Opk help needed desperately

I have PCOS, endometriosis and problems with my tubes
Have used opks in the past. Never ever had a positive, I do however ovulate sometimes as even on negative cycles I've got pregnant (had mc/mmc though but it still proved to me that the opks were rubbish)

Anyway I'm having a FET cycle this month and the cloning said I have to use boots opk . I also decided to get clearblue dual ones too as I like to poas and haven't used them before

I'm now getting very conflicting results the cb today (day 14) said high fertility yet the boots are so light there's virtually no line at all ! They seem to be telling me the complete opposite!

Which is more accurate? What shall I do I'm so stressed??!
My cycles are irregular anything from 30-40 but more often 33-35 days
Clinic seem to have a one size fits all approach and won't scan me more often and I'm worried with inaccurate opks I will miss my lh surge and not get to do fet this month

Does anyone have any advice? Over in infertility board I had a reply saying def trust the cb tests but thought I may get more answers here
Thanks

Cloning...... Clinic (cloning would be a bit odd!)

I can only say that I've never had a strong dark line on an opk but I do have a 4 year old dd. I'd trust your cb l. Good luck x

This is darkest boots line I've had and it's nowhere near positive.

I use CB and sometimes I get prolonged high indication. I think it's best to be every other day once you get highs. Then when you get a peak be both days and the following day skip a day and bd again, just to make sure you've covered all days.

Good luck.

Waitingimpatient · 01/10/2015 21:03

Today's doesn't even have a visible line yet the cb was a flashing smiley face this morning indicating high fertility ????

Bd not be grrr stooopid autocorrect

fuzzywuzzy · 01/10/2015 21:07

It reads rising oestrogen levels doesn't it which gives the high readings then when the lh goes up along with oestrogen levels it gives a peak reading.

I've used the CB dual hormone indicator and the CB advanced fertility monitor. One month I got all lows then sudden peak, one month I got loads of highs and a late peak. Mostly I get and average three highs then the peak.

It is frustrating.

That is exactly the same darkness as I got the month I conceived dd. I kept testing until they faded. In your position I'd just dtd.

Waitingimpatient · 01/10/2015 21:09

It's very very frustrating ! I just don't fully trust opks anyway yet my clinic are making me rely on them !

Today's does actually have a very faint line there but barely there

Perhaps they'll surprise me and suddenly I'll get a dark one

Testing is confusing too...cb has to be fmu but boots ones not. So I'm doing a cb first thing, a boots a couple of hours later and then another 12 hrs later in evening

The first pic is your 'dark' one. Mine never got any darker. I'm always very hydrated so I put it down to that. I was testing 4 times a day when we conceived dd. I'd have noticed if they got darker. Good luck x

Waitingimpatient · 01/10/2015 21:51

Sad if that was my dark one then I've missed my lh surge. Clinic said the lines have to be same colour

I'm meant to start medication the day after the surge and then have my embryo transferred three days later so of I've missed it I've mucked up and missed out this month. That's why I was begging clinic for a scan but they want me to wait till next week

OP posts:
Loki17 · 01/10/2015 22:17

You haven't mucked up but the clinic need to listen. opks are notoriously unreliable. I hope you get some answers next week x

Waitingimpatient · 01/10/2015 22:20

I know it told them that till I'm blue in the face! They just say to follow their instructions despite me reiterating I have pcos and have had problems in the past

They just didn't want to re scan me before Monday so it's going to be a nerve wracking weekend and keeping fingers crossed I don't get there Monday and it shows I missed ovulation
