Day 21 blood test

Hi there - wondering if anyone here can shed light on this. I have had this test done and progesterone level came back as a 10nmol. GP says this is fine and indicates I was in luteal phase - so therefore must have ovulated.
However everything I have read here on Mumsnet, suggests the value should be at least 30. I therefore am a bit confused as to whether I did indeed ovulate (I have irregular cycles but do get pos opk's each cycle, and when I have monitored temp I only get a very small rise - nothing very clear).
Has anyone here had this test done, and is able to interpret the result. Thanks in advance for any help.

"Day 21" year should be done 7 days post ovulation, whenever this is based on your personal cycle. This is because progesterone levels peak after 7 days and the test is to measure if your peak reaches the threshold of 30.

Not everyone ovulates on day 14 of a perfect 28 day cycle.

My gp totally messed with my head when I had day 21 bloods done on day 21 when told her I ovulate on day 18 and she told me the bloods showed I hadn't ovulated.

I ended up going private in the end because I totally lost confidence in my GP and was told by the private doctor I was ovulating fine, but late!
