TTC- 2 possible early miscarriages and clotting- Need advice!

Hi there,

I am new to Mumsnet and have never joined any type of forum before so am hoping for some positive help/advice! Ok so..

My husband and I have been actively trying to conceive for just under 2 years. Within this time i had one occasion last year where i was 5 days late then awoke to a very heavy and painful period. My period this month was also 4 days late and i was so hopeful that it was our time, then today i got some cramping low in my cervix area, then clotting when i went to the loo. It seems there isn't much blood but mostly clotting.. Im confused as to whether i should find out if ive miscarried or if anyone can confirm this from experience?! Im also worried that when/ if i do finally conceive im gonna keep having theses problems.

We have appointments booked in for ovulation blood tests (me) and sperm analysis (husband) but dont seem to get much help or advice from the GP. Any help, advice or words would be grateful.

Hi Stace.
I don't think you'll be able to find out if you miscarried. Did you do any tests? Maybe you should start doing a pregnancy test when your period is due?

i was actually just about to head to the chemist when AF came! Ive never actually taken a test in my life but if it happens again, fx, i will defy get the test done before assuming and getting myself upset! thanks
