Fred rules (copied and adapted from previous Fred)

  1. Thou shalt shag as much as humanly possible in order to get upduffed.
  2. Thou shalt not partake of OPKs, temping, or charting.
  3. Thou shalt keep symptom spotting to a minimum.
  4. Thou shalt share with your fredmates where needed.
  5. Thou shalt not be offended by the word vagina.

JSing lingo

ERTD = Evil Red Tide of Dooooooommmmmmm. Or AF to most others. Also known as 'the witch', 'bitch witch' and 'that one with the red shiny convertible'

Viroid = This is you, dear poster. This is from the first JS thread when someone tried to type 'ladies' and it autocorrected to 'Viroids' - so there you go!

Pant snot = Egg white cervical mucus.

Doing a kitten = Getting upduffed soon after joining (warning: may induce envy in other posters).

POAS = Pee On A Stick (of the pregnancy detecting kind, not from a tree). Also known as PIAR (Pee In A Ramekin - cos we're posh birds innit), or PIATLH (Tea light holder), PIAWG (Wine glass) or anything else you care to pee in! PONF = Pee on Nigel Farage (Self explanatory, who wouldn't?)

ROC = Receptacle of Choice - what one chooses to use for the task of POAS. Optional decorations include photographs of controversial political leaders.

JIAC = Jizz in a Cup. Preferable to jizz on the carpet or jizz in the eye. This one's for the lucky men in our lives.

Jizz in a bra = how we transport the jizz to the Sperm Queen

Shagging like Something = JSing like a teenage nymphomaniac.

Giving a hooya = Giving a much needed slap to a fellow poster in danger of slipping into ttc obsession. Warning - this may happen to you if you start trying to POAS at 5dpo. PUT. THE. PISSY. STICK. DOWN. IT'S TOO EARLY!

Contraband (or Cuntraband) = Of COURSE none of us EVER partake of any silly OPKs or temp charting. They are Contraband.

Icing = ovulating. Another autocorrect development!

Getting your Cape on = planning some serious pouncing on DH/DP

SOTM = Shagger of the Month. Awarded with varying regularity to those viroids who go above and beyond EOD shagging in pursuit of that BFP

TWOT - Two Weeks of Torture. AKA Schroedingering!
TWPU - Two Week Piss Up!

Keeping your gingers = fingers crossed, yet another autocorrect development! Shortened to 'gx'

Doing A Lemon = Testing WAAAAAAAY to early!

Miroid - The male compadre of a viroid

Cat - Compulsory

Skittletits - Killer molten painful tits and nipples

Ghost jizz/goat jazz - When the amazing foof sucks up all the jizz - achieved when coming at the same time/nearly the same time.

Meant to say I hope you're feeling a bit better than earlier too

justtheonethen · 28/09/2015 20:27

Thought you meant the camera shop til I got to end of your message! Have looked at that, guys slightly better but all consistent with nat average. Can I change for treatment do you reckon if I want to?

Keepatit · 28/09/2015 20:30

I intend to. I'm pretty sure they can't stop you changing whenever u want to. I intend to change for treatment and go to the CARE Sheffield one because the stats are miles better than any others.

Feeling a bit better thanks hope. DH and I have made up too. Although I do think just about anything could tip me back over the edge.

KeepTheHope · 28/09/2015 20:39

Glad you're feeling a bit better and made up keep. If you need cheering up I'll share a corker from DH last night.

"How long do we have to leave the Viennetta out before we can eat it?"

It took him longer than it should to realise why I was Hmm that he was asking me how long we had to defrost ice cream for before eating it. I then proceeded to eat half of it and was too scared to step on the scales this morning.

justtheonethen · 28/09/2015 21:12

Mmm vienetta

Keepatit · 28/09/2015 21:15

Grin brilliant! I wish my DH came out with stuff like that. He's like, clever n shit and I'm like... Not! It's me that asks the stupid questions...

"Is a prune a fish"

KeepTheHope · 28/09/2015 21:20

He's really clever but sometime his common sense seems to go awol! Makes it even funnier.

The Viennetta was tasty.

KeepTheHope · 28/09/2015 21:20

I just saw prune fish! Made me laugh. That's the kind of thing I usually come out with.

Keepatit · 28/09/2015 21:24

Oh my old work place debated putting a book together of 'keep-isms'... A list of things I've said and questions I've asked which are utterly stupid.

On a random note: I've decided to take up jogging again. I'm going to download the couch to 5k app and actually follow it... Rather than instantly trying to run 5k and nearly killing myself.

justtheonethen · 28/09/2015 21:25

Ah the mighty prune fish Grin

lildottie · 28/09/2015 22:15

keep seriously "keepisms"? Did I used to work with/train you?!

As for sa results you want to look at WHO parameters.

1.5ml - 6.5ml sample
15m sperm per ml
50% motile
4% normal forms (morphology)

I'd say his motility is 7% keep, the 0.12 is a combined measure of count, motility and morph.
I think the density is count per ml so that's really good at 34 compared to the 15 in guidelines.
And his morphology is 5% so also OK.

