TTC after the pill

Hello all,

Confused newbie here, 32yo and hoping to conceive number 1. Looking for advice and experiences from those who have come off the pill. I was expecting "anything goes" after being on the pill for around 10 years. This is my second cycle off the pill. I was convinced I was about to ovulate around cd15 this cycle. I had all the symptoms, text book changes in cm etc. But nothing. Few days ago symptoms started again and today (cd28) I had a positive opk. Has anyone else had this before? So confusing!

Last cycle was my first off the pill. It was all over the place but I was expecting that! Positive opk on day 31, period arrived 4 days later. I'm hoping the time between ovulation and period will improve as things settle down. I know its early days yet but would be great to hear from others who have been in same boat :)

Do a pregnancy test as that can give a positive opk fingers crossed for you!

Thought I would jump on here and see what other replays you get.
I came off the pill back in May TTC#1.
Had a withdrawal bleed but nothing else since :-( went to the docs after 3months who told me to wait another 6-8weeks (AF should have shown up by then?!) it hasn't & will be 6weeks on Thursday so need to call to make another appointment and see what happens!!
Advice or tips from anyone would be good :-) xx

You do get a second lh surge around AF time. You probably didn't ovulate then.

I came off Pill early May. Six weeks for first AF to arrive, then next cycle was 45 days. Waiting for third one to show up (or not hopefully)! So only two periods in almost 5mths. Started taking agnus castus to reduce cycle length. I hope they don't stay that long - will dramatically reduce no. of times I could get preggers!
