

Belle8 · 22/10/2015 12:52

Hi pink.
I did a digi one day after AF should of showed but apparently the are notoriously bad at picking up low levels. So I went for a first response second time. Quite expensive in boots etc but I picked up a twin pack at a local chemist for £6 something and inside it had a voucher for a pound off the next time you bought one. So frustrating isn't it I'm a week now since I got my last negative feel like I've only just got over it but now wondering whether to put myself through it again tomorrow before the weekend! Xx

PinkWitch803 · 22/10/2015 22:22

I decided to stick with my internet cheapies. They are more sensitive at a fraction of the cost (30 for £3) and I should test positive by next week. That or AF will show up. It is just so frustrating not knowing.

Sadie. I would get thee to a doc if I were you. You seem to have more patience than I could ever dream to muster but you at least deserve to know.

Sadie91 · 23/10/2015 09:34

I did get a little obsessive for about 2 weeks, but just trying to distract myself.
If I have had nothing my Tuesday then I will be making a phone call.
Just don't want to see them for them to say wait another week...!

Fingers crossed for you Pink!

Thanks Sadie. Keep us posted on how you get on and I will do the same.

After the night I had last night I am almost sure the test will be pos. I have my next batch of tests on their way so bring on the obsessive testing.

I was given a stark reminder of the hell of a time I had with pregnancy insomnia. I was really hoping never to go through that ever again. I also feel really gurgly in my abdomin and a little bit shit today. So either I am going to have an almighty period or more likely create a human! Hopefully a healthy one to term.

Sadie, I have not read the whole thread but from your first post your temps are varying a lot . What range were your pre- ovulation temperatures ?

Lots of things can make temperatures fluctuate , having a cold, snoring, not having 3 hours consecutive sleep, getting out of bed before you take temperature, vino, change of time when you take temperature.

The one thing that will never change by more than a day or so in any cycle is the number of days in your personal luteal phase( number of days after ovulation). Your ovulation day can change from cycle to cycle and lots of things can influence that, things like stress etc.. but the luteal phase will stay the same.. For example you could ovulate on day 12 of one cycle and if you have 13 day luteal phase you will have a 28 day cycle that month. The next month for whatever reason you ovulate on day 20 and you know you have a luteal phase of 13 days so you know that will have a 33 day cycle.Do you think you could have ovulated later than you originally thought ?

I hope you get some answers soon.

homeaway · 23/10/2015 15:35

sorry i can't count.. it would be 12+13 which equals 25...

Sadie91 · 23/10/2015 15:38

Hi homeaway, I haven't been tracking my temp Hun, I checked it after missing period and it was high, but that was a one off.
Hoping something happens soon, now on cd59 xx

Hi sadie im the same still NOTHING!! My next af was due yesterday and no sign cycle day 58 now very fed up just dont want doctors palming me off again x

Sadie91 · 24/10/2015 23:22

Ditto Hun, don't want a trip to the docs being a wasted journey. I remember when I was pregnant before I had a full internal scan as I haemorrhaged and the thought I MC'd and I had a cyst on my left ovary, worried this could be causing a problem...

Hey all, anyone here? I've just read all this thread and wondered how it all ended Sadie. I'm currently day 37, last time we TTC was late June and it's now mid August. 2 weeks after we had sex I thought I was having my period as it was 6days (which is unusual) but haven't thought much more about it until now. I feel nauseous, dizzy, fatigued, I feel the occasional prickly sensation in my lower abdomen. I am worried I have pcos or a thyroid problem. I just wanted to know if you went to the GP and they were able to tell you. I spoke to one today and she said just keep an eye on it. I'm worried, please reply.