I think at last Ivf dh had 12% morphology up from 5% with the vit c. (I can't push the vit c enough)

As for your results I can tell you its a result that doesn't indicate ovulation.
From my reading FSH

coribeth · 28/09/2015 22:17

Well viroids yet another totally shit day Hmmwhich has left me confused and concerned Confused been having palpitations or should say more palpitations than I usually have over last few months anyway presumed it was nothing much as pretty much have always had them to a degree but mentioned increase in symptoms to doc who sent me to cardiologist for tests anyway was sent for tilt table test today which resulted in me blacking out totally horrible experience problem is when you go to these places they totally see the uniform and assume you need no explanation of what they are doing or why so had to ask them whilst completely not with it from collapsing anyway long story short they said I had reacted completely opposite to what they expected as my blood pressure dropped and heart rate dipped to twenty when the stopped the test now unsure what is going on as my heart usually races anyone with any medical insight have any clues they told me to drink lots and eat salt! Confused but now I'm really worried about if it's affecting my fertility and if I do get pg how is my body gonna react? Sorry for long rambling post but I'm feeling so mixed up and frustrated about the whole thing!

Illiria · 29/09/2015 04:55

Lil so sorry there wasn't any to freeze.

Cori sorry to hear that, I had heard the tilt test was awful.

Nfmv- day13 scan today. 4 follicles/ 3 follicles and a cyst. The sizes are 34.2, 23.5, 22.6 and 20.7 mm. The larger one she wasn't sure if it was a follicle or a cyst. Trigger tonight and dtd, then iui on Wednesday morning.

Nfnmv - went to ikea on way back but took 1.5 hrs to drive 15 miles, traffic was awful.

CountryGal4 · 29/09/2015 06:12

I will also push the vit c. Dh was on vit c zinc and selenium and I was on the same minus selenium plus folic. We got bfp 3 months later. It could have been a coincidence but if nothing else I think it at least helped

YouBastardSockBalls · 29/09/2015 06:31

cori that sounds awful, hope you're feeling ok today Flowers

YouBastardSockBalls · 29/09/2015 06:39

keep good luck with the jogging!! I keep meaning to start too, going to look at a treadmill of Facebook selling pages today!

Prune fish made me laugh!

Still no AF so far - CD 27 and they're not often more than 25 days. I'm not going to test again until tomorrow though, if still no AF.

CountryGal4 · 29/09/2015 07:18

Yb were you on the pill before?

ChatEnOeuf · 29/09/2015 07:19

Ooh, good luck tonight/tomorrow Ill!

I'm sorry you're feeling rough Cori. You need to ask them to explain the tilt table test in the context of your symptoms etc. I've seen HR/BP drop on a TT test before, it's an 'abnormal' result - i.e. you would expect to see them go up.

jellypi3 · 29/09/2015 07:50

So is there a piss party any time soon???

cori that sounds scary. Hope you are OK.

Good luck ill

I'm also an advocate for vitamin c in high doses. Dp and I both started taking it a few months before bfp. Also if anyone has a short LP I literally cannot praise vitamin b complex enough. I'm sure it was that plus the vit c that got me my bfp.

OP posts:
YouBastardSockBalls · 29/09/2015 07:55

country I've had 2 babies in the last 3 years, so with pregnancy and breastfeeding I've only had about half a dozen periods on that time in total. Had about 3 periods since stopping, always had short cycles though.

Well I POAS. Obviously. Bfn, so not sure what's going on. I'm knackered and feeling v run down and a bit sick but that's not unusual at the moment.

lildottie · 29/09/2015 08:38

Morning viroids.
Will try and remember to do the en suite pics today! The only one on my phone atm is one with tape still over the dink so need to take more!

cori that sounds awful. Do you have a follow up appointment booked to discuss? I suffered with palpitations from stress a few years ago. It was horrible. Flowers

So I'm 7dpec, 4dpet (4dp3dt). And I'm already bored of waiting. I just need to know.

whatasTink · 29/09/2015 08:44

PRL should be

jellypi3 · 29/09/2015 08:55

lil when's the earliest you will know?

sorry for the witch tink but glad shes not too harsh!

OP posts:
CountryGal4 · 29/09/2015 09:57

Yb can I suggest a sneaky shag just in case your mid way through a long cycle?

lildottie · 29/09/2015 10:42

I was 8dp2dt last time jelly (so equivalent of 10dpo). But I was testing daily so that was the first squint of colour I saw. I'm not planning on testing that early beacause I've not been testing daily and I think a BFN on the same day as last times BFP may kill me even though it may not be because it hasn't worked. OTD is a week thurs but i'll be equivalent of 14dpo a week today. My mum comes to work for me on a Thursday so I don't want to test on the Thursday because if it is bad news I just want to curl up in bed. The Tuesday is also bad as I have a seminar to hold for my clients. I'm thinking perhaps Wednesday or Friday may be best!
